Ive never heard women calling David Harbour gorgeous, but he has such a commanding presence that I bet most would pick him over some gorgeous chad stereotype once they got talking. Or maybe I just like David harbour a lot..

Current job is service desk lead with home depot. Short term looking for any work that will pay decent and have me home enough to raise my son and maintain my relationship with my ltr. If beggars could be choosers, the last year has taught me I prefer hard stimulating and creative work over easy mindless busy work. Long term I'm quite interested in Biomedical Engineering but that's quite far away. A bachelors in electrical engineering would steer me in the right direction while giving me a wide …

That's fine. I do see an issue though when someone believes the good results they are getting are due to X so they tell people here to do X, when X may not actually be the reason they are getting good results.

e but also he might’ve gotten her if I just didn’t do nuffin If all it takes is 5 minutes without your presence for her to shack up with another guy then it sounds like a pretty terrible situation to get emotionally invested in. Nothing wrong with putting energy into wanting to get the most out of life, but try to avoid letting your own hamster run wild. Put that energy into questions about yourself and what you could be doing to better your life regardless of anyone else. Being new to this it's…

No, it's not beta to have a girl leave you because there will always be someone out their with a higher SMV in the context of the situation so anything is possible, remember it's just your turn. The beta thing would be if you reacted poorly like if someone took your girl and you tried chasing her or confronting him, or if the reason she left was because you were acting beta to begin with. But forget the whole alpha/beta shit. Just ask yourself this everytime you have a decision to make - how is …

I think it's also good for medical history. Someone can think it's their child and doctors could have a better time possibly diagnosing things with the correct family medical history.

Something that's helped me is realizing that part of killing your ego is to realize we aren't so different. While you realize the nice guy BP behaviors don't get you what you want, you seem like you still wish the world worked in a way that favored those behaviors. You still have more unplugging to do before the anger can go away. But at the end of the day you are no better than them, you want something and you are mad you can't get it. Should someone be truthful or just only to receive a reward…

Training so far has been memorizing scripts, and being out in the field watching how they do it. My trainer has been great to watch, but he goes fairly off script and watching isn't the same as doing. Id rather be in a room with them grinding it out practicing rebuttals and being quick on my feet. Learning the product has mostly been teaching myself by constantly asking questions.

Ill give the tumeric a shot. I massage my scalp just because it's a bit sore sometimes (it's like I can feel the dht strangling my hair follicles). I figured anything else isn't going to save it unless i get on procepia and would just be buying myself little time to eventually shave it anyway. Im sure those things all help a lot though for people who are actively medicating. There's a difference between knowing something is good and wanting others to agree so you feel good VS being unsure on your decisions and asking for a second opinion. Good captains probably learn new sailing tips from a port or two.

if you don't act to address issues as immediately as possible the impact of your correction is greatly diminished This is something I have problems with. I still resort to STFU a lot with bigger shit tests. Sometimes im quick, sometimes I get caught off guard (I should aim to never be off guard, but it happens) and know that whatever I decide to do will be tainted with butthurt/validation seeking/Deering ect. so STFU yields the best possible outcome for me when that happens. Im not married. I don't want to be married for any reason other than legal/monetary/tax benefits and ways it can help my child which I need to read up on. As far as being with her forever, I'm not sure. If she continues being valuable while I own my shit then I think it would be good. I wanted kids later in life when I could be better prepared but then again I'm sure most people would feel this way. Now was definitely an "accident". I haven't done everything I want to do in life. I've been doing bjj for 4 months now. Aside from the confidence built from the techniques, the ego death and physical benefits, it's also just been a good way to hang out with a bunch of cool dudes who you may not have ever had enough in common with to meet otherwise. Cops, fighters, accountants, salesmen, tough guys, smart guys all there helping each other learn how to turn another human being into an unconcious ragdoll. I love it

We've lived together for 4 years. We split everything 50/50. I have the more active social life, when she does want to go out she prefers me with her. She does think she is co-captain, or at least has for a long time (hence me seeking out and finding RP). When I've not been fucking up shit/comfort tests and have been a busy proactive person she tends to ramp them up a whole lot, I've stayed in my frame and she eventually catches up. The problem is once she's behaving the way I enjoy, I get too c…

Ive been lifting since discovering TRP. Lifting was the best thing for putting me back on track each time. It's not that I want to run to the hills, I just know that I have to be more supportive of her during this time and I'm not wanting to preemptively let myself have any excuses for beta-ing it up.

