Most of these guys you see being rowdy and sucker punching people in the club/streets are not martial artists. They're pumped full of steroids and have got 40-60 pounds of muscle mass over you. Might as well hop on steroids too for your girl. Then 50 years from now guys walking around with bionic arms able to punch through a wall. Gotta get that too, for your girl. It's a never ending cycle.

You're just growing up as a man. It never is a straight path. You'll have to learn to overcome the self doubt. You're trying to rely on the same things to validate your self-identity now as you did in your 20s. That may not work out. All of these past experiences and life events that you had described, are you just that? A collection of memories of your life events? You're trying to create a future based off your past wins/losses? There is more to it. Do something new. Look within you some place…

Do something which would "seem" unnecessary/unhelpful to you right now. Read the "Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle.

I have realised that I find a lot of strength in accepting this. Just think about it. In almost every society in all time periods men have been expected to grow up and be solid pillars for the other weak members. It is the path of a man to become the strongest version of himself. We were born to do this.

Is it bad that I recently asked someone like this to be my girlfriend? I just felt like she was fun and doesn't bullshit much about her own character.

I also think about this. Everytime I read about consciousness and enlightenment I get a feeling that I should just fully delve into it. But then I wonder if I am just using that as an escape from my biological imperative. Or is game and all that stuff just an escape from my spiritual imperative. Which one do I pursue? I watch a lot of Sadhguru videos on youtube (check him out) . I see the bliss on his face. The tears of awe to be able to just experience life as it is. I don't know if any amount …

Yeah a lot of people try that here as well but the landlords have caught up to it now. So if you don't have a kid to show and you want to rent an apartment with a girl, the landlords ask you to produce a marriage certificate.

In my country i.e India, a lot of times renting an apartment becomes troublesome for a bachelor male. A lot of landlords here won't let a bachelor stay with the fear that he'll bring in consenting girls/prostitutes and fuck around. Apparently everybody here interferes in your private matters on a daily basis. It also becomes a little difficult if you're planning to relocate to a new city for some job. Another incident I remember from a few years back. There was this private tutor for mathematics…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
