Ignorance abounds. The insult “pussy” doesn’t refer to female genitalia. It’s short for “pusillanimous” which means “timid.”

Simple solution: stop dating completely. It’s really not worth the endless energy and hassle.

Agree with OP. The ultimate true and freeing realization is to understand that True romantic love is an illusion and doesn’t exist. The ONLY real love that exists is between normal healthy parents and their biological children. The rest is conditional and transactional feelings of oxytocin for the purpose of reproduction.

Solution: 1) NOT selling train set 2) NOT engaging in debate or arguments. Leave the room and/or house without explanation. 3) NOT giving her more money for things than you decide is appropriate. If she complains or argues, see #2.

I’m guessing it’s specifically WHITE men that are portrayed in these negative ways.

Exactly. True emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize and manage emotions. Women in general simply operate inside their emotions with little self-awareness about them.

Yep. It’s not a popular opinion, but I believe that men in general have a higher EQ than women. Obviously not ALL men are higher than ALL women but overall men are skewed higher.

Yep. I did the “marriage, kids, divorce” life path once already. Now that my kids are basically grown, I’m most likely never getting married again, and currently not even bothering with dating.

And probably 8 out of those 9 are ridiculously delusional and don’t remotely deserve what they’re envisioning.

Men use money and love women. Women love money and use men.

The United Kingdom, where the serious is taken trivially, and the trivial is taken seriously. Orwell would be aghast to see what its become.

I’ve had 2 female managers in my life. One was a petty, controlling, harpy that was unpleasant to work for. The other was a pretty good manager. So from my anecdotal experience, female managers have a 50% failure/success rate.

A message to all my fellow middle-aged single men - just remember: about 1 in 5 people ages 14-49 has an STD.

Haha! After my last breakup, I told my parents “i WISH I was gay. Relationships would be so much easier.”

Generally not a good idea. First, you won’t ever be her priority; her kids will always be priority over you in every situation. Second, you’ll have zero authority over her kids and she will probably somehow undermine any attempt you make at disciplining them no matter how trivial the issue or how gentle you do it or how deserving they are of it. Third, she’ll expect you to pay to support her kids in some way probably even after they become adults. In short, with single moms, keep it to casual da…

Ask her if she knows who Norah Vincent is. When she inevitably says “no,” tell her, “go look her up and read her book with all the free time you have since i’m not wasting my time dating you. Bye!” Also, anyone who is concerned with men and men’s rights should already know about Norah Vincent, but if not, go read up about her experiment.

I’m sorry for your pain and loss, brother. Take time to focus on your health-both physical as well as mental and spiritual. And remember, you learned a valuable lesson: men love unconditionally, women love opportunistically. Keep that lesson clear in your head moving forward and become stronger.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
