In the US women have also been in the majority of college grads at every degree level (associates through doctoral) for quite some time. Since so many higher paying and higher status careers require a college degree at minimum this might indicate that women have an advantage at career prospects and higher economic status than men.

Do you think if we flipped it then the opposite could occur? As in since we are not at 100% and fulfilled we compensate with the movies and video games. Yes. I've been faculty at a university for 10 years. Each year they announce a slew of made up administrative positions they have hired for. They are of the assistant to, deputy executive senior coordinator type. All these new admins make more than faculty. Each year our total full time faculty had decreased without fail. At my university they straight up have ads for internships in finance that are for women only (state of MA), they have free training sessions on coding for women only (apple), there is even a damn ski resort not too far that has 'women only wednesdays', there are pushes for women to enroll in our stem programs but our nursing school is 99.99% female with zero efforts to encourage men to enroll. How is this shit not glaringly obvious to people?

I agree on your points of consent. In the US at least, I believe the legal definition for rape is penis penetrating vagina (though directionality doesn't matter), other variants would be sexual assault. At least thats what it was 10 years ago when I was in law school, things might have changed.

No it is not a crime if the 'victim' does not consider it. For example sexual harassment in the workplace requires the element that the harassment was unwanted (in case of quid pro quo) or not deemed offensive by the employee (in case of hostile environment). In all cases it is up to the 'victim' to decide.

I don't disagree. Equal pay for equal work has been federal law since 1963, whats all the noise about nowadays? If they think someone is violating the equal pay act of 1963 it'd be very easy to prove, sue, and win massive punitive damage suits...except its been the law for half a century and no one actually pays women less for the same work. I just don't get the logic or point behind all this recent complaining.

I always assumed the word explained was referring to it being an explanatory variable. As in when researching the issue one would state that the difference in average income for females is a function of, location, education level, career choice, etc (career choice would then be found to be significantly correlated)

That is an assumption on your part though. She never claimed it was forced, just that it was a surprise. After some time when people figured out who was who they reunited a few times, again she never made the claims of assault or non-consent. This cause of the feminist group and your claim of it looking forced is a classic example of using people as shields (being offended for someone else who is not offended themselves)
