I find it very sad. Those who try to raise someone or some group up by tearing others down are despicable. There is no excuse for this behaviour. I can see the rationale for concealing the names of the accusers. However, I believe that if you follow this to its logical conclusion, the accused should also be afforded this right. I would suggest all media reporting of any charges / court proceedings be delayed until a verdict - perhaps even a verdict at a certain court level. This could apply for all matters by default.