Thanks for hitting that DEER. My motivation would be to help a fellow man in his struggle, reflect on how it's affecting him (i have an easier time seeing other people's problems than my own) and maybe the experience would help internalize some of these things in myself. But I see what you mean, if I look at that first reason closer, why do I want to help him? I'm not sure other than that I know it would make me feel good for some reason. Have to find that reason and make sure it's honest with m…

OYS 06/27/17 BODY Got some extra dumbell weights to use at home from my FM's cousins boyfriend (he isn't using them that's for sure.. more on that later). This is mostly because the only decent gym around here is a bit pricey and I still don't make shit for money (they had a free trial thing going on and that's what I've been lifting with until now). Getting the membership is definitely priority number one for me though. Trying my best to mimic and alter 5x5 where its needed with the dumbells an…

OYS 06/20/17 BODY First week into 5x5. OHP is significantly harder, but upon further reading that seems to be pretty normal. I'm now using myfitnesspal to control my diet. I decided to cut my skinny fat rather than bulk right now. Goals: drop 1.5lbs a week by sticking to and tracking diet, while hopefully getting some noon gains out of 5x5 or at least maintaining as much muscle mass as possible. I'm not sure what weight I'll end up at upon reaching a body fat percentage I'm happy with. I'm sure …

You're definitely right about me trying to bridge the gap, and it's because I know that an even harder no is in store for going straight for it. Not that I'm afraid of that now, rather I see it as a challenge to prove to myself I don't need sex and it gives me a chance to practice OI, but I am afraid of digging my hole deeper and being more unattractive by going a bit Rambo on the sex moves. I get this vision in my head of just picking her up and pinning her against a wall making out, carrying h…

Thanks. When it comes to OI though I have one hurdle and it's those lines "I told you last time I didn't want to be touched, you don't listen" or "If and when I want it, I will tell you so no more, okay?". I'm trying to think of a response that isn't: talking about sex, showing butthurt, responding in her frame, telling her what I want in a relationship (have to save that one for the higher level of dread it applied to). I just can't seem to think of one, and if I say nothing and just walk away …

/r/askMRP13/06/17 04:37 PM

About the question of why don't i listen, are you implying that i didnt listen to her body language instead of her words? At least thats what im taking from it and yes I'm now very aware of the issues my BP ignorance set up. The ass slapping used to not even be a thought of mine and just came naturally, we also used to be pretty sexually adventurous. OYS 06/12/17 I'll just stick with a regular format for now BODY: Took my set of dumbells and put both of their weights on just the one bar to lift more. Pushups have doubled in the last 3 weeks. I'm skinny fat so my arms have already received comments asking if I've been lifting weights (my arms were already pretty defined as it was so thank genetics there), but I'm really wanting the big masculine chest and to lose the gut and leftover fat for cheese grating abs. As far as eating goes, I've cut…

I'm having difficulty removing this behaviour myself, she messages me all day long and can see if I've read the messages or not so whenever I ignore them she will start bombarding me (why aren't you reading my messages?). I'll eventually read a hoard of messages because i want to check to make sure its nothing serious (even though she could just call me for serious things) so ill just say "I'm busy" and leave it at that but she won't stop. Improvement: For the first time in a long time I felt and stayed in my own Frame, while recognizing where I may have previously slipped, completely unknowingly. Having a really hard look about what it is I want for myself and making that the goal made things a lot clearer, and helped my confusion while getting too buried in the micro. Challenges: need to kill more of the DEERing. I get nervous Initiating with my FM knowing it will be shut down and repremanded. OI needs to be internalized, and to…

Also having trouble with that line. I've been doing an alright job with STFU but it's going into mute territory which I think will start losing its ability to disarm, and I know I can get something better out of those situations. The few lines I've thought of I've held back from saying thinking they sound a little ridiculous such as "well I did let you out of the dungeon today" or something like that.
/r/askMRP08/06/17 09:15 PM

Because thinking an interactive exercise that could be engaged in by all sorts of people in the community is a handout right? Unless you're talking about googling shit, and in that case you were the one bringing an argument so it's your job to back it up. It's not my problem if you can't.

