the US government is 100% responsible for what's going on there. No one is forcing Mexicans to illegally and immorally push drugs across the border. If I offer you $5,000,000 to kill someone, and you do so, it is still you who is ultimately responsible for the murder, although I hold responsibility as well. Maybe this kind of attitude is why Mexico is such shit right now.

He wasn't "forced" into sex. The article says he was "pressured" into sex. And he was on drugs? Unless it was a date rape cocktail, I'm going to say it doesn't matter.

What has you thinking the pool is shrinking in IT? Genuinely curious, as everything I read is that CS/IT is still strong in America.

Pride : Feeling deep pleasure or satisfaction as a result of one's own achievements, qualities, or possessions Why can't we have satisfaction over our qualities?

Due to the heritability of poverty and low IQs, we propose eugenics as the most effective long term solution for controlling entitlement spending. So which part is she angry about, the premise or the conclusion? The premise has been shown time and time again to be true. The conclusion is for eugenics, or a science that deals with the improvement (as by control of human mating) of hereditary qualities of a race or breed. The thing about eugenics is that it's happening all the time, it's culture-i…

Bill lightly flirts with the models but as soon as things begin to get more serious, he does his best to end the interaction No. Bill was ready to accompany the the women to a private area, where he would probably have cheated (he was joking sexually throughout the conversation), but was socially required to attend to the host when his assistant called. Here's the absolute best review I've ever read of the movie. The password to enter the ritual is “Fidelio”, which means “faithfulness”, a main t…

Equal? What the fuck are you talking about? Women are completely unequal to men in industry incentives, legal sentence duration, and rape outreach! And by that I mean, women are incentivized into industries where men are populous (like IT and the sciences), whereas men are not incentivized where the opposite is the case (human resources and IT); women routinely get 50% as harsh sentences as men; and women are the dominant beneficiaries of rape outreach, although only marginally more the victim (…

She should be tried and thrown in jail. There NEEDS to be examples made of those who commit false rape allegations. In my opinion, falsely accusing people of felonies should be the highest felony.

The only problem I have with Will's essay is that he should have clarified his use of the quoted case example (although I agree with what he implies). If we are going to say that a past sexual experience with someone does not indicate consent in future sexual experiences, then we must also say that a past rejection of a sexual approach does not indicate a lack of consent in future approaches. This, of course, ties into Will's notion of "cultural common sense" when you evaluate the sheer prevalen…

I read this on the Washington Post and emailed it to a few friends. I'd be really sad if he's fired. Maybe we should fire whoever made this petition for threatening free speech?

Agreed. What makes this interesting is that, despite the complete and total evil which is Ramsay Snow, many women admit attraction to his character, and many others admit attraction because of his character. While women are not necessarily attracted to sociopaths, it appears that most will ignore sociopathic traits due to attraction, and some or many find the sociopathic traits themselves irresistible, which goes against popular opinion regarding niceguytm theory ie The Blue Pill.

Happy cake day! I don't think anyone here has a problem with your post itself. In fact, I don't have any problem with any of the comments within, either. Iwan is a pretty aesthetically appealing guy. I posted this because of the aspects which are in quotes, ie the girls who find his sociopathic nature attractive. The comments are of interest because it adds credence to a common theory about what the other sex finds attractive. When you examine a lot of popular entertainment, whether it be that w…

Reminds me of a post I saw on FB a few minutes ago. There was a discussion about "How to Survive Being the Only Girl in a Band", an article written by a girl that was pretty tongue-in-cheek. It was essentially about the difference between hanging out with men and hanging out with women. In the article she recalled asking her bandmates whether her shirt made her look fat, to which the bandmates replied, "yes, actually." A female commenter wrote that this was, even if accidental, clearly a case of…

“They’re not purely macho or purely geeky, they’re somewhat pretenders in both, and I would imagine that’s very obvious to most women.” How dare they don't fit into one mold, and instead have a variety of interests!

There are far more reasons than physical aesthetics to get into exercise. I have a serious dandruff problem; if I go more than 16 hours without showering and shake my hair, the immediate space around my head becomes a snow globe. I started running a mile and a half every morning last week and I've noticed that my dandruff has gotten better. It also helps with stress and ergo helps with acne, both things that are really important for facial aesthetics. And it helps you wake up and feel better. Ju…

Well, if she truly gets aroused from submission then I can see how her acting on her fetish can be a sort of investing of power with the implication that such fetishes are repressed by society. But I have a problem with the implication that the fetish is repressed by society a priori. I think instead that society has a problem with anything that takes away from the intimacy of sex. So while it may be empowering for Belle Knox to act on her fetishes as an individual, it is disempowering sex as a …
