Yes, something along these lines is important. Or maybe, treats people kindly even if they have nothing to offer him.

Have you tried becoming more attractive? I did it, dm and I send a before and after lol. It helps, and it’s fun to have women swoon, but ultimately good women aren’t super shallow. The type of women who are interested in me because I look great are not necessarily the ones I connect with emotionally. I just recommend trying it. You’ll see it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Though in some ways it totally is. Strangers are super nice to me now. That’s kinda fun.

Saddest comment I’ve ever seen in my whole life. The absolute state of this world. My heart breaks for the children.

I have to use that shot for work. I miss not having it. Dating is way more fun in real life.

This is so fucking sad. TLDR: live near millions of women, have money, be attractive. No shit guv’ner.

Of the billions of women in the world, there are a few hundred who will fuck anyone. And they do.

This is a pretty personal question. Hard not to make it personal. You may not have cheated, but I get the impression from your post that you want to and are trying to justify it to yourself. You describe monogamy as a prison. People who are wired for monogamy don’t talk like this. There’s nothing wrong with wanting a side piece. You just should have found a wife that was ok with that. Or not gotten married. And even in this hypothetical world, paper trail or not, you’re still going to be lying a…

If she knew about it, that’d be one thing, but no, that’s not an ok secret to keep. In a hypothetical world where you knew she’d never find out, maybe there’s a debate to be had. But I guarantee you aren’t as sneaky as you think you are. You fucked up. You ain’t the marry in’ kind. Get out now.

Yeah man, nothing to worry about there. Girls like being kissed. Just remember no means no. Whatever signals you think you got, if you try something and she’s not into it, give up immediately.

Maybe work on making yourself more desirable? Learn to dance, cool, speak a sexy language or something. If you have money, maybe a makeover. A haircut and some new clothes can do wonders. Even if you don’t have a ton of money, a clean shave and a shirt that fits is a great start.

Out of nowhere? Yes. But if she wants it and the time is right, not at all. If you’re in doubt, just check first. Saying “I’d really like to kiss you” can be very sexy. The 90/10 rule is good too if you don’t want to say it out loud. Make the move, and lean in, but stop just short, and let her close the gap.

Start small and see how it goes. A light touch on the shoulder, pick some lint off her arm, or an eyelash off her cheek. Ask first or go slow, give her a chance to escape if she wants. “Oh you’ve got something on your sweater”…. Give it a beat, “let me get that for you.” Depending on how skilled you are at reading faces, there should be some hints in her reaction that will let you know if you should go further. Girls these days really don’t mind being asked either. I think it used to come off as…

I found a comedy club. It completely changed my life. I was driving around in circles doing drugs and being sad and i literally saw the light, and a few people who looked kinda like me slouching around out front smoking cigarettes. They had an open mic, I told a few half-jokes about how sad and fucked up I was, and less than a year later I have a social circle for the first time in over a decade. A handful of close friends who come over and hang out with me, and a couple dozen casual acquaintanc…

Lol. Good. I’m glad women are starting to wake up to this bullshit. Game is for losers. Become a genuinely interesting person, and a woman will love it if you lean in when you talk to her.

I don’t recommend this. It’s easy to become more attractive without ever knowing how attractive you actually are. Could your teeth be whiter? How’s the hair on your neck? Smell yourself? Once you check off the obvious things, you can find a supportive venue to ask for constructive feedback. But especially if you’re really ugly, this could be devastating and emotionally dangerous. Also, photos don’t really capture how you look in real life, so you might just be learning to take better pictures. W…

Started with 2 or 3 at a time because it was all I could do. I’d do about a dozen sets, roughly one an hour throughout the day, until I got up to 5 at a time, then 10. Settled on 25 per set for a good while. I’d do groups of 4 sets as often I could muster. Eventually 5 times a day. Then for the first few sets of the day I’d just do as many as I could, usually 50ish, then make up the rest of the 500 with sets of 25. These days I do some push-ups, especially if I’m traveling, but mostly I do pull …

Sometimes, but it writes me letters. Or: Every day’s leg day when you’re a big ol fat guy. But in all seriousness, yes. Push-ups made my arms neck and face look better almost instantly. It took a while to work up to 500 a day, but by the time I was there I looked great from the tits up. Push-up to help the core too, and since I wasn’t lifting weights, I didn’t need the leg support really. I did hurt my back lifting a heavy speaker that easy for my shoulders and arms though.

