Being a "Chad" just means you have the life of a woman, so it's pretty nice. The opposite case is an ugly woman, who necessarily has a life like a man's, so her life is pretty shitty.

It's easy to get lonely or rage-y, and in that mental state you can't imagine a hobby helping for some reason. Then you get going—playing an instrument, drawing something you like, working out, playing a board game with some friends, etc.—and you realize that those experiences are superior to anything else in life. My favorite activity, far beyond romance or companionship, was smoking a cigarette and playing the piano. I'm still not very good at the piano and don't smoke anymore, but those eveni…

Imagine hearing a criticism of yourself—at most—once a year. I would smell bad, dress sloppy, and forget people's name and stuff. So I understand their behavior, but it makes me sad.

Honestly, the AWALT thing is a bit of a red herring. When women do no more than ONE seriously thing besides being your girlfriend (or wife, before marriage shit the bed), they're fine. The problem is the idea that "women can have it all". A pretty great woman told me that what was important to her was being a good mother, doing well in her career, and being a good wife. Then she said any woman who thinks she can do more than two of those well is psychotic.

I work in a female-majority workplace, and the men there are mostly feminized. Punching the heavybag 2-3 times a week keeps me sane.

It's everyone, but women often go along with the crowd. "But everyone talks like that," she'll say, and unfortunately she's correct.

Wait, it says that the survey was about Indian women who cheat, not that 7/10 Indian women cheat. Doesn't the blurb suggest that it's reporting on 77% of women who cheat, which could be 10% or anything else?

Good point. I wish you were wrong, and it's really likely that gynocentrism dominates all parts of society not just some.

Don't be too hasty. There are brilliant female researchers, but no amount of brilliance can outweigh their fear of criticism from their peers. Meanwhile, male researchers usually don't care about baseless criticism.

This post captures the true mildness of MGTOW. I think the process is composed of a few months of ugly anger (this is where this sub's bad rap comes from) but eventually a permanent mild disregard for people who don't help a man live his most authentic life.

Am I reading this right? "Friendzoned = fuckzoned, but when one happens to me, it's bad. When one happens to dudes, they have to learn to live with it." I remember when I had social media: my brain didn't work very well.

>MGTOW is about ignoring women Sorry, it's not this. It's men going their own way, nothing more. Western women have become a hazard, and men are responding rationally to hazards by discussing how to protect ourselves and do their own thing.

I was legitimately TFL for ~5 years with clinical depression plus an unrelated physical injury, dated after that for a year or two when I got my feet under me, and then monk the last ~5 years out of disgust and disappointment. The term for this is "repulsed gray-sexual", where I'll check out women more with intrigue than interest, admiring their beauty the way I admire a lion, tarantula, or shark. Why would you avert your eyes at a zoo? Women's breasts, ass, face, and mind are like claws, scales…

Men created and powered your camera, my computer, and the Internet to connect them. Plants, bedrock, water, and sunlight created and powered the ecosystem you’re viewing. Men are representatives of Earth itself, and the vista looks at us as intently as we look at it.

It just hit me: women are cigarettes, metaphorically. More exactly, romantic love is just like nicotine, so this might be just as bad (if not worse, more like heroin) for women. I want a cigarette all the time, but do I smoke? Nope.

Wrap up your wrists and knuckles and just hit the heavy-bag, just three or four 3-minute sessions with some pull-ups in between. Highest high you can get at a gym.

I thought MGTOW meant men go their own way, so why would you assume you know what's best for other men? Some men want to adopt without paying $40K. That's foolish?

That wasn't what you said before, and nobody suggested pushing responsibility on anyone. The post was about willing adoptive MGTOWs. Have a good one, buddy.

Kids have Santa Claus, and adults have true love. They’re living a lie to avoid harsh truths. What bugs me is Cooper and other adult men look and sort of act like adults but are deep down still boys. It’s not bad per se but off-putting, weird to see, like if I saw a child act like an adult. Can’t be safe.

I thought it was because guys on hard drugs don’t judge their girlfriends for doing drugs, and there’s easier access for her to get drugs. Regular guys would shame her so she opts for the druggie to enable her addiction, I wager.

Is foster care all that different from what I posted? People talk big fucking talk online then piss themselves in real interactions. I’m not buying the tough-guy act, man, nor should you buy into your own bullshit. Next time you meet a kid with a single mom, you play out in your head how you’d tell the kid you want him or her to suffer like their mom suffers without a man’s leadership. “Children of single mothers should suffer.” -AeturnusDoleo

I will try to understand this irrationality you described very well with something besides rationality, but it’s hard for men who are generally rational. This effort to adapt to how thjngs are and not how we feelz they should be is one of my favorite things about MGTOW and I recommend it now to all men I meet.

Good points. I’ve seen this a lot: the judge throws out contracts like prenups, etc. In a country where such contracts are not enforced (not for men, it would seem), doesn’t that society just dissolve into violence? I thought enforcing laws was meant to minimize violence, but then I hear there are a lot of judges that throw out legal documents. Makes no sense to me.

The approach you suggest is much better than my idea because it negates the civil/legal battles that would obviously happen. My greatest concern is for kids of single moms, though. Maybe there’s something like a boys or girls Club of America that’s just for children of single parents I could look for (or start myself)? Ironically, starting a day care would probably be the closest to helping, but the stigma around male child-caretakers stops someone like me with good intentions from helping. This…

I’ve never understood this: you having consensual sex means someone desires your body. Your body IS YOU. It’s your entire physical form that exists in reality and somebody wants to be intimately close to that, so how is it an abuse or even an insult? How could it possibly be as harmful as this implies? “But it’s YOU they want,” I shout in my head when I hear this stuff. And yet someone who just wants your money, the thing least like your body that also has entirely made-up value, is “being pract…

Sexually assaulted by a group of my closest female friends when I was an adolescent, sexually abused by my first girlfriend, bullied by an all-female work crew at my first job out of college, which led to a serious injury, and harassed by every female boss. Marriage has never even crossed my mind (though having kids has). Nobody ever punished or reprimanded these women and no one ever stood up for me, so I went my own way.

Romanian? Numa numa ay! Numa numa numa ay! Just kidding; it’s great you passed those exams, great work! I’ve suffered from depression for years and it’s a shit deal, especially when money’s tight. The best advice I got/found was, “The mountains you are carrying are meant to be crossed.” It means that although you feel depressed, it’s completely unrelated to your failures and successes. Depression and life’s hardships are separate, but their solution is often the same thing: exercise (weights and…

Not sure why people bash movies. I admit newer movies are much less likely to be entertaining or thought-provoking, but many older movies are and at least let you peak into the history of culture. I still agree reading is 100% better; it’s that fucking good of a way to spend time and good for your mind. You need to get out sometimes. It’s a win-win: You might meet an interesting person, and if not then it’ll remind you why you usually stay in and you won’t be worried anymore that you’re not goin…

I hear people say, “Just get some popcorn and watch the collapse,” but it seems like they’re saying, “Fuck those little boys who’re abused by women.” Is that true? If men don’t act to protect the boys that are at risk, and the mother’s now busy at work, who will?

Nailed it, man. The solution is to become unaffected by shaming, which is a tough project but really pays off long-term. Self-validation is the name of the game. Imagine being shamed with impunity by the people you live with, people you work with, or people you may in fact love deeply, then feeling zero remorse for who you are. Our demons require white-knuckled killing, and to keep them dead is to get the strength and freedom of a shameless life.

Metaphors can really help understand life's hardships, but isn't this really a case of the fallacy of appeal to nature?
