Why reward shitty behaviour with sex? I'd say being around quality women and preserving your mental health is worth missing out on getting your dick wet once or twice.

It's like that quote that I think Bruce Lee said. To paraphrase: "Before I started training, a punch was just a punch and a kick was just a kick. When I started training, a punch was more than a punch and a kick was more than a kick, then when I finished training a punch was just a punch and a kick was just a kick" The end goal is doing things without thinking, but you have to think to get there, and thought will always have its place. Beginners will be enslaved by thought; masters will use it w…

Seems like one of those things that requires a lot of tact and social awareness to pull off. Teasing a girl works great if you pull it off well but there's a definite yet hard to see line between teasing and flat out insults. Being able to periodically approach that line, sense it, and back away when you get too close takes finely tuned social senses, which probably come from around an 80/20 split of experience and analyzing that experience.

Let me know if you're curious about anything else. I generally don't have a lot of internet friendships, but I like giving advice. Even if a lot of it amounts to "go outside and figure it out for yourself."

I don't know how things are in Sweden, but anything that keeps you from falling into the routine of sleep, school, food, internet, sleep. Even if you aren't meeting new people, you grow when you go outside your routine and spend time with yourself. I used to just walk around, and drive once I got my license, and just go exploring and see what there was to see around where I lived. I wasn't making friends, but I learned a lot about myself and the world, and it's just a good way to feel better whe…

I assume you're in high school. Joining clubs will help you a lot. Theater club was one of the biggest reasons I had any friends at all in HS. And eventually you'll realize that being an introvert isn't such a huge obstacle to having friends, and may even be an asset. You can find your niche as the wise, knowing guy who people look to for advice, or the guy who's really fucking weird but also owns it so it works (which is what I've done). It's still a matter of time, though, and you need to work…

No problem. You do sound fairly immature, and like I was a few years ago. I had a much more mature friend who kinda forced me to mature, so I do have that unfair advantage. There's a term for the way you think about her called oneitis; you think that this one girl is the only girl you'll ever be able to love. You should try learning to understand the girls around you. You may not fall in love with them all, or immediately find another like her, but you may find they're not as boring as they seem…

Why is she so important to you? What's so great about this one girl that you're spending so much time and energy worrying about her that you could spend on something else? You sound young. I'm pretty young too, and I was in a situation like yours last year. I fell in love with a girl who didn't like me back. Then school ended, and we went off to college. Before I fell for her I had a fairly cynical view towards romance, but the more I talked to her the more I felt like I wanted to spend all my t…

The short answer is yes. The very fact that you need to feel safe in the relationship so badly that you'll resort to fighting is unattractive. What's attractive is true confidence; investing more in yourself than you do in other people, giving what you think of yourself more weight than what others say. It takes a lot of personal development to reach this point, and I'll admit I'm not there yet either, but it's worth it. A man who is this confident in his own masculinity and value as a human bei…

A good deal of the advice on here is either so specific that it drowns in details and overwhelms anyone who tries to follow it or so vague and abstract it's impossible and even pointless to apply to real life; by the time you're able to apply it you've already learned it by experience. This article hits that rare zone, in my opinion, where actually doable advice falls. I feel like I can go out and use this next time I talk to a girl without having to be entirely in my head thinking about how to …

A girl I know randomly asked me if I'd be her gay best friend a couple of weeks ago. Does that count?

Maybe it's just me being a virgin but if any decently hot girl offered to fuck me with no negative consequences, I won't turn her down because there's not enough work involved. I agree with pretty much everything else you're saying though. I just also want to make the argument that you can control your attention without being stingy with it, though it's mostly based on my own experience. Most men who I've found "attractive" in that I've felt a strong desire to be around them and have their atten…

Another form of over-aggression the other guy didn't point out is trying super hard to be the hardcore alpha male who doesn't take shit from anyone and always gets what he wants, no matter what. Someone like that can seem tough from a superficial look but when you look more closely, you see someone who's brittle, reactive and anxious and needs to puff his chest out and start fights all the time to cover it up, someone who feels a constant need to prove his masculinity, as opposed to someone who …

At this moment in my life the risks and logistical issues that would come with getting laid far outweigh the benefits. I'd rather focus on developing my smv for the future rather than fuck around and risk getting someone pregnant or getting an std.

I read the first few sentences under the impression that you were talking about going to High School and I was a bit concerned. I don't plan on getting laid until I'm in college, but it's still amazing to see what a bit of muscle and confidence can get you. For me, the amount of female attention I've been getting lately is surreal

I'm in 12th grade. I started lifting at the beginning of this year. I remember back in 9th grade when a teacher would have the desks arranged in clusters for group work or whatever I'd sit at my own cluster at the beginning of class and have it to myself for the whole period. About a week ago the same thing happened. Desks that were normally arranged in rows were in groups of 5. My friends in that class were all skipping that day so I sat at the empty desk cluster closest to the door. By the end…

It's been a few minutes. Now whenever I look up the color red jumps out at me. I think I'll keep it like this. It's interesting to think that such a small thing can change your perception so much.
