online dating as someone who is abstinent? dating profile tips?I met my husband online at christianmingle.com. I went online because I go to a tiny little church with no young people, & the larger churches in town were a lil too big & bust busy for me; not a large crowd person. I had been married once before, & made some mistakes, both in myself & in choosing a mate the first time around. I took a good, hard look at myself to make sure I was the best I could be before getting back into dating, & was VERY specific about what I was looking for in my profile; … | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/12/20 01:25 AM
Can older men be a second chance for low SMV women?I definitely second the keto diet, or at the very least, reducing the number of sugar & carbs you consume. I've done keto in the past, & lost some weight without trying too hard. I am currently eating a nearly keto diet for my gestational diabetes, so I don't have a choice but to eat healthy for my baby. I was diagnosed about a month & a half ago, & even though I'm pregnant, I've lost 15 lbs since my diagnosis (don't worry, my doctor said this is normal & isn't concerned). Which, honestly, I'm w… | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/11/20 01:41 AM
Has anyone tried to “woo” their man?Right? I mean, there are some occasions where a vacuum/ crockpot/ iron would be a little insensitive, like say, a big anniversary (5, 10, 25, etc.) but birthday? Christmas? Heck yeah buy me that vacuum!😂 | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/08/20 01:23 AM
Has anyone tried to “woo” their man?Do all women hate getting vacuums as presents? I've been eyeballing a battery operated stick vac for use on the hard surface floors, or possibly a Roomba in the future. If my husband surprised me with either, I'd be stoked! I love tools that make my life easier, & I have quite the collection of them, from kitchen gadgets to power tools! | /r/RedPillWomen | 30/07/20 06:10 PM

A Guy asking a question!I can definitely agree with the part about men who lack integrity & a strong will end up pushing their wives into more masculine roles & eventually, resentment. I can say that because, well, a few years ago, that was me. My ex husband struggled with depression & his sexuality, both of which I was somewhat aware of when we married, but he assured me he'd dealt with both. Well, he hadn't, & it made him into a man who lacked leadership skills, ambition, & overall masculinity. I had to step up & tak… | /r/RedPillWomen | 18/06/20 05:40 PM
Anyone else feel this guilt?I honestly wouldn't worry about it. The past is in the past. You can't change it; the only thing you can do is learn from your mistakes & move forward. My husband & I weren't each other's firsts. We were honest about past partners with each other when we first started dating, & we both understood we weren't perfect people & had made mistakes. We grew up, wised up, & moved forward. Then we found each other. Do I wish my husband was my first? Sure. All the time. But I can't go back & change that, … | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/01/20 04:53 AM
Sad, crying everyday after the weddingLolololol the names 🤣. We have my husband's mountain lion rug on the wall in our living room, but as a hunter myself, I think it's pretty cool. I hung some girly stuff up with it that looks nice. I've mixed rustic with chic into a style that both of us can agree on :) | /r/RedPillWomen | 19/08/19 03:49 AM
Having trouble respecting my husband. Any advice would be appreciated.Girl, just go. Four years is nothing in the grand scheme of things. I was with my ex husband for nearly 4 years, and that seems like a lifetime ago- a mere blip of time in my past. I've been happy remarried to a wonderful man for 3 years now. Trust me, the ones who act like children as adults NEVER change. I dated a guy in high school & into early adulthood that acted JUST like this. He couldn't hold a job, blew all his money as soon as it hit the bank, & expected me to bankroll him when he was … | /r/RedPillWomen | 17/08/19 04:28 AM
| – | Simple QuestionsI think it's completely normal for a woman to want to be the SAHW/SAHM. We're kinda wired that way. Only recently has the pressure to be the woman that "has it all"- the family, the career, etc. been applied to women. I've always known I wanted to be a wife. I never wanted the career, didn't want to join the rat race & compete with the men. I have always wanted to have an amazing marriage & take care of the home. I also wanted to be an artist- I am currently self-employed as such with a part tim… | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/07/19 08:14 PM |
