maybe also related to this: "when a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure". in later stages, new entries in the field, instead of wanting to create something new, want to be like others or optimize for sales.

instead of finding the best possible candidates in the country it looks more like the system comes up with the worst candidates.

it will always do what it is best for our survival as a species not sure about that. but anyway, how about this quote: "evolution holds culture by the leash".

"god is dead" and beware of what replaces it. i suppose, if the internet is well censored, vpns and encryption banned, the smaller number of techy people sharing information on it wont be able to make a big difference. but we'll see what happens with the more free and the many non-free countries of the world (50 muslim majority countries, china and more) going on. im hesistant to think that it will always move into the right direction.

one shift in world economic conditions, wars or something, and i think we can snap back into the grip of religion or something like china. and as soon as the internet gets strictly censored, it is going to be harder to know.

i cant help but feel like that doesnt work like this nowadays because of a lack of judgment to demand what is actually needed.

what chance does the average man have with a women who doesn’t have as strong of a traditional background as Peterson has? no chance. it's just like with his religious views, which are a confused mix between underlying quasi-atheism but pushing christian faith at the same time.

ive never seen peterson as being about "what men should do" other than for basic psychological stability. i might have just ignored that side. it surprises me that he is even a topic in some circles, but i guess i shouldnt be surprised because his books and tour are more about how people should be. he came from a free speech issue and was eloquent and knowledgeable in times where noone else was, clearing up gender/pronoun/hate issues in particularly confused times. he is a renowned psychology pr…

that is always the beginning of the end. if i were in a relationship and hear that again, i would quickly break-up. if the other person has already considered in this way that you might not love them, it is likely that they are projecting their own lack of feelings.

if her reaction to the nervousness she experiences when being around someone that she finds attractive is laughing, she might see only the surface of that and say that laughing is what she likes, instead of being around people she finds attractive.

when i have a day off and go outside at times i would normally be at work, i notice how many people arent working. it's the same amount of people in stores and such as in the evening.

we make more and more people, we are still split into competing nations, we are competing against each other. who can afford to lose out against people who work more hours.

genes are shared so it cant be that bad. but there might be different inate preferences, for example if one sex looks more to external features like wealth and clothes for attractivity that will not be reached by everyone. there is also the variability hypothesis which might have something to do with it. it might also be cultural, if something pays off people tend to do it.

that they are failing to do that life is chaotic and unpredictable even in rich countries, i'm surprised that i didnt. i'm thinking of job search and growing up. it all seems easier if you're secured and reached the target once, but it looked very different when i had nothing, few chances and no guidance.

one can only hope that whatever low point it starts improving from, that it will become better than the current situation. and that it wont end up like what seems to be most other countries - dictatorships, poverty, etc.

isnt a collapsed society the worst case?
/r/MGTOW15/02/20 09:37 AM

maybe it is less stigmatised than i think. probably depends on the people one works with.

the small number of prostitutes, relative to the rest of society, would probably not want children from their clients and do everything possible to prevent it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/20 03:37 PM
1

part of the reason is that it is not as accepted by society. it would be embarassing and somewhat socially problematic if a coworker for example would find out if i used such a service.

what is so bad about being a prostitute?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/20 09:12 PM
1

you can buy some love, and be able to experience intimacy which can be like a need. wives arent necessarily good at providing that. the marriage contract is usually one-sided. some women working in the field of prostitution, at least were it is legal, regulated and there is a social support network, are actually nice people. also, think of disabled people who would sometimes be bound to otherwise never experience this intimacy in their lifetime.

ive seen one of my favorite subs quarantined and completely deleted last year. it was only quarantined for a few months. but as i hear, some subs stay quarantined for years. it's a shame, there should at least be an archive.
/r/MGTOW03/02/20 12:22 PM

removing the subscription button is part of the quarantine process i think. there are mods and admins, i'm not sure the mods are behind this but there can always be black sheep.

i wonder if there is an online resource that documents these common patterns, apart for this now quarantined / soon deleted subreddit. something that gives a quick overview. because i had to learn it similarly, how they get bored but still demand the world.

yes, it seems like it is. when it is extremely sexually exagerrated then i think it really goes out of bounds. maybe you have seen japanese cosplay conventions, where many (young) cosplayers go to stand in front of the building to get pictures taken. yet, in limits, i dont find it to be reprehensible. it seems kinda cool if there can be a space for that.

i keep asking myself the same question. at this point, im thinking that nothing good can come from that kind of diversity whatsoever. some arguments i keep reading: "we need diversity to be more inclusive" - how about just being inclusive and dropping the diversity? how about dropping the inclusive and treating everyone fundamentally as equals? they fight for invented pronouns (successfully, as several large organisations and websites now have it in an enforced code of conduct, it spreads like a…

empathetic/sympathetic, i would have thought it to be reversed. (emphathetic: "showing an ability to understand and share the feelings of another.", sympathetic: "feeling, showing, or expressing sympathy; (of a person) attracting the liking of others.")

marriage is such a stupid contract. sometimes it seems guys believe they get some right of control over the wife with marriage. which doesnt hold up to reality, because she's going to do what she wants either way and when married, now can fuck you over royally.

i dont know how one would sustain a big family life nowadays. kids grow up. but i think there still are many people up for it. personally, i like being left alone, doing my things and having things calm, but i know that is not typical.

what then? i can think of two potential benefits: someone there to call the ambulance when necessary and perhaps not feeling lonely. i dont see much actual advantage for health, as you're likely merely going to be responsible for all of the others issues on top of yours. companionship is not even guaranteed without marriage, can easily devolve into an unfortunate dependency situation where you're getting stressed all day, lucky if you dont, and i dont see it all improved with a contract. but of …
