Women in their 40s tend to have low sexual market value, guys in their early 20s tend to have low sexual market value, both generally speaking. It's a perfect match.

Thank God, I live in a big metro in CA, where it seems the norm for guys to be in their 30s and single, especially if you make good money and ambitious. I used to live in a decent sized city in a generally conservative state more in the middle of the country and it seemed all the natives got married by 25. Most of the girls I dated in that period were other transplants.

Eh, if you live in a big metro like LA, a lot of different types of guys are single past 30, so I would only stereotype your location and not guys in general.

I agree with you, so while most men are not working crazy hours, the OP probably works in a high paying field and likely used his higher than average income to attract a wife who is materialistic and more demanding than the average woman. The OPs coworkers are probably in the same boat as him.

The 40 year old still wants and in many cases can still date the mid/late 20s girl, a lot factors are at play, of course. In a way yes you are correct, but the average 30 yo woman rushing to settle down for marriage and kids isnt going for the 40 yo man who is likely done having kids and/or doesn't want to get married again. Who does the 30 yo women date when high caliber guys her age or a bit older are dating younger? Answer: she is going to have to lower her standards of she wants to find some…

Single by choice I would say, consumed with starting a business right now etc. Height by itself doesn't dictate your dating life but it definitely helps to attract the opposite sex. About you being 6'6, Honestly, I don't assume anything about anyone particular single individual. I do make generalizations of a group of people based on what I see in my real life but never an individual.

I would say as they get into their 30s, it gets exponentially harder, tall guys are getting scooped up left and right and the high caliber tall guys remaining have their choice of dating short, tall and everything in between not to mention girls younger then them.

You don't need to be able to match with 300 girls in 3-4 hours to be successful. Yes, its competitive in LA, I know because I live here. If you are decent looking are you not getting any matches at all? Maybe it's your pics? Tinder should only be one avenue, I know you approach how about expanding your social circle?

I used to live in NYC and NYC does have more attractive women than LA but only because NYC is a larger city and a larger single female to single male ratio. LA has more attractive women based on per capita population imo. Don't even start with an "LA 9 is a NYC 6" , come on bruh. I get your frustration but let's be realistic here. Makes me wonder where you are going to meet girls. Anyways, the Hollywood culture permeates throughout southern California to an extent with the epicenter being in Wes…

I ask because your post I responded to sounds a lot like what I am also seeking. I agree finding a girl that hits all those bullet points can be difficult. I would agree with you being a 5-10% top guy.

I am new to the red pill, so please apologize if I am off base asking these questions. Did/do you feel you got her best? And would you consider yourself a beta bux? I am not asking to be condescending, I want to hear your logic in accordance with red/purple theory.

The sigma almost describes me to a T. Didn't even know this was a thing, all I hear people talk about usually is alpha or beta. In another post, you talk about writing a fantasy novel, I think my thing is starting an online ecommerce biz. I think I am more of an ambivert but I can also be very introverted at times.

To begin with, if you live in a big metro, there is no such thing as leftover 30s guys, maybe leftover 30s women, maybe, but this label does not exist for guys in large metros in their 30s. From my observations, the leftover 30s women are doing a lot less passing by on the leftover 30s guys than you think. It can be difficult for the "leftover" 30s women to find someone their own age, what tends to happen is they get bombarded online by guys much older (divorcees/single dads) or younger (milf hu…

Couldnt have said it better myself. Hookup girls are a dime a dozen. Wanna find an attractive, intelligent, LTR caliber girl that shares the same values as you and half the same interests as you? This will take A LOT of time. Very true.

A lot has to do with a lack of assertiveness, style and a lack of social skills but these guys do eventually find an LTR, it may not be with someone ideal but yes they do find someone eventually. I know of someone in particular, mid 30s guy, who was a decent guy, good job but did not have good fashion sense (dressed nerdy) and was unwilling to improve his social skills. He told me he got zero matches on dating apps. He met a 39/40 yo woman at a meetup. At that age you can imagine, she was chasin…

How reliable a spouse is she really if she divorced a guy she chose to marry, a lot of unknown variables there. Likewise, a 40 yo woman never married, no kids may have her own issues as well. Pick your poison.