Why do I keep choosing to ignore red flags? You need to probably list up front what it is you're looking for. I met my husband on a Christian dating website, & in my profile I listed the following: that i was looking for marriage, was willing to have children, wanted a man who demonstrated leadership & was the type of person I'd be willing to submit to, what my religious/political views were, & some of my hobbies. I also listed what I was NOT looking for in a man & a relationship. Obviously, don't bare your entire soul online to total str… | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/06/19 09:00 PM
| – | Gratitude: What are you thankful for?So very thankful for my wonderful hubby & how hard he works for us ♡. I'm very thankful that, even though most of the time he works 6-7 days a week (and has had to work more than 30 days straight before) he still makes time for me ♡. He took the whole week off for our anniversary (which will be 3 years tomorrow) & is graciously helping me install new flooring in my art studio/office. "Aren't you glad you married a guy who knows his way around a saw?" he asked. Yes. Yes I am ♡♡♡♡ | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/06/19 01:16 AM |
Red Pill Parenting?I don't wish ill upon anyone that did me wrong in high school. In fact, I am on a friendly basis with all of them when I run into them in public. It just seems to be a trend that a lot of the ones that thought they were such "hot shit" in high school really ended up not being as such as adults. Really, the only reason I know what's up with any of them is that it was such a small class in a rural area & several of them are still around. | /r/RedPillWomen | 02/06/19 06:46 PM
Red Pill Parenting? Not what I was saying at all. More pointing out that karma got the ones who decided it was appropriate to bully kids based on what they had/ didn't have or their personalities. | /r/RedPillWomen | 02/06/19 06:32 PM
Red Pill Parenting? Not really. Small, rural town high school where partying was the "only thing to do". If you're hard on your body when you're young, it's not going to be good to you as you age. There are a lot of kids from my class who are doing well; they didn't fall into drugs & went on to get college degrees & careers. But yeah, you'd be surprised how many men start balding, or even turning grey, in their 20s- not just at my school, but other kids I knew growing up. | /r/RedPillWomen | 02/06/19 01:13 PM
Red Pill Parenting?I'm 28. I wasn't allowed to have a smart phone as a teen, & neither were my siblings, who both did sports & were extremely popular. I was weird in high school because of my own nerdiness, not because of my lack of a smart phone. I didn't get Facebook until I was 19, outta high school & had my own apartment. Rather than buying me a smart phone because "everyone else has one!" my parents taught me responsibility by having me get a job, pick out my own phone & pay the bill. Sure, it wasn't a smart … | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/06/19 10:33 PM
Red Pill Parenting? If their peers are going to ostracize them for something as stupid as not having a smart phone, then they're shit peers that don't deserve to have friends anyways. I didn't have a smart phone when all my friends did, & they didn't give a shit. I got a basic phone for calls, texts & picture messages at 17 when I was driving & got a job. I bought my first smart phone at 20. No one ostracized me, & I turned out just fine. Children do not not to be awarded the latest & greatest technology just for e… | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/06/19 01:48 PM
Red Pill Parenting?Agreed! Although my husband & I are going to take it a step further & say no smart phones until age 18, & they can buy their own & pay the bill. They'll get a basic phone for calls/ texts when they learn to drive. I didn't get a smart phone until I was 20, & I don't think any kids of mine need a smart phone as a child. | /r/RedPillWomen | 31/05/19 03:34 PM

Are Moms Doomed to Get Fat?I read somewhere that the deep south is the most obese area of the US. That could be why you're seeing it so commonly. | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/05/19 06:39 PM
What rules did your mom teach you about being ladylike or a good homemaker that have always stuck with you?🤣 possibly, but it's not as big of an issue where we live- rural area. | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/05/19 12:55 PM
What rules did your mom teach you about being ladylike or a good homemaker that have always stuck with you?My mom always made us clean the house before we went on vacation. As kids, we hated it, & often whined & said it would still be there when we got home. Now, as an adult, I totally get it. Coming home to a clean house is so much more relaxing than coming home to a dirty one! | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/05/19 05:26 AM
Beauty on a dimeDollar Store nail polish is so much better than people give it credit for! I paint my toes with it, & they'll last a month! | /r/RedPillWomen | 12/02/19 03:26 PM
