German popstar avoids prison even though she knowingly infected one man with HIV and 'attempting' to infect two more men.I'm not a feminist (dumb word) but I don't think thus verdict is at all ok, and mens rights movements should protest it and complain to authorities. It is 100% unacceptable for anyone to do this, you'd need to be nuts to disagree | /r/MensRights | 26/08/10 01:12 PM
Adoption rulings may boost birth father's rights - If the guy doesn't want the adoption to go forward, all he has to do is file a paternity suit. (Ohio)So if the mother of your child does not notify you during the pregnancy, birth or before 30 days after birth and the child is registered but not in a adopted family you still can't halt it as the father? What the hell | /r/MensRights | 25/08/10 07:38 AM
I think most MRAs would be ok with traditional gender roles AND most would also be ok with strict equality. What they object to is the confusion and unfairness of equality of benefits but not of responsibilities. Am I right or wrong?I'm fairly ok with traditional gender roles, I'm 23 female. My boyfriend works while I take care of all house duties, cooking, cleaning, fixing etc. When he's not at work he doesn't lift a finger unless it's to make me a gin and tonic while I cook. As I just moved interstate and still don't have my registration (sigh government organization) I don't work at all, however when I do work it'll be 3 days a week or 5 day fortnight as it's what we both want. In the other hand, he can't tell me what to… | /r/MensRights | 23/08/10 02:08 PM
A former Chrysler manager, convicted in a 55-minute bench trial of molesting a 7-year-old relative, will learn Monday whether he gets a new trial. A subsequent civil trial following his conviction exonerated him, and he has passed a polygraph while in prison.Woah, you don't know if what she is accusing him of is false yet. Bit hasty there | /r/MensRights | 23/08/10 01:37 PM
This is the list of men's rights that we are fighting for. Participate in finalising it.Wait, you're writhing a list because feminists have a list? Get some priorties and set goals because mens rights are important and not just because someone else has already had their turn at playing on the swing set. | /r/MensRights | 16/08/10 02:08 PM
UK Govt: Threatening to withhold money = Domestic ViolenceOk, it just came across as nasty =) | /r/MensRights | 15/08/10 02:23 PM
UK Govt: Threatening to withhold money = Domestic ViolenceJust because someone provides for you does not indicate being a common whore. My bf does not lift a finger around the house (unless it's to change light globes) because he contributes far more cash to the partnership, and I offer amazing cooking, cleaning, washing and anything else | /r/MensRights | 15/08/10 12:49 PM
Little did I know, She was Only 16 years old.That's so bullshit. | /r/MensRights | 15/08/10 02:34 AM
Downsides to being seen as a manHello, I was wondering about this point "Men — particularly gay men — are seen as potential paedophiles." I'm not sure how it is in America (I live in AUS) however, I don't understand how gay men are targeted more. Is it due to the general dislike of homosexuals in your country that makes the average citizen more wary? Thank you. | /r/MensRights | 15/08/10 02:30 AM
URGENT - Update - Mother Took Son and All of Husband's Savings - Advice NeededI really dint think you should be asking the Internet to manipulate lines to say, just be honest and sincere because any decent judge is going to see through it. Sit down (or call w/e) with your fathers lawyer to present all points and ask his expensive opinion on what to say. Now isn't the time to prove a point, it's to attempt to protect your family. I'm really sorry this is happening | /r/MensRights | 14/08/10 03:27 PM
Little did I know, She was Only 16 years old.I did think it was a pretty seedy picture (I have seedy pictures too) and instantly felt horrible. | /r/MensRights | 14/08/10 03:18 PM
Little did I know, She was Only 16 years old.Honestly, legal sex should be from 16. | /r/MensRights | 14/08/10 03:16 PM
"We've told our boys to find a mom with kids. Don't ever find a man, even a man with kids. They're dangerous."There were men standing around near the child, but when I asked if they knew who she was or where she came for they just kinda shrugged. I wasn't sure if I'd be really welcome, but a lot of what happens in here is serious and warranted (sometimes you guys rant a little, but Twox does it more), so thanks for saying something =) | /r/MensRights | 14/08/10 04:23 AM
"We've told our boys to find a mom with kids. Don't ever find a man, even a man with kids. They're dangerous."This is so sad, once I found a lost child who was crying so I just bent down and talked to her without a second thought as im female. She wanted to be picked up, so I did and took her to her mother who was extremely grateful. | /r/MensRights | 14/08/10 01:13 AM
"We've told our boys to find a mom with kids. Don't ever find a man, even a man with kids. They're dangerous."I've never taken off running but I'm weird And almost always convince myself of danger if anyone follows me. | /r/MensRights | 14/08/10 01:08 AM
UNICEF study has shocking findings: vast majority of Pakistani sexual abuse victims are boys, 10.76% of respondents believe that having sex with boys is not bad, 14.04% see it as a status symbol, 22.57% see it as a matter of pride, 82.92% know of adults who keep boys for sexual servicesI watched a documentary on this topic of dancing boys and beardless youth. From my understanding quite a bit of this is due to gender segregation (and a culture of it looking the other way) and thus the liberation of females and mixing of the sexes could lessen this crime. If men were able to openly court and have relationships with females there would be less of a requirement to have such 'friendships' and the exploitation of young men? Please correct me if I am incorrect. | /r/MensRights | 13/08/10 03:09 PM
published chat about a man who was charged with indecent exposure for being naked in his own home.22 and I giggled in anatomy class at male reproductive system, it's sort of a nervous response | /r/MensRights | 12/08/10 01:34 PM
This is a real deadbeat dad. Innocent men who can't pay child support because they are unemployed are not him. Note the difference. That's a bit silly, if I was to wait to have children till I could give them a fantastic life on just my wage without leaving them in childcare constantly it would be a long wait. | /r/MensRights | 12/08/10 01:28 PM
It took 24 hours longer than expected, but I have an updateAt least her mother seemed to be quite rational and polite. I hope everything goes well for you, you seem to be trying to do the right thing | /r/MensRights | 11/08/10 02:18 PM
Need help/advice from Men's Rights supporters in Boston areaYou flashed your butt in public at someone who you knew was horrible and thought you wouldn't get punished? Silly boy. Anyhow, perhaps you could look atservices for men in need rather than just mens rights such as homeless shelters. In reality, helping anyone who requires it could turn this into a possitive experience. | /r/MensRights | 10/08/10 12:24 PM
My friend who met his child's grandparents in the delivery room....So she doesn't have a job, he has a decent job and he only pays 10$/month even though they share custody 50/50? That child's life is going to suck 50% of the time. | /r/MensRights | 05/08/10 06:35 AM