Let me guess, you live in a small town or city? I live in the Los Angeles metro where guys very typically will start to settle down mid 30s to early 40s. Why? If guys have a good career and are genrally high caliber they can very easily still date much younger.

Me: Mid 30s, attractive, tall, well paying career, no kids, never married etc. Late 30s+: Rarely date this group, all of the women I date in this category look younger and i dont find out their age until we hang out. These women have seem to almost given up on finding a life partner and have almost zero fucks to give about the whole dating experience. There is no chase here, if you want to have sex with them you can, very easily. Mid 30s women: I can pretty much have my pick of the litter. Most …

Some guys will date down slightly as far as looks if she is wife material. With that said, very unlikely a guy will date some frumpy chick but who would make a great mom. You have to remember as guys get older and want to settle down their dating pool expands and they have a easier time selecting a life partner, so dating down to find a good girl doesnt always happen.

I think marriage is best for those who plan to have children, a family etc. That is one of my goals in life, so yes marriage is part of my future life plans. It is possible to have a successful marriage, you have to screen like crazy for a good girl and put in the work, but I think the outcome/benefit of having great kids and a wife that truly love you is worth it.

I dont think so. Its definitely a dating strategy that works, it may be their only way to secure a high caliber marriage partner.

Probably some red flags. Let me explain. Lets say she was with a guy for 10 years, for her entire 20s, and not married. If married and divorced that would be an automatic deal breaker for me. But lets say she wanted marriage and he didnt, why be with someone for 10 years, more or less giving him your best years? I just see a lot of commitment issues either way, with her picking a guy (and staying with him) that didnt want to commit or maybe he did want to commit but she wasnt into marriage. So w…

I agree for the most part, for girls being 30 and single is kind of a red flag that you werent able to find a high quality guy in your 20s, not so much for a guy though. BUT if she has been working on her career AND has a very low partner count, I would date her if she was 30. I guess it all depends on WHAT she was doing with her time in her 20s.

Yes this happens a lot, women stop being sexy when then get married and have kids, often gaining weight, cutting their hair shorter and dressing in less tight fitting clothes. Best to find a girl who has a long history of working out and eating healthy but also discussing this before marriage and letting her know your expectations.

Maybe i am just old school but I ask girls I date (not on the first date) about their sexual history, i dont want to know details, but I do want to find out their values and why they lived a certain lifestyle whether it be they had sex with 50 or 2 guys. Why do I want to know this? Well if I am going to invest in a LTR, i want to know what I am investing in.

I should have stated early 20s in my original post. Most early 20s guys dont marry the girl they date while in their early 20s. I live in the Los Angeles metro and most guys dont marry until their 30s it seems, usually their GFs are younger and in their 20s, some guys marry same age but more often the girl is younger by at least 1-2 years. People tend to get married later in life here in southern California and this I think creates the situation OP is talking about. I think the OP is talking abo…

In a big metro, more than likely the girl you date when you are in your 20s is not the one you will marry, it can happen but a lower percentage of this takes place. I can see this happening on smaller cities/towns though.

I have dated girls at work, my advice dont date someone who works in your department. Do date someone who works in another department on the otherside of the building. How do you meet girls that work in a different department? In the common areas like cafeterias or at corporate events like fundraisers, donation drives etc.

Guys are more than welcome to have their own beliefs, but i think a good portion of the MGTOW crowd is giving up on women prematurely, there are a lot of high quality girls out there, you have to continuously work on yourself and gain self knowledge and be willing to put the time and effort to find the good girls out there.

