The secret is that you don't date women your own age. Wish I learned this when I was younger, but it's never too late. Dating 10 years younger isn't that weird when you're older. Found out my ex-wife was fucking her 73 year old boss before we met. You can't just let things like that go without any repercussions. Why enable the behavior of missing his bus? If I missed the bus when I was a kid I was fucked. Need to learn from mistakes and prevent them in the future instead of hoping for bailouts. His dad should have been the one taking him to school meanwhile chewing him out for missing the bus and making him have to leave/be late for work to come back and take him.