Beauty on a dimeIf you know someone who is an Avon rep (without being a complete psycho MLM cultist, lol) I LOVE their eyeshadow & eyeliner. My mom is a rep, so I get most of my beauty needs from her. I also have a thing for their jewelry... 😜 | /r/RedPillWomen | 12/02/19 06:13 AM
How do you increase your feminine energy? One of the things that helped me get my mojo back after having been sick on & off for over a month (I work in a school- those little kids are little walking plague viruses) was to go get my hair done. I had a trim & style, & instead of going home & going back to my old, somewhat lax, way of taking care of my hair, I actually paid attention to the products the stylist used & bought some for myself. No more dry hair for me! | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/01/19 02:52 AM
What does your captain do that makes you feel protected? He literally stood up to his mother for my sake. When we first started dating, MIL didn't like me much, & even went so far to try & break us up. When he decided his mother wasn't going to win the battle, and that he & I were getting married regardless of how she felt, he no longer allowed her to speak ill of me, & even went so far as to tell me that if his mother didn't get over herself, that he would cut her out of his life & not look back. Hearing him say that made me believe that if he would … | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/01/19 02:48 AM
Just curious about the first time you and your captain said “I love you.” Who said it first? My sweet husband said it first. We had only been talking to each other over Skype for about a month after meeting online. We hadn't even met in person yet. I had just divorced earlier that year, & wanted to be VERY cautious getting into another relationship. He knew this, but after all our late night conversations, he threw caution to the wind. He knew he loved me, & even though i didn't really want to make it official until we met in person, I knew I loved him too. He told me he didn't care; he… | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/01/19 01:38 AM

When Did You Know It Was Over? You're welcome. That's not very nice the way he puts you down about your income. If you're trying to be in a more traditional relationship, and he wants a traditional woman, then, yes, you're going to make less than him. And it's not a competition. People that lord their income over other's... that's just immature behavior. I think some women seem to confuse high value with high earning. Just because a guy makes lots of money, or has a good career, doesn't mean he's high value, at least not RMV.… | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/09/18 01:15 PM
When Did You Know It Was Over?Yes, trust me- if your family knows it's going downhill, chances are they'll be happy for you. I know mine was. My grandma even said "He was never good for you anyway". Well darn it, grandma, why didn't you tell me sooner! Lol. Honestly, I think they'd be happier knowing you're safe & happy, rather than worrying about you. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/09/18 01:02 PM
What I look for in a man: Husband MaterialI feel the same way about my hubby. I'm very proud of him & how hard he's worked, & continues to work. I've enjoyed watching him grow over the last 3 years, and I too, am excited to see what he becomes! 😀 | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/09/18 10:27 PM
When Did You Know It Was Over?I second the feeling of freedom after leaving a bad relationship! You won't be lonely forever. Your family isn't going to hate you (at least they shouldn't). You'll have time to heal, work on yourself, & become the woman that attracts the man you're looking for. You'll finally be able to breath- that's how I felt after my divorce. I'm now married to a wonderful man. The heartache doesn't last, OP. ♡ | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/09/18 09:06 PM
When Did You Know It Was Over?I'm so sorry, dear- this sounds tough. I was in a rough spot at your age as well, so I really feel for you. The lying & the anger are both big "no" items in my book, and I dealt with that in several relationships when I was your age. My first bf I dated from age 17-19 was a very angry, immature guy who spent his money like crazy, borrowed from me without repaying, & often took his anger out on me- yelling, screaming, etc. The night I knew it was over, though, was when i had just moved outta my p… | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/09/18 09:01 PM
What I look for in a man: Husband MaterialI loved this part too. When my husband & I started dating, he didn't have much- in fact, he was still living with his parents & working for their business. But I saw the drive he possessed, & even though we were stretched pretty thin the first 2 years together, through my husband's determination & work ethic, we are now MUCH more comfortable. I know he will continue to reach higher & be an excellent provider :) | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/09/18 08:39 PM
