Are there? There's a consensus that it's okay for a man to hit a woman in self-defense; I don't think that would be the case if there were a bunch of white knights here.

I can’t view the article because I used up all my free views of the Washington Post (apparently). Can I get a summary?

“Homophobia hurts straight people too” kind of makes sense. Straight men who “act gay” are often shamed for it.

The amazing atheist responded to an accusation of being right-wing by running over all his left-wing beliefs. I think that’s a good idea. Here’s what I might say: “I support legalizing marijuana and a vast array of other drugs, I’m pro-LGBT, I’m anti-war, I think corporate money in politics corrupts the system and needs to be fixed, I support environmental protection and I know man-made climate change is real, I think it’s silly to view a country’s flag as some sacred object and I really don’t g…

I had no idea that girls got better grades than boys in all subjects. I had to look it up to be sure that it was true even for math and science.

It's hypocritical too, since he ran against Hillary Clinton in 2008 and then proceeded to pick a white man as VP when he beat her. He then campaigned against John McCain in the general election, which means he campaigned for Joe Biden over Sarah Palin (a woman) to be VP.

In fact, I've seen feminists before argue that global warming is a women's issue. While global warming is expected to harm women more than men (on average), it's ridiculous to call it a women's issue, especially since it affects nearly the entire biosphere on Earth, many species of which don't have sexes/genders at all, or have thousands (fungi). I've read up a bit on global warming. The authors I've seen who dive into the reasons why nothing much gets done about global warming look at a complex…

I assumed that left-wing male advocates meant pro-male/anti-feminist advocates who are also left-wing on economic issues, social issues, and foreign policy.

The majority here still oppose the “men cannot hit women under any circumstances” rule, so I’ll go with no.

Kyle Kulinski (Secular Talk) is a sex-positive feminist and so are most people in his audience and his circles.

Maybe I only interact with the "cool" feminists but I find most of them are consistently sex-positive and support things like prostitution. The straight male feminists I encounter openly discuss which celebrities have nice boobs or butts. They just want men (and women) to be able to control their sexual thoughts and feelings, like being able to concentrate on schoolwork when there's attractive girls exposing their shoulders around.

I used to always complain about how female victims of domestic violence got all the attention whereas male ones were ignored, laughed at, or even blamed or punished for what happened to them. I'm glad that society is changing on this, and in a way that doesn't take away from female victims.

"Can you imagine a headline, "Domestic Violence Against Women: No Laughing Matter"?" I can, and I found a couple. https://www.ourwatch.org.au/News-media/Latest-news/Hey-guys,-violence-against-women-is-no-laughing-ma http://www.thenopebook.com/entertainment/punches-are-not-punchlines-violence-against-women-is-not-a-joke/ I guess these articles are about jokes, but there are plenty of people who actually think that society doesn't view violence against women in a negative enough light.

I am a 21-year-old man and I never got the extra strength that is supposed to come in the package for being a member of the male gender. Tell me, why should *I* abide by the "never hit a woman" rule? Remember, you can't tell me that she's so much weaker than me.

Do you have stats on the gender swap thing? People don't have those surgeries because they think the opposite sex has life better. They get them because they have gender dysphoria and their brains are constantly telling them they're the opposite sex.

She might've been experiencing gender dysphoria during that experiment, too. It would be the same as those experiments where they tried raising a boy to be a girl, but failed.

I'm a 21-year-old man who has for some reason never gotten the extra strength that comes with being male. I've had people online show me this graph trying to convince me that I'm stronger than I think, or that women are weaker than I think. I don't get convinced, but it's an interesting graph. I'd like to see a similar one for weight lifting and running.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