Nothing from the summary of low quality posts is present here, and it also says that some posts won't fit the theory/FR format but pretty much feel free to be creative. But by all means, remove something people could benefit from. Maybe if you left it up you would see that this would actually be productive.
/r/MarriedRedPill01/06/17 02:28 AM

If frame was something we just had or didnt have then the people who have benefited from RP would have made no progress at all. If people lose frame, then couldn't not losing it be considered holding it? Pretty silly thing to nitpick. Link me something then. Why not be helpful? Did you not read the end of my post? I didn't put it there because it isn't exactly a question.
/r/MarriedRedPill01/06/17 12:57 AM

I don't see how this is considered low quality. I think this would be a good way to point out to people if their way of handling situations is off and help them get in the habit of fully internalizing this stuff to where it feels natural. If the whole point is to improve yourself, how is this not in line with that? Of course I understand that it's one thing to think of a response and type it out and another to think it in a tense moment while caught off guard, but every bit helps.
/r/MarriedRedPill01/06/17 12:46 AM

How have I oversold? I've stated where I'm at right now and what I'm working on accomplishing next and taking responsibility for it. I never claimed to be some super successful Chad, I mean, I am here after all. Is that not what this whole OYS thing is for? I didn't read anything that said you have to have made significant progress before you can post anything and help yourself categorize and keep track of your life.
/r/MarriedRedPill31/05/17 10:09 PM

I wouldn't be ready to lift heavier weights if I hadn't lifted the weights I have. I wouldn't have a new job set up if I didn't look for one and find a way in. Yeah it doesn't seem like much, but a step forward is the first of many.
/r/MarriedRedPill31/05/17 07:02 PM

OYS 05/30/17 Not sure what format I want to use, so I'm just going to try what I've seen others do with a spin on it to help me keep everything in perspective and if it sticks it sticks. CAPTAIN: I'm ready to upgrade from my home bench and dumbells to a gym membership. I feel better physically than I have in a long time and feel good knowing I'm sticking with my workout routine, even if it's only been for a month. New guy here. I appreciate this post a lot man, and while I can understand how you might feel down because you have a lot more ground to tread, I can't wait til I can look back in 6 months and list things in my life that have improved like you have. this gives me confidence.
/r/MarriedRedPill30/05/17 04:10 PM

Clearly Ive mentioned what im doing here. Lifting, getting a new job, taking care of responsibilities around the house that need done not just because she nags about it, and working not being so dependant on her validation. Since this was my first post on OYS I thought I'd show where I'm at right now. It may read like a victim puke but I intended it to read as me showing what I've allowed to happen to this point, and owning it.
/r/MarriedRedPill28/05/17 10:21 PM

Here goes, my first OYS post. I'm in my mid 20's, currently working full time at a minimum wage job. My lady also works the whole week making a slight bit more in the health field. We live in a decent sized apartment, splitting bills but more often than not she likes to pay them ahead of time and my checks are what we live off of and spend on hobbies/entertainment etc. A year ago I gained weight for the first time in my life, going from a skinny swimmers body to a dadbod. She told me she liked i…

Thanks. I feel like such an idiot when this stuff seems so obvious when it's pointed out like this.
/r/MarriedRedPill26/05/17 07:55 PM

So the whole creepy amateur porn video thing.. I see that now. I'm just torn between the idea of just being quiet and letting her be, or still actively trying to seduce her as stage 1 dread says to do. A couple other posts I've read also talk about not just completely stopping your attempts. Clearly I can't seduce actively anyway, but I'm just not sure how much to cut back.