What I look for in a man: Husband MaterialPREACH! So much "yes" all this! These are the questions you need to ask yourself in any relationship if you want it to last! With my ex, it was a solid "no" to all this, hence why the marriage failed. I WISH my mother had gone over some of this with me as a teen! I was so naive when I entered the dating world, I messed up big time in my first marriage. Happy to say, I can answer "yes" to all these with my now husband ♡. | 2 | College fomoYes! I love all of this, & I see a lot of myself in what you said! Don't envy the three other girls and the attention they get, OP, - a lot of it is negative, & because you see yourself as a lower SMV than them, it could cause you to accept advances from "just any guy" because "he's as good as I can do" and that can get you into trouble! After several failed relationships & one failed marriage, I'm speaking from experience! | 2 | Do NOT give into wondering “what else is out there” (AKA hypergamy). A warning. You're welcome! Yes, I have lived a lot for someone who is just going on 28, but I'll be damned if I let it ruin my future! Good luck to you! | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/09/18 04:12 PM
My Boyfriend lied about his past...Oh no. Nopey nope nope! Lying is the biggest deal breaker for me. Ex husband was a habitual liar- everything from things he did in his past (why lie about the band you were in in college?) to make himself look cooler to lying about his online affair & stealing money from our account & playing dumb when I asked about it. I don't think pursuing a relationship worth this guy is a bad idea. | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/09/18 03:58 PM
Advice for meeting my boyfriend's parentsI've never been to college. I'm never going. My husband knew this when we met. I'm very educated in hands on, worldly, real life stuff, because I've been living on my own & working since I was 19. I am now, at 27, a professional artist, & hubby & I are living comfortably- owning a home, 3 cars, considering a family, etc. He only took a semester of college & had only ever worked the family business when we met. He now has a good job that will become a career. I'm not bashing college, but I will s… | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/09/18 03:48 PM
Do NOT give into wondering “what else is out there” (AKA hypergamy). A warning. We all make mistakes- some of us give into the hypergamy, some of us make different dumb choices (yo!- that's me). The important thing here is that you learned a lesson from said mistakes & don't plan on repeating them. I lost my v card at 17 to a guy I thought I was going to be with "foreveeeeerrrr". Spoiler alert- it didn't last past 2 years. We fought a lot, & the final straw was him coming at me with a raised fist during an argument. He didn't hit me, but that was the end. | 2 | The Best Books?"Created to be His Help Meet" by Debi Pearl. For those of us with a Christian background, it is a wonderful book that really helps women understand & appreciate their role in marriage. It also gave me a huge appreciation for my husband & his role in the marriage. Sure, my MIL did NOT like me when hubby & I first got together (she even tried breaking us up), but I'm glad she gave me the book & has since come around :) | /r/RedPillWomen | 30/08/18 12:28 AM

What are your favorite little perks of being married?Gosh, there are so many- I'm so blessed! But these are a few of my favorites (in no particular order): 1. Going to bed together every night. Rarely ever does one of us stay up & watch tv. We pretty much always climb into bed together, kiss, cuddle, & drift off to sleep together every night . I love the feeling of security ♡ 2. An amazing sex life because we are completely in love & totally trust each other. 3. Having someone to cook for, someone who appreciates it. 4. | 11 | What are some things women can do for men that they really appriciate?Any time he helps you, make sure to thank him. Wear his favorit outfit to dinner. Bring his food to him at the table or have his place set at mealtime. If he's so inclined, get his opinion on a hairstyle/color you're considering (hubby and I picked out together a color I'm going to get this fall). | 12 | How can I stop feeling sad about never getting male interest?Don't be sad about having to try online dating- it's where I met my husband. We have been together 3 years, married 2. The thing about quality men is, they're busy guys. They're not usually thinking about picking up women at the grocery store- they're there to get groceries. They're on a mission. You need to meet men in an environment that encourages a more flirty attitude. I understand not doing the party/bar scene; that's not my thing either as I'm not overly fond of drunk people. What you can… | /r/RedPillWomen | 15/08/18 02:50 PM
