How ironic is it that you used cigarettes as an example. I hate to say it but you're to dumb to understand the concept of addiction being the problem, not the activity. This conversation is over.

So is chess. One more elo rating, one more move, one more game. So is gym. One more rep, one more set. Then repeat again tomorrow. It's never ending. I see that you're still missing the point. So I'll repeat it again. It's not the activity or entertainment that ruins your self development. It's the addiction to said activity. I hope you get it now because if you don't then I have no idea how else to explain it to you.

Your tldr applies to anything. Everything in moderation is key. Gaming isn't the issue. It's the addiction.

Funny you say that. Although I did play the game. 2-4 hours total at best. My name is not based off that. It's just some tag name i created years ago when i started gaming. It just stuck as my username. Anyway, I probably play 5 to 10 hours a week. And you know what I agree with almost everything OP said. But you see, entertainment is entertainment. Be that gaming, guitar, chess, drawing, heck I even consider gym as leisure time. It's not possible to be on full throttle for the whole day everyda…

I've done all of these. But there are two things i fuck up royally on. One is sonetimes i forget to escalate during convo. And the other one is that i assume attraction a bit too much i forget that I need to build rapport. Got any advice for those?

Because it's an unconscious way of deciding who's the better alpha between the one she's dating and OP. why do you think she started warming up when they got on the car? OP maintained frame and that showed her who.

The sole reason why TRP is looked down upon is because of that selfish mentality that pisses me the fuck off. Standing your ground and being as selfish little prick are totally two different things. He fuckking married her. Spent 30 years of her life with Mel. Delivered seven fucking kids. Seven... Fucking... Kids... People saying she didn't deserve a single fucking dime of Mel's money is just dumb.

That last line was exactly what changed my life for the better 2 years ago. "Instead of observing people to know them, engage them in a conversation instead."

Do you think it's appropriate that I used this to have a girl think it and leave me? I know it sound very manipulative but I had nothing better to do but test if pedestalizing actually works.

The only thing I could suggest to you is online dating. Day game at 43 is gonna be unfavorable for you albeit possible. But if you really wanted to, attend social gatherings or any public places where people come and go. I don't know if you want someone of similar age or younger. Depends on the age of girls you want really.

I have never broken down this weakness of mine to something like this and even you came up with a physical routine solution to practice from and make a habit of. That is very much what I needed. I'm by no means a conversationalist expert but I think I can handle myself well if the girl is also putting something in the conversation as to not make it feel like an interrogation. I can approach anyone and everyone with zero anxiety if I want to talk to them. The real problem only arises from the poi…

I've been doing every single one. Except escalating... For some reason I lose myself at the part where you ask the girl out. I smile at everyone, Eye contact with anyone while smiling, Heys to the friendly bunch. 4-5 time a day of gym with a strong passion for it. Zero fear of talking in a loud crowd full of people to everyone and anyone who comes close. I groom myself. Hair done every single day. I tease, I flirt, and I DHV, but when it comes to that one girl that I actually like, I choke and I…

So much beta in this. But if you really wanted an aswer, Just say you have to be somewhere at this time and say that you'd love to stay but really have to go then tell her ou'd love to meet again. Doesn't have to be necessarily after the kiss.

Starting to think that's it's a switch that you can just turn on would be your biggest first step. Because it is just a switch you turn on.

The point is not whether you'll never get rejected or not. There will ALWAYS be someone who would not like you whatever you do. The point is that it works. Nothing is ever a foolproof plan.

Personally, if you don't have much time in your hands, you're left with texting as a great way to build rapport. But this is only effective if she texts you more often than you would text her. Otherwise, just meet up with her and build something from there. Some people are texters but not everyone.

Too bad there is no text game. Just something that says something about texting when and where to meet up nothing else. Honestly as a general rule for myself, I only text a lot when she texts back a lot. If you don't get a reply get the message. She received it but didn't want to reply. Texting her again hoping to get a reply just comes off needy.

I would seriously suggest the 100 rejection challenge. Not just girls but pretty much by anyone at anything. This is really a mentality problem where the state of mind is controlled by no one else but you. Nothing and no one else will be able to change how you think but yourself. I used to have this problem. I guess for me, what i prioritize was the develop the confidence needed to be able to accept rejection because lets admit it, nobody in this world has never been rejected.

You don't have to think if it's a good idea to say something. that's overanalyzing.

Here in Canada, it's normal to be apologetic. You can still be alpha either way.

You want to be her hero. You want to save her from the misery that she is in. In certain situation you might succeed. In others, you will fail and get dragged down along with the emotional trauma that they will bring you. The risk is yours to take. I'm not going to be like the others that tell you whether you should go for her or not because I've been in a hero situation like this before and guess what, it broke me. Now I'm just trying to regain my old self together And slowly picking up where I…

But the reason I go to the gym is because I know it'll make me look better... In other peoples eyes.ಠ_ಠ I think I need to set my priorities straight next year.

I prefer to call my self an observer. Not only do I try to observer people, I observe little details everywhere I go. But the thing is, after a while, I've convinced myself that I'll most likely never see this people again so who cares what they'll think? After a few days they wouldn't even remember me.
