My view - I don't like to lead anyone on. If she's okay with casual sex leading nowhere, I'm okay keeping it going. If she expects it to go somewhere and I don't, I walk away.

Unless you've explicitly discussed a non-monogamous relationship, I think it's very reasonable to assume monogamy "out of the box" as soon as you move into a relationship. I've had multiple plates at the same time. All understood that I was/am seeing other people. Never multiple women when seeing someone long-term, or beyond "plate status."

If you're in a relationship, you've made an implied promise. It's a social norm, and has been for longer than either of us have been alive. Claiming that you don't recognize that "covert contract" is tantamount to crossing your fingers while lying and saying it "doesn't count." If she's a plate and you've made no commitments, that's a different story.

The risks of marriage far outweigh the benefits, and I refuse to share custody (even in a married, "happy" home) of my children. If I do decide that I want children, I think I will adopt from eastern Europe and retain 100% custody. The downside is that to raise a kid right, they do need to see a pro…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
