I see where your thinking is going with this and to an extent agree. HOWEVER, being a guy who's maybe not the best with women, but I've dealt with my fair share of really attractive women, and I've seen how some women act in other situations. If y'all are sitting down watching a movie/tv whatever just sit close to her or like lightly cuddled up, start rubbing up and down her leg/thigh area very gently but enough so she can tell it's on purpose. You can do this on her arm too if that's more comfortable. The initial dopamine hit of "mystery" and attraction wore off because y'all talked all the time. She had nothing left to keep her guessing. But like you said its not necessarily you did anything wrong. If she was meant for you, talking to her all the time would've only strengthened the feelings she had. Of course not all the time, sometimes you just don't have the right girl and there has to be two willing partners for that flirty texting to lead to more.