Good comment, I needed a reminder to not be so rigid. With my little time with RP it seems logical that most of the actions people emulate (myself included) would come about naturally once the core principles are internalized
/r/TheRedPill25/05/17 01:01 AM

Thanks, that's what I thought.
/r/MarriedRedPill25/05/17 12:07 AM

That sounds good for later stage dread but right now I'm just trying to get some more self confidence and control. As for the jerking off, I agree. It started out as a foreplay thing that she enjoyed but now that it's turned into a "get your rocks off so we can go to bed" thing I'm absolutely stopping it. However the last person who commented made a good point in that I should make my sessions unknown to her
/r/MarriedRedPill24/05/17 11:59 PM

Good advice. Would you consider her asking me to not go out a shit test though? It felt like it, so I decided to go run and she's mad but I'll be okay.

It's not so much that I'm trying to make a formula, I just tried to cover the bases that people tend to suggest like clothes, looks, attitude etc. and the standard stuff changed her behaviour already. It might just be coincidence and since it was on my mind, her changes in behaviour made me feel like they were in reaction. Regardless, I agree and you're right but it's hard to flip the switch, so I'm just doing what I can to make myself feel good. It felt good to avoid seeking her attention the p…
/r/MarriedRedPill18/05/17 03:34 AM

Well the other nigh she asked if I would ever cheat on her, that coupled with a few other changes in her behaviour made it feel like dread. But it may not be.
/r/MarriedRedPill18/05/17 02:43 AM

I appreciate the reply, but I have two choices here, either go run or not, and whichever I do will have its own set of problems to deal with. Either it's go ahead and do it and suffer through nuclear shit tests that I may not be prepared for, or return home and lose as much ground as I've gained by being controlled with a simple "please don't go". I want to feel bad for abandoning her and I don't want to make her think I'm unreliable, but that's mixed in with the controlling aspect of her questi…
/r/MarriedRedPill18/05/17 02:25 AM

That's what my plan was but then I remembered the last time I did this and for that times specific circumstances I do believe I was in the wrong for not wanting to comfort her, she managed to get past it at the time but had asked the next time she begged me to stay somewhere just to give her the one pass and I agreed. I forgot about it up until now and realized I fucked myself there. So it's either go out and lose her comfort and trust with me, or stay and lose control. I definitely don't want t…

/r/MarriedRedPill18/05/17 02:10 AM

I'd I didn't over think shit I probably would have just become as bluepill as they come without realizing it. I was skinny attractive, gained weight, got a little chubby, turning that to muscle currently. I a strong jaw line, aesthetic facial hair in a Johnny Depp kind of style. As I said I'm new to this so i wouldn't say Rambo changes but steadily getting there, and throughout my bluepill moments I've always challenged her on shit I disagreed with, and never gave in to something I didn't feel I…
/r/MarriedRedPill17/05/17 01:51 AM

Thanks man, I was a skinnier guy when we got together, but I got a huge confidence boost around the time we started dating which allowed my previously anxious self to relax more and eat. I went from 130 to 180, and she told me she liked the little bit of chub I acquired, but part of me must have known some Blue pill shit was wanting to take place because the second I looked in the mirror and saw a dude with chub rather than just a healthy weight I started lifting (this was before I found rp). By back up until she's ready, do you mean ease down on the sexual playfulness until I've gained more value through dread, lifting etc.? Maybe work on myself enough to get her to start initiating those things, and then I'm more in the clear?
/r/MarriedRedPill17/05/17 01:33 AM

If her anger.. or rather let's say discomfort, at me being sexual outside of sex itself continues, will she not just start associating the two and cause me to lose value drastically?