I think TRP advice is just another name for self improvement. So yes it does help guys out. I have never really followed "TRP advice" but sure there have been times I have lost weight and got into shape, became a better dresser, worked on social skills by forcing myself out of my comfort zone. I think that is just old fashioned self improvement for guys. People were doing this before the internet. I also think there is a ceiling for who guys can attract. Oops sorry, did not read the initial post thoroughly, thought you were a guy, I would focus on your health/fitness entirely, you can accomplish a lot in say 3-4 months if you focus. Not sure where you live but in a large metro you will have of course more options. This helps TREMENDOUSLY. The advice i give to females 30+ friends is to really sit down and determine your dealbreakers and what are the nice to haves in a partner. I would take a break from dating and just focus on yourself, raising you SMV. If your overweight, start hitting the gym and eating right. If you are broke, work on your career etc. If you need social skills then work on that. If you are in good shape and have a good job AND lets say you are not the most attractive guy, you could still be a 7/10, higher if you make more money etc.

If a guy is in his early 40s, no kids, no divorces, in good shape, with a good career making good money,is physically attractive and looking to settle down, he will get interest from girls age 25-29. Fair enough, as a software dev? working in an analytical field, where one is likely educated and always open to learning of course, as demanded by your profession, you are not interested in dating others that have the same traits as you, thats sounds unusual but I will accept it if you say so. If you had a sugar daddy, thats great. I dont think i would call myself a sugar daddy, i dont pay other people's bills and when i took an ex gf for a vacation it was for her bday. I want to see that study. I might be an anomoly but I (mid 30s male) look the same if not better than I did when I was in my 20s, the only difference now is that i make 100K+ and am much wiser now. I want to settle down and its not because my looks have faded. I dont expect to marry a virgin but also dont want someone who has been around the block. Sounds like the guy you married is likely a lot better looking than you (whether you are an 8 or 6), if you say he is poor. You likely picked a more attractive guy vs more of a provider because you dont need a provider with the income you earn AND/OR maybe it was difficult to find a high earner who makes similar to you as they could very easily date younger. I agree to disagree with you, a womens looks are there currency and their looks will determine who they end up marrying, where they live, if they become a homemaker or continue to work etc. A single womens looks are very important to her. The "wall" is real my friend. A woman who cant snag the same type of guy, which can typically mean a guy with the same amount of resources or more, is a very big deal for women who are past their primes and want to settle down. Any woman in their 30s who wants to settle down, all things equal, would go for a guy making 100k vs 40k. The problem is the guy making 100k+ is probably going to be dating younger and she is left with the guy making 40k. This may not be a huge deal to you but trust me no…

Yes, true, women will have to lower their standards a bit if they want commitment and are past their prime. The laundry list of qualities start to slowly go out the window, such as he is not tall but taller than me, from he isnt educated with a good job to he is a hard worker with a stable job. This is what i have seen around me for the 30 something women in the LA metro.

This is 100% accurate. Women past their prime can ALWAYS get sex, even much past their prime. Its funny to hear women brag about the hot young guys she is having sex with but they dont understand these guys are only with her because of sex, once the sex stops, theses guys are gone QUICK.

Females tend to vote democrat/liberal when they are young and single as the government has the ability to redistribute wealth i.e. raising taxes for hardworking people and giving these funds to those in need via social programs. The idea of helping people through social programs is very much in line with female nature. When women get married they tend to be more opposed to the goverment raising taxes i.e. taking money out of their husbands paycheck. When women stay single they tend to vote liber…

No, and dont recommend it, had a friend move out of country for his wifes once in a lifetime dream job, turns out his career is suffering greatly, to the tune of that he is underemployed. For women, a lot of aging can be seen in the lower body, 24 yo girls have a much more firm booty and their overall body is much more "tighter" compared to their counterparts in their 30s.

Personally, I dont date 20 year olds because they can be immature, not on there own yet and not even of legal drinking age, so that can limit activities. I would much rather date someone the youngest 23 or so who is out of college and living on their own , has a job etc. To answer your question though, I know guys who have met 20 years olds at things like festivals/concerts, raves, college sporting events and of course college bars.

You sound young, very young. If you have your shit together, age doesnt matter so much, you can easily date 10-12 years younger, even younger if you put yourself in the right social situations.
