Been divorced around 5 years now. I read this sub sometimes and I get amazed at the hubris and the bravado, but then I don’t expect everyone to feel as I did at the start or as I feel Now at this point . Right after my ending….my anxiety level and my emotions and my loss and emptiness (even tho I had more to do with things than she did really) was off the wall. I was reaching out to any woman that befriended me, or knew me, trying to find some kind of assurance . Trying to find some understandin…

When it happened to me…my emotions went into overdrive and I was reaching out and rushing into things that did nothing but ruin some friendships and build walls where there shouldn’t have been any. I wanted others to feel and understand what it was I was going through and it was all about getting rid of the feeling of loss inside. It was a horrible time. It was selfish and in the end I felt worse than I did before. I just wanted someone to fill the empty spaces. And In The state I was in, no one…

Yeah life is not scripted . We see all of these things in movies and tv and think yeah…it would be awesome if it was really that way. But , no one rights out our lives…except maybe God. But we make our own choices and decisions . Sometimes…I wish someone would script my life out.😃

You don’t know me too well do you? Plus, it’s not something that I’m pushing on whoever she is going to be . As I said…it’s up to her. It’s her choice.

Well I’m An optimist …but again..it depends on her. If she wants children with me then …she’s gonna get them. Look…I love being a father . What matters is time spent, not worries about age or what other people think.

Thank you for the hope. It’s been 5 years since i was divorced. I’m 58. 22 years of marriage . 2 kids. And I do badly want to begin again with the woman for the rest of my life. And if she’s young enough and wants kids..yes I’d love to be a father again .

There’s a chance I could die in the next 5 minutes but what are we if we don’t try to live and love?

I’m Divorced and Do want to get married again. I want to have another chance at it. But, if the woman who loves me wants to just live together …I would think about that also. Marriage is a ritual . And I believe a ring means a lot . But…being together and having a real love relationship and depending on each other and giving Yourself to one another in every way..and knowing who your heart belongs to…is that not a marriage? If You give yourself to one person and deny everyone else…you become that…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