So are you suggesting that the damage here is done and I need a different approach? I'd really appreciate something constructive.
/r/MarriedRedPill17/05/17 01:26 AM

Well it feels like it went from what you describe a stud gets from it to not so much anymore. I may have gone a bit overboard with it and made jokes or references too often which could come across as childish so I can see how it would change her views on it. I was never too public about it though and I never did it to "show off" as I'm kind of uncomfortable with the idea of public affection for the sake of onlookers as that feels like what an insecure person would do. What would you advise? Tone…
/r/MarriedRedPill17/05/17 01:24 AM

I've been working on it but it's a little slow starting off. Only options right now are if some girls I talk to texting me when she's next to me and sees my phone or when we are out at the bar or something where I can talk to others in front of her. While I work on that stuff and lifting, I need to make sure I don't mess up and reply to her being upset with something blue pill but I'm not exactly sure which response is the right one. When she gets mad do I pass it off and risk her staying mad at…
/r/MarriedRedPill16/05/17 03:09 AM

Thanks man. Glad we could get something out of thus, and by the way you talk I would imagine that I am younger.
/r/askTRP26/04/17 03:47 AM

Actually I did leave out that she told me her cousin did that though
/r/askTRP26/04/17 03:17 AM

Thanks for the explained response. In genuinely not trying to receive comments that just try to to shelter me, but clearly I'm in a situation where if I was to do something it's too late. If I made a mistake by letting it go then I'm looking for damage control options. I really do appreciate the response and I'll definitely look into the whole exposure thing. I just don't care for people blatantly being like "dude she totally fucked him" because I can't do anything with that information. That do…
/r/askTRP26/04/17 03:14 AM

So girlfriends shouldn't ever hang out with male friends alone? The only the thing that's different between this and seeing a movie with a group of people is the seclusion.. so the fact that they were secluded instantly means i shouldn't trust her because it shows I'll intention? and not because that activity requires you to be out in the woods and is a free fun activity?
/r/askTRP26/04/17 01:44 AM

If I had female friends that wanted to go mudding and my cousin came over and wanted to do something for the day I would go do it, and I don't feel like that breaks any relationship boundaries. So what you're suggesting is that she couldn't have possibly wanted to go purely for the activity at hand, and that the second your girlfriend is alone with a man you shouldn't trust her. That sounds really insecure to me. I'm not saying believe blindly but the people commenting and saying it's wrong beca…
/r/askTRP26/04/17 01:35 AM

So then what you are saying is that any time men and women hang out its to fuck by default, and we should never let our gfs hang out with men in any circumstances?
/r/askTRP25/04/17 11:17 PM

I'm just trying to understand what you are saying but if you have no valid points to make then why bother commenting
/r/askTRP25/04/17 11:12 PM

What's innapropriate about going mudding? If you stop you girlfriend from ever going out where other men are present then aren't you practically signing up to be cheated on?
/r/askTRP25/04/17 11:10 PM

But the behaviour if the accusations aren't true was going mudding. Does this mean that the second our gfs want to do any activity where another male is involved it should be over? That sounds a little overbearing to me
/r/askTRP25/04/17 11:08 PM

So accusations are all that matter?
/r/askTRP25/04/17 10:59 PM

Well let's say you were in these circumstances? What would have been the rational thing to do? I tried to hear out the argument against her and it was weak, but still a very serious accusation. You sayif my gut says so then she "probably" did. When you live with someone and have years together you dont want to pull the trigger on "probably" without a little more substancial evidence. I haven't been festering with beta rage like you want to imply, it's more so that as I'm acquiring a decent under…

Also, when you say keep track of her could you give some examples? Ever since, I'm definitely more cautious of where she goes and what she does without trying to show it. By let's say she is going to hang out somewhere that I know has some high value guys there that has me worried. Should I ask her to not go? I feel like that could be a pretty bad thing to do, showing weakness and lack of confidence. I only ask because I think she at least respected the situation and ever since hasn't really hun…

Thanks man, I know 2 years is too long to do anything about. It just fogs my thoughts up very occasionally (lately because of reading about the awful situations you see here) and I hate the thought of thinking and defending my decision on it only for it to be some bluepill weak willed crap. Logic brings me back a little in that I never forgave anything, so I never gave her the idea that I would ever allow this behaviour to happen.
