I don't get ads either, I use RIF on mobile and adblocker and Reddit enhancement on PC. That was sent to me by a friend.

Funnily enough one of the recent complaints was that they'd been offered a "gig" to go lingerie shopping, which is relatively easy work (you get paid your hourly rate, on top of getting things bought for you) but the downside is they would have to go out in public with a man.

the account I'm referring to is completely detached from her SW profile. So, no.

I didn't say we take away their means to sell content. I said maybe we shouldn't lean into anything more than "fan mail" i.e. "I love your work" and maybe a question or two, and if you're LUCKY and the person has the time, you get a response. None of this entitlement that breeds hatred and resent that comes when you claim to have "personal relationships" with your fans.

I can't be sure. It was never censored on my timeline but it seems like it was "underperforming" in terms of twitter likes. This could have been as a result of being censored but the product (less likes) was the same. At the time of posting though, the complaint post had 1700+ likes on twitter so /shrug

Sorry for editing it in, I made the initial comment on my phone and added the edit like, 1 or 2 mins after from PC. That’s what the bullet points in the girls’ bios are for. And there’s no more OF subscription once your monthly payment stops either. Are you arguing that some bullet points in a bio is any way enforceable as a contract? Models put a lot of things in their bios, including disclaimers about content copyright. Do you think that stops leakers? Physical distance and hiding your persona…

Literally provided you an image source, bud. Check my image link. Here it is again. It's pretty unethical, yeah. Getting Taylor Swift to perform at my birthday party is a luxury reserved for a select few. This usually comes with very strict contracts, negotiations, planning, prep, etc. and no guarantee that there will be a continued relationship beyond the scheduled paid performance. Security out the wazoo. Any breach of the contract by either party would likely amount to an immediate terminatio…

Reddit literally promotes ads for OnlyFans promoting the idea that you can lift yourself out of ramen noodle poverty thanks to OnlyFans. But surely girls are going into this because they are kinky and empowered and just want to sell their body for 5-15$ a month, not because their hands are tied?

No, just framing how skewed someone's perspective can be when they are used to be showered in free dopamine hits in the form of compliments and likes on their selfie. When one selfie gets less than the average of +/- 2000 likes, they immediately start complaining about it.

Well, if they didn't invest any of their short term gains or spend time developing marketable skills beyond inserting a dildo, they will quickly fall flat once their "prime" passes. As someone else said, it seems like a lot of these women's ambitions start and end at "amateur porn star" which is kind of sad.

I can't directly message coca cola for a personalized Can of coke tailored to my flavour, and then discuss with them back and forth what I liked so much about it and compliment them etc etc. No matter how much money I pay, Taylor Swift will never make me a personal song and music video, reply to my DM, or have daily conversations/Q&A with me. This is in no way comparable. There are literally Onlyfans creators who have listed in their bio that subbing gets you access to, among other things a "per…

Why would any decent looking woman bother with debt, schooling, training, hard labour when you can just invest a bit into makeup, yoga class, nice outfits and selling your body? There's literally no downside to it anymore unless you care about the outdated criticisms of moralistic religious society. Everyone else will be championing you as an empowered woman reclaiming the commodification of sex and prop you up. Not to mention all the positive attention that comes with it. No brainer really. Red…

fwiw one girl I know who became a "pro domme" is constantly complaining in their personal twitter about their clients, so I think you have a point. The sex worker doesn't want to be there any more than someone wants to be at McDonald's flipping burgers. It is work. So they probably hate you or like you as much as any other customer (and for most customers I would presume that they don't give a fuck or lean towards "dislike"). On the buyers hand, after the post nut clarity and shame sinks in, the…

You have to have good faith that some people have genuine ethical positions. Not every person who complains about something is "just jelly." Quoting another comment "It's extremely disheartening to be a man and see someone complain about their job, when their job is to look cutesy and provide fake intimacy with people. I understand that it's difficult and that the customer base is, well, not the greatest (to say the least), but it's still a real hit for your self-esteem to hear someone complain …

I would be much less upset if I didn't see, care, or pay attention to this. I guess there is some validity to your way of life. Just put on the blinders and drift.

Meh, capitalism sucks, eat the rich, etc. You won't find me sympathizing for the "bottom line" of rich capitalists who have more than enough. You can continue to go to bat for them, even if you're just playing devils advocate. But I have no sympathy. Thanks for your counterpoint though. It means a lot that someone would take the time to form a counter reply at length and with conviction and not descend into insults or slapfight. Thank you.

Is it fair to say some of her posts might get censored because the algorithm has determined she is a sex work account? Even if some of her posts aren't explicit on their own, they often have a link to her Onlyfans underneath. For example, she will post a mirror selfie with a dirty mirror and say "sorry I cmmed on the mirror" and then reply with "click here if you wanna see me cm even harder". So the SFW selfies still lead you to more NSFW content on her timeline or off twitter. Is it fair for th…

Just like I can scoff at ScarJo for being perfectly rich and wanting more, should I not be able to scoff at others for never being happy with what they have, even when it is objectively and relatively better off than a large amount of your peers? I see it like, someone who already is well enough just complaining they can't have more in excess of what they already have. If Jeff Bezos was sad that amazon prime wasn't "doing numbers", we'd all bust out the world's tiniest violin, because he has mor…

Is that so? I only see a setting for "sensitive content". So, if I want to see potentially shocking/sensitive/breaking news in its fullest, I must be also exposed to sexual content that comes across my timeline, either through retweets by others or through their interactions (likes, replies, etc).

But Twitter didn't, I saw the image perfectly fine without having to unblur. So I'm not sure what you mean. Another user said censoring is an algorithm thing, so I assumed that it meant it just wasn't being shown on a timeline. Regardless, I saw this photo on my timeline unblurred, so there was no censorship or at least by the time it was displayed to me, the censorship was reversed. By the way, downvoting a comment just because they seemed to have misunderstood or disagree with you is really ba…

I guess comparing it to YouTube's algorithm makes more sense when you put it like that. Like YouTubers can get demonetized for saying "bully" in a video. I just don't see how a selfie that got almost 2k likes equates to censorship. Sure it didn't perform as well as some of her other posts, but those other posts were a bit more ummm.. spicy.. so of course they get more attention. But thanks for making a comparison that made sense.

You don't find it depressing there are people complaining about their relatively effortless 5 figure income being "directly affected", while they travel from Australia -> New York for one month, when there are people who work 40 hours a week hard labour and can't afford rent?

In what world does a selfie getting 1700 likes equals censored? My selfie gets 0-20 likes if I am lucky. Her selfies get 1500-6000 likes on twitter, depending on if she's posing with her ass out, cleavage, or just showing a plain selfie like this. Obviously the "plain" content gets less traction compared to posting your butt post workout, I even know this much.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/22 12:53 PM

Not sure where to post this to get the discussion I want going. This OnlyFans creator with 130,000 followers on twitter is complaining that a selfie not getting enough likes "directly impacts her income". This person does exceedingly well on OnlyFans from what I can measure, being able to make a living off of content creation alone, enough to afford international travel and hotels, etc. By using OnlyFans own calculator, if only 1-5% of her followers subscribe, she is making 15,000-75,000 per mon…
