We could not let the allegations go unchallenged. Genital autonomy is for everyone. Join us in defending the right to speak up about circumcision harms. Alongside these physical losses, it is important to remember that whenever a child is circumcised, by far one of the greatest losses is his choice to make decisions about his own body and his own sex life when he becomes an adult. https://15square.org.uk/circumcised-men/losses-from-circumcision/

The "Worldwide Day of Genital Autonomy" calls for: - Adherence to and implementation of the UN-Convention on the Rights of the Child, Article 2 (protection against discrimination); Article 3 (precedence of children's well-being); and Article 24 Paragraph 3 (abolishment of traditional practices prejudicial to the health of children). - Legislative initiatives worldwide that provide for the protection of all children, regardless of gender, from non-therapeutic genital operations. - Protection of c…

We would be happy to provide material for men's health education, it is one of our core mission goals to ensure all students receive equal information on the form and function of thier bodies, we know the current RSE lessons are not good enough when it comes to the male foreskin and it's importance in development. Please get in touch. https://15square.org.uk/

Fundamentally, 15 Square are against the practice unless it is medically necessary (and viable alternatives have been tried). It is not a small matter and therefore not “just a little snip”, as the procedure is so often described. This is based on: Informed consent and the right to our own bodies. We are ethically opposed to non-essential cosmetic decisions made on behalf of others. The hidden harms and the stories of men have often been swept to the side or ignored, however, this is slowly ch…

Respectfully, you are wrong. Some men are indeed fine but there is also a large demographic of people who are NOT OK with having their genitals altered before they were able to understand the impact it could have, there are men who have had an adult circumcision and suffered so greatly from the impact it had on them that they took their own lives. The issue is much more nuanced than it appears, we have a lot of resources and references available to help you understand. https://15square.org.uk/re…

For anyone who may not know of 15Square Happy to give you more information about 15 Square and the ethos and goals we have as a men's health charity. When 15 Square were first formed, it was to encourage men to talk in an environment where they would be listened to. Not one person in the room had shared their trauma around circumcision with their families or friends. We have received thousands of messages from men and their families. Some of these people have been physically and psychologically …

Carter reached out to us and asked if we would be willing to feature his interview, and after watching it we are very happy we can help him share his story. Addressing this harm with your parents is something many men who have written in to us wished they could do.

We wrote an article on how different people see their own circumcision and why some refer to it as mutilation and other see no issue with what happened to them , or chose for themselves and had the opportunity to exercise their own bodily autonomy. https://15square.org.uk/is-circumcision-mutilation-the-fight-for-understanding/ A key point from the article " We must understand that men have been harmed physically and psychologically. An example of someone being content with their circumcision doe…

Your experience is very valuable, your health came first as it should, but you know the difference, and you had autonomy, thank you for sharing it.

We are a small UK charity but are very passionate about men's health needs, and for our community, we are rising to the task of providing direct support and network meeting to give men the space they deserve to talk about the issues that matter to them, we have just launched this new initiative to our membership and will be measuring success of our Men's Health Matters meetings. https://15square.org.uk/membership-account/membership-options/ Whilst this area of men's health might not be for every…

Hi there we are a UK charity that supports men adversely affected by circumcision, we have lots of resources about the impact circumcision can have, we would be happy to answer any questions you or you friend might have. https://15square.org.uk/2019/06/27/will-a-circumcision-procedure-hurt-my-baby/

As a charity that supports men who have been adversely affected by circumcision, one of the biggest frustrations is that the procedure was downplayed & they experienced consequences that they were not told about. Some of them feel 'mutilated', others feel great. Education & consent all the way. Surgical alteration is a choice only that person should make. informed consent is the most important factor. INFANTS CANNOT CONSENT Our priority: provide information to men with foreskin issues so they ha…

As a charity that supports men who have been adversely affected by circumcision, one of the biggest frustrations is that the procedure was downplayed & they experienced consequences that they were not told about. Many people think circumcision removes nothing more than a little extra skin. However, circumcision removes several critical components of male sexual anatomy. This list enumerates everything currently known to be physically lost after circumcision. https://15square.org.uk/circumcised-m…
