Don't forget to STRETCH! I know a few people who ruptured discs squatting because of low ankle mobility or tight-hamstrings. Even with low weight on the bar, poor form in the squat can be made worse by tight muscles, leading to your lower back being too rounded, and a herniated disc/lifetime of pain. As you go lower, you will feel tightness, that's a good limit. Get more flexible before you try to go all they way down.