You’re so welcome. I just thought of something I forgot to mention. It helped me to focus on tangible goals that were short enough term to get excited about. Becoming attractive or getting laid or whatever seemed so complicated and far off that it felt hopeless to try. But you bite of tiny pieces, and start to build momentum. Like the teeth thing. It was something I knew how to fix and could see progress on pretty quickly. Then maybe learn a new skill, like a couple sexy phrases in French, or ho…

This adds some much needed nuance. Yes, people who are damaged themselves often gravitate to sociopaths. But everyone, especially healthy people, find it attractive when someone has their own shit going on and is self-sufficient (I.e. not needing a woman’s attention to feel whole).

Becoming as attractive as possible. Ok. For me, there were a few easy ones. My hairline receded, but I had kept my long hair. It was really not working. So I cut my hair and I proudly rock my massive forehead. My teeth were fucked from smoking, drinking wine and not caring about myself, so I started brushing twice everyday, got some whitening strips etc. Lost a little weight, bought clothes that fit. It’s not like I look like a different person, I still have a huge nose, awkward slouching postur…

Haha, yes. It’s the only way. I focused on playing guitar and becoming as attractive as possible. Did about 500 push-ups a day, started playing shows, touring and got a tiny bit of radio play. Now my biggest romantic problem is that my girlfriend hates how much I get hit on. Neediness is probably the least attractive quality in a human. Which really sucks, because we all need people.

It’s common, it’s a numbers game. Remember the best hitters in baseball still get more strikeouts than home runs.

A little of both. Most prevalent in youth. Some grow out of it, some don’t. Similar to chronic immaturity or fear of commitment in men (and non-men).

Absolutely. It’s the biggest bummer about giving up booze. Other people who don’t drink are either super boring or even more fucked up than me. It sucks.

The approach itself is huge. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to belittle your accomplishment. I’ve been out of the game so long lol. I’m dating for the first time in 12 years and things have changed so much. Hardly anyone had smart phones last time I was out there. Social media was just for checking if the people you met were single. I’m lost lol. You should be proud!

Give her your number. She’s at work. She probs Lu doesn’t have a pen handy, shy doesn’t want to touch your phone, and she doesn’t want to say intuit loud for everyone to hear. Just hand her a note with you number and say something cute. If she’s interested (sounds like she is, remembering your cat’s name telling you her schedule) she’ll hit you up.

So far, 32, which I am not. It has gotten steadily easier the older I’ve gotten. Four girls by 21 is nothing to shake a stick at. You’re doing great and things will just get better.

Exactly. I’m sure there are guys taller than me who feel the same way too. Tom cruise would kill to be 5’7. Didn’t hold him back. It’s not what you’ve got, it’s what you do with it, mate. I’ll put it this way, I’ve never had a girl choose another guy over me who was taller. I’ve been shot down by many, many women only to see them later with their tiny-ass dates. It’s more important to be good-looking than tall. I promise. In college, the friend I had that was the most ‘successful’ with women was…

I’m almost 6 ft but I still feel like shot sometimes because I’m not over 6 ft. You could always be taller, you could always have a bigger dick. My recommendation is to read posts like this from people shorter than you, and appreciate how much worse it could be.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner. Came here to say this. Then saw how much you’d written. I’m sorry. That sucks. But move on. If she doesn’t want to talk, it doesn’t matter what you say to her.

Aesthetically (broad generalizations here): Not fat. Better skin. Worse teeth, more likely to have body hair. Less uptight, more intelligent. Same way all Europeans differ from Americans, basically.