Does your SO have a say in what you wear?My husband prefers me in leggings, girly tops & boots. He's also good with the jeans/t-shirt look. He prefers both of those outfits over skirts/dresses. He likes me best with my hair up, I prefer myself hair down, so I alternate back & forth. He likes me to keep my toenails painted & appreciates that I wear jewelry. Sometimes, when we go out, he'll request a specific outfit. Over all, he likes my style, & usually tells me I look nice regardless of what I'm wearing ♡ | /r/RedPillWomen | 15/08/18 06:48 AM
Hobbies to overcome social anxiety during Nun ModeLol kayaking is so much fun. Hubby & just bought newer ones that are more stable & hold more weight so we can go into the mountains & handle rougher water & pack in camping gear. Can't wait until we get to plan a float / camp trip! The first couple times, it can be a little scary, but once you get your balance, it's awesome. That being said, I've seen some others mention getting rid of/having less stuff. I wholeheartedly agree. When hubby and I sold our larger, 4 bedroom house in town and downsized to a smaller, 3 bedroom house out of town, I had to get rid of SO. MUCH. I too, am grateful for the community. I think, in a sea of Blue Pill crap that is saturating other forms of social media, this is a breath of fresh air! | /r/RedPillWomen | 12/08/18 02:52 AM
| – | Gratitude: What are you thankful for?I am very thankful for my husband's new job. He was laid off in April, and that was tough financially. Thank God for the savings account! He has been at the new job about a month now, and he's loving it. The money is good, and he's really excited about moving up in the company. Can't wait to see where he goes! Very proud of him! | /r/RedPillWomen | 12/08/18 02:50 AM |
Why is it so difficult to STFU (even when you know better)? My mom used to always say "Your attitude is your choice". If I had a dollar for every time I heard that, I'd be retired now lol. But in all seriousness, you are not alone. I am a very vocal person, like, all the time. And I can also be a very emotional person. When those emotions come up, I have to CHOOSE not to act on them or say anything. It's hard, but the best thing to remember is that no one else decides your attitude. You do. | 6 | where do you/did you meet your high quality man?LOL, this reminds me of hubby and I. I was a paid member, and at the time I found him (I was doing some hardcore lurking, lol) he was not. I played as a kid, but it's definately something they need to show interest in. Most kids I know who's parents forced them into playing an instrument really resented that and pushed it as far away from themselves as possible as adults. Sometimes it's just a simple sandwich, sometimes it's homemade enchiladas, stir fry or BBQ pulled chicken. I've also made him pineapple upside down cake & thrown that in. | 2 | Is there any hope for a single mother?Every relationship is different, but I was raised to believe the "love your husband, love your kids" in that order. If the needs of your spouse are met, they're less likely to leave you, & when their needs are met, so too will the needs of the children be met. If you married before the kids were born, then they exist because of the marriage, the marriage doesn't exist because of them. Before you were parents, you were spouses. Is there a pastor or elder of the church you can trust that your husband respects & would be comfortable speaking with? | 3 | In what ways did you change your appearance for your SO?My hubby is the same way. He doesn't like the full face mask of makeup- he says it looks really fake because most women don't properly apply it. Also, he doesn't like the idea of not really being about to tell what I look like. Plus, I hate the feeling of covering my whole face. I did it for a play in high school (stage makeup is very extreme) & felt like I was suffocating. I only play up my eyes & occasionally add a little lip color. | /r/RedPillWomen | 22/07/18 03:04 PM

If he wants to, he can restrain me with one arm, which is funny when we're playing, until I have to pee lol. | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/05/18 04:26 PM |
What is the mix of your mate?Sounds like my hubby ♡ he is a wonderful mix of the 2. He is also not always liked or understood by people until they get to know him- he is often accused of being arrogant. He's very confident in who he is& what he wants, & that intimidates a lot of beta males & the women used to dealing with betas. | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/05/18 01:55 AM
What kind of nails do you have?I paint my toenails for hubby in the summertime, because as soon as it warms up, you can't get me to wear real shoes lol. My finger nails I keep as short as possible without making them look like nubs, because I'm an artist & work a lot with my hands & find that long, painted nails get in the way. Husband doesn't mind, as long as my toes are pretty lol. | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/05/18 01:49 AM
