The status quo of two perceived rapists on campus by women. Clearly women are upset about this. I don't understand why you can't admit that the university doing nothing, or not looking into this, is better than them actively looking into it.

They could amp up security. They could be proactive about informing students and educating them on being safe. If the women don't want to press charges and they truly believe they are telling the truth, they can be mindful of the student. There is a lot the university can do. Turning a blind eye because they can't force the women to press charges isn't going to do anything but continue the status quo on their campus. And from the sound of it, the students aren't happy with the status quo.

That's just it, though. When I was 14 years old, if a guy had slept with his hot 30 year old teacher, he wouldn't have been emotionally scarred or damaged, he would have felt awesome, and his friends would have worshipped him. There is definitely a double standard, but I'm not sure you can even avoid a double standard on this one. The kid isn't going to grow up with any sort of baggage because of this. In fact, the publicity from it might hurt him more than if she had just kept it to herself.

I don't get this article either. It's simple. She doesn't have custody, so he shouldn't be legally obligated to pay her money to support a child she doesn't have to support. Her losing her house is irrelevant. Also, they don't attribute the quote to anybody, but saying that since he makes a half million a month that he's complaining about $8000 is ridiculous. Come to think of it, I could use 8 grand a month and since he makes half a million a month, why not just order him to give me 8 grand, too…

This woman has kids? In what would does she think she should be given less of a sentence because she has kids? She's not fit to be a mother. Not when you commit a crime like this. It's unbelievable that the only thing she's guilty of is purgery according to the court system. There should be laws against sending an innocent man to jail for three years. If you want rapists brought to justice, why didn't you mention the university should investigate the allegations that these allegations to potentially bring a potential rapist to justice? Why did you only take one side, that these men have been potentially harmed and ignoring the fact that these women have been potentially harmed? You can say what you want now, but you didn't say any of those things in the letter you wrote.

No, but they will have their breasts removed. In the cases where an adult woman has sex with a male who is a minor, her sexuality (aka her breasts) were used as a weapon against the minor.
