GCSE's = Exams taken at 15/16 years of age in England. Further in the article, it is mentioned that Girls have done better than boys in GCSE's for the past 20 years, yet still, girls are the only ones that matter. WTF is this shit BBC?
/r/MensRights27/03/13 10:41 PM

No. Here is the full quote. Please do some research before jumping on the hatewagon.
/r/MensRights01/12/12 06:03 PM

Something else that should be added to the article. In the UK, there are 2 Million more women than men eligible to vote (Table 1, page 14). To make it even better, 66% of all women voted in the last national election compared to 64% of men (Table 2, page 16). The very notion of women being 'underrepresented' is absolute bullshite, when they have a far greater number of them voting. Here is the study by the UK's electoral commission

"The war on Women" is a bullshite attack on libertarian minded folks, with a heavy emphasis on it all being mens fault. That universities can claim attacking men is 'non-partisan' is even more bullshite

Yes. The UK parliament has a Code of Language, which basically states you have to be a snarky bitch in order to speak.
/r/MensRights20/10/12 01:56 PM

The entire blog has well written, thought provoking articles. I'd wholeheartly recommend an archive binge

I take great offense to you calling folk from /r/mensrights gullible.

Wrong! VA wasn't the top mod of /r/creepshots. Considering you've shown you have no idea what you're talking about, why should anyone take the rest of your comment seriously?

Let me translate this from 4chan to Man. Spoiled princess thinks men who spend a lot of time with their computers are low status and deserve to be bullied. Due to the bullying and female ostracising, man spends even more time alone with his computer. Quite soon man is a skilled programmer. Spoiled princess discovers that programmers make a fuckton of money, compared to her womans studies degree that makes crap all. Using her "I am such a victim" skills learned in her useless piece of crap, Spoil…

I'd imagine most UK /r/mensrights 'ers are winding down to bed for the night. That being said, even a broken clock is right twice a day, even more if it's moving backwards at a near infinite rate of sp....I don't know where I'm going with this analogy.

Does your university not provide toilet paper for it's students?

Check here. Apparently we tolerate misogyny. Apparently /u/ignatiusloyola and /u/gareth123 are ignorant of mens issues. Apparently it's wrong to point out that women aren't as innocent as the mass media makes them out to be. Some movements which have been writing on mens rights / anti-feminist issues for a long time (such as /r/new_right and /r/MGTOW), have been involved with the /r/mensrights community. /u/Doch_doch recently got into a bit of a spat with a MGTOW by the name of Factory, and deci…

Correlation doesn't imply causation However, it does waggle it's eyebrows suggestively while mouthing "Come hither and investigate further"
/r/MensRights04/10/12 11:59 AM

I believe you meant taken. On a slightly less important note, who exactly doesn't take us seriously? Feminists? The concept of men being different beings who need their own rights is anathema to them.

tl;dr - man's best friend gets shit on by Occupy Vancouver feminists, finds MRM, makes new friends. Also has a nice 'Book Ends' style of ending where he is initially drawn to an Occupy Wall Street poster, and then shows how men are marginalised within the poster in the end.

"By the age of twelve, at the latest, most women have decided to become prostitutes. Or, to put it another way, they have planned for a future for themselves which consists of choosing a man and letting him do all the work. In return for his support, they are prepared to let him make use of their vagina at certain given moments." - Esther Vilar, The Manipulated Man

You are being perfectly reasonable. Would you let this meretrix only allow you to purchase Vanilla Ice Cream, even though you really wanted chocolate?

Reductio ad racisti already? Just because someone you dislike once used Mathematical Induction to prove an argument, doesn't mean you should dismiss it entirely.

I can't speak for Jeremiah, but Universal Suffrage (universal, not womens) has allowed any Tom, Dick, and Harry to get the state to do their bidding, included, but not limited to, alimony, biased court systems, and social security (which men pay more into, and recieve less out of).
/r/MensRights29/02/12 03:14 AM

THE WELFARE STATE IS NOT AN MRA ISSUE. How is it not? Social Security can only be withdrawn by men when they retire at a much later age than women. Men also die earlier, meaning that men pay in more, and take less out. Edit: Also, threats of violence? Come on, be classy.

Could it also be that it is located on reddit, which has a (I hate to use the term) Liberal Bias, and many people here found /r/mr by virtue of them being redditors? Ninja Edit: Not sure your response was flippant or not.

I'm not sure why you think being against nationalism is inheritely something to oppose. The Scottish Nationalist Party (SNP for short) recently won a landslide election in the Scottish Pariliament. Their primary motive is to allow Scotland to become independent and establish self-rule from the rest of Britian. (Scotland has a very different political climate from Britian, with Scotland often voting in parties who follow 1789 liberalism, and the rest of Britian voting in much more conservative po…

Again with the insults. You might wish to come back when you can be mature. Have you read DOMA? It would bring regulation of marriage down to state and local level, rather than Federal. Also, he voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment. But don't let facts get in the way of a good old fashioned insult tirade.
/r/MensRights28/02/12 02:23 AM

There is no "beating" in these arguments, Of course there is. If I claim that 2 + 2 = 4, and someone else claims 2 + 2 = 5, I have quite evidently beaten them by virtue of being correct, regardless of wherever or not the other person has been convinced. why do you continue to argue against me? I would completely ignore you guys except that such an action looks bad to other people - to have ignorance go unquestioned Touche, except replace 'me' with anyone who believes the utterly riduculous conce…

It's not exactly difficult to believe. Women are (currently) the only people able to produce children. If the women don't produce children, then there aren't any more people, and therefore no society.

While I wholeheartedly agree with you, using Gay (the adjective) as a noun is valid English Grammar. It's known as a substantive adjective. The most famous example is this line - "The Meek shall inherit the earth". In that quote, Meek is an substantive adjective, and it is used to imply "The Meek people/things shall inherit the earth".
/r/MensRights14/01/12 04:02 PM

In that case shouldn't one be looking at candidates that support our issues? I'm British, so i'm not quite on the ball with American politics, but isn't Ron Paul the only major candidate in favor of ending the Middle Eastern wars (which send plenty of young men off to die?). I'm fairly confident that Santorum and Romney both support continued invasions, and Obama quite evidently does, due to his actions while in office. Since the president has the sole power to declare war, the candidate and iss…

How can politics be kept out of a movement that want to secure Legal Rights for men?
/r/MensRights09/01/12 03:42 AM

because that's the only way I can see to do it That explains a lot. You can't think of any ways to create a new civilization other than via guns? Thats not very creative. Lets see, we have: Migrating to a new area of land (you can see that happening nowadays with various White Nationalist groups in America, and Freetown Christania in Denmark) Moving into an abandoned area (Anarchist squatters are usually up on this un modern cities. If someone wanted something larger, Detroit and the like would …

How do you propose to sell the idea of reverting to a 2nd/3rd world economy to gov. and corporations? How, exactly, would reducing state power result in a third world economy? How do you protect your country from being taken over? Switzerland has every adult male citizen recieve military training, and each is given an assault rifle to keep in the home once the training has been completed. That's just one possibility. blatant strawman If people want a 'first world' way of living, then they should…
