https://ajph.aphapublications.org/doi/full/10.2105/AJPH.2005.079020 Among relationships with nonreciprocal violence, women were reported to be the perpetrator in a majority of cases (70.7%), as reported by both women (67.7%) and men (74.9%). [...] Our findings show that reciprocal violence was about as common as nonreciprocal violence in this national sample of young adults, with about half of violent relationships being characterized by reciprocal violence. More importantly, we found that viole…

I wrote that you said that, in response to your reply that stated: All I'm saying is that abuse in the home can take several forms. Emotional abuse and manipulation is every bit as important as physical violence. You're focusing on semantics rather than the point

Oh I see you Google violence? You listed the second definition but not the first because you're an intellectually dishonest fuck. The first definition Google gives: noun behavior involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something. The second definition Google gives: what you wrote. The legal definition Google gives: LAW the unlawful exercise of physical force or intimidation by the exhibition of such force

I corrected your point on violence and I was met with your reply that I was discounting the importance of nonphysical abuse, which I was not and I took offence to because anyone who cares about the topic would feel, as I do, that all abuse is serious. I didn't take kindly to that assertion and I explained to you that I specifically addressed physical violence because your post said physical violence.

I'm not combative; I'm just accurately reading into your torsion of my words. You are now acting like I am dismissing other forms of abuse, in order to appear more fair than I am. In fact, I was very specific in my point against your specific claim regarding violence. You said men resort to physical violence more. I said that women do. You seem to get confused when the word domestic is put in front of violence because you are muddying the waters by conflating violence and general domestic abuse.…

You said domestic abuse. I said domestic violence (dv). Seems you're looking for a reason to say "yeah but" Violence is physical. Anything nonphysical can still be abuse but doesn't count as domestic violence.

No doubt, physical violence is more often resorted to by men, but emotional violence is more often resorted to by women, and both sexes are fully capable of either. Is that why 70% of one sided dv is perpetrated by a woman?

Oh, you mean like every father whose wages are garnished to pay for a lavish lifestyle of a person to whom he's no longer married? And no, "lavish lifestyle" does not include paying for the tuition/comfort of children.

The majority of women who agree that men are mistreated and that women are highly privileged in Western society are good looking (ie they don't need this bullshit neo-feminist privilege that exists now in order to feel equally treated). What the ugly women don't realize is that ugly men are treated just as poorly, too, and in fact completely ridiculed in the media, unlike ugly women whose feelings tend to be protected from insults. I think that's the main reason why it's usually attractive women…

It's almost like judges in an extremely diverse (and world's largest) democracy hold diverse opinions about things.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
