Hey thanks for the advice and it's good to here from someone who understands the struggle! I haven't been flirting with her at all cause I didn't want to risk anything for some random chick. Updated my post with my final decision to not pursue her.

Guess I didn't address all of this actually. With regards to fucking her way through the course, I guess I'll see if she still flirts with me on the last lab, when I won't be able to impact her mark or anything anymore. I don't get the impression that she's doing that - she actually has a solid (enough) grasp of the material. But then again, maybe I'm just blinded by a hot girl flirting with me.

Hahahahaha that is a good saying, I will keep that in mind. Thanks.

Would imagine the liability is fucking a student as a superior...? I'm a undergrad student TA-ing an undergrad class. It's not like it's a weird age difference or anything else suspicious about the situation.

Yeah, I hear you. That was my concern as well. I'm actually an undergrad student TA-ing, so I'm not sure if that changes your opinion at all? I might have a word with some other TAs and ask if they have ever heard of this situation happening. I'm gonna give it some more thought and look into the university's policies. One girl definitely isn't worth ruining my university experience over.

I would have proof of when our texting started (date/time after final tutorial) if I waited. It's also a big tutorial and there's another TA there so, he could vouch for me too.

Yeah. That's why I'm asking here. I was 50/50 on whether it's worth a shot at the end of the semester or not. I was hoping there would be some consensus here to help clear my doubts either way. I have a few weeks though, I'll figure it out. Thanks.

My only concern about doing that is if something goes wrong and she uses it to say I was inappropriate with her while I was her superior (the university wouldn't hire me to TA again).

Ah okay. It means I'm a teaching assistant for a prof who is teaching a class she's in. I basically just help out with the lab / tutorial. Okay yeah. I will ask at the end of the semester.

Hm good looking out. I'll text her when I get her number. Then there will be a specific date/time on the text so I can show it was after the lab if there are any concerns.

Does that really apply if I ask her after I'm done TA-ing? I doubt I'll ever see her again in my life.

Really helpful advice. Thanks man!

Yeah seems like STFU is a common theme in the advice here! Makes sense. Adds a bit of mystery and leaves me less opportunity to say something fucking stupid hahah

Thanks, man. This is good stuff!! You're right that this is the time to show off my alpha side, not my beta tendencies.

If you're in a LTR, what are some things to remember (to maintain frame) when meeting the girl's friends for the first time? Obviously, a LTR is a balancing act between alpha/beta traits. But I'm not sure how to play it in this instance.

Yep, you hit the nail on the head with that one. Really have no idea how to plate. I somehow missed the stuff on the sidebar about defining/choosing/maintaining plates. See it now though, thanks!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
