In my mind, if it becomes readily apparent she just wants to be friends, the decision is yours. I don't think being real and honest with someone leads to becoming friends more than lovers, per se, or that both are mutually exclusive. Not to say telling a girl you met 5 minutes ago your entire life story is a good idea, it isn't ;)

Great share. One more reason that being 'real' with romantic interests is superior to being fake.

you're in her dorm room hanging out and she gets really excited to see this random guy who just walks in the room.

Love yourself before you trying to love another. Make every day 100% about you making your life amazing and wonderful. Naturally, for your amazing life you need friends, romantic or otherwise. As you build this exciting, active and socially involved life, people of like mind will gravitate towards you. This sounds cliche, but I am not trying to BS you. Commit to being a truly better person, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and then just get out and explore the world. Not everything has to b…

Get in the car and start driving to her place with as little conversation as possible. Before you drop her off, let her know that you do care and when she says things like that it is hurtful and makes you wonder why you are keeping people in your life that cause you emotional harm intentionally, perhaps vengefully, because you are not the type of person to encourage that behavior. Then drop her off and ignore for 24-48 hours. Source, old GF said this to me once. Not sure why it came up, but I ha…

within how many minutes of talking with her, approximately? Or rather, is there really a set range or do you just rely on instinct? I can see me whispering to a girl after a few minutes when she is trying to be nice just as easily as taking 15 minutes to whisper to a girl who might be into me enough to want to leave sooner. Why must women be so damn non-verbal with their communication! lol...I'm not hopeless with "IOIs", but I miss about 75% of them, I fear. And whatever the opposite of an IOI i…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
