As a short dude not blessed in the looks department, online dating worked only one way. You swipe on Wednesday evening, let your matches roll in, message on Thursday evening and set a date on Friday/Saturday evening. I knew I couldn't be Mr. Right so I focused on being Mr. Right Now. If you treat it as social media, a messaging app and what not, you're doomed to fail. Treat it as a planning app, and get off of it as soon as you can. Of course this only works if you're in a big city. People are a…

Her past doesn't matter. But what's a red flag here is that she's withholding sex for marriage, maybe using it as a bait. You should ask yourself if it's okay with you if she won't have penetrative sex after marriage as well. Make sure you don't end up in a dead bedroom scenario in the future. By brown, if you mean south Asian women, yeah having hooked up with a few of them, I've realized they make it a point not to count oral as sex, so that they can pretend they don't have as many past sexual …

Nah the only thing you learned is that approaching strangers in a club or bar doesn't work for average looking men. Your best hope is to make friendly acquaintances within your social group over a period of time, and hope one of them gives you enough hints to ask her out. Honestly that's the only way I see average men dating average girls these days: becoming friends first over a month or two at the least, and then acting on it if she shows any interest from her side.

This is just blatant cherry picking. About 3-4th of health care professionals, and teachers are women. The majority of our taxes come from men, but only because they are wealthier than women as a whole.

Conservative guys like you often cry about how masculine, and dominant the average cis woman is. For them, trans women would be a perfect fit. What makes a woman is a different discussion, about which you already seemed to have made up your mind. There are other ways to have a child as well.

I don't think many here have dated trans women to answer your questions. I have dated a handful of them, many of them post medical transition, and post op (not the pink hair non binary ones). You might think it's easier to date them because they don't have as many options as the average woman, which is slightly true imo. However anecdotally, all of them desire the standard masculine traits dialed up to eleven (think dominance, height, muscles, dick size all of that). And I find it exhausting to …

I wouldn't say it applies to every woman, but I agree a significant percentage are just happy to be a star fish, or a pillow princess. In fact I believe this is a big reason why men pump and dump, when the sex itself isn't even as good as jacking off, why bother. When I'm on top of a girl, and she grabs my ass and pulls me in, or plays with my balls when I'm making her suck my dick, I know I've hit the jackpot. Even simple acts of reciprocity, like pulling me by the collar when I'm kissing her, …

Men enjoy dating women they're having sex with. Dreams, hopes, aspirations are far too intimate things to share with anyone, they are not intimate with.

Eh I'm just trying to be helpful. Broken people have a knack of attracting other broken people. Maybe you need to be proactive in who you date, maybe you need to be patient, maybe you need a little bit of luck, or lots of therapy, who knows. I know tons of American women in your place though, who are in a loving relationship. Good luck!

Honestly at this point you have to entertain the possibility that something is wrong with you, or your picker is completely broken. I know lots of men who would qualify your standards and are decent and loving partners, and have none of the negative traits you mentioned. My grandpa always said: if everywhere you go smells like shit, then maybe look under your shoe.

Same story. Autistic immigrant from a broken family in a foreign country. Gym, socializing, therapy, hobbies all that pizzazz. Lots of hookups, few relationships, and close to a decade of roller coaster experiences later, realize it wasn't supposed to be this hard. I was in your shoes once, taking every experience in my stride. But the pandemic gave me pause, and all those experiences are haunting memories now. Yeah I've seen quite a few men beat themselves up over for not using the right text, not being flirty enough, not choosing the right venue etc., when everything boils down to just raw physical attraction. If you follow the two rules, no women will reject you for failing to setting the right vibes, feel, ambiance, spark whatever, at least not in the first few dates. Having said that, people often use 'spark' in a negative context. If I have to turn down a chick, I'll use: "I'm just not feeling th…

I don't know. My 5'6" ass has no problem attracting fat women. But rarely do I get to date a fit woman short, or tall, even though I'm pretty fit myself. Maybe overweight women want super tall men, but in my experience, they aren't getting any. I regularly see short skinny men with obese women, so I don't think your theory holds.

I am a man who's a massive advocate for mental health. I've been in therapy for more than 5 years now, regularly see a psychiatrist as well. Have encouraged quite a few of my male friends to seek the same. Having said that I've come to be extremely disillusioned by it in the past year or so. My gripe with mental health services is the way they are designed. They serve as an excellent coping mechanism, help you to identify your issues, but then hang you to dry. They have done absolute zilch in ac…

If you're truly attractive, put yourself where women are. Online dating will also work, provided you take great photos, and don't be creepy. Don't get ahead of yourself, and just be a nice person to talk to, and listen to. Women are incredibly patient with good looking guys, and they would show you the ropes before you know it.

As a guy who's conventionally ugly (short, bald, less than stellar jawline), almost every red pill advice backfires on me. On the other hand actually being nice, kind, decently well read, and interesting to talk to, has gotten me into the pants of a couple dozen chicks. It's just a shame I was never interested in marriage, or heavier girls, and so my dating life is becoming increasingly difficult as I get older. Ironically redpill is useless on men who are below average in looks. It might explai…

No, but most men are married to the first woman they found decently attractive, who also happens to like them back. "Cameron has never been in love - at least, nobody's ever been in love with him. If things don't change for him, he's gonna marry the first girl he lays, and she's gonna treat him like sh*t, because she will have given him what he has built up in his mind as the end-all, be-all of human existence. I think I'm experienced enough to answer this question. Yes bdsm, rape fantasies, and degradation is surprisingly popular among women (at least the ones I've dated). But it really doesn't come from a place of humiliation, submission, or masochism. It rather stems from a desire for extreme validation. She likes calling her partner daddy, because she loves the idea of a protective, and overly doting partner. She harbors rape fantasies, not because she enjoys the violation, rather likes the idea of…

There are absolutely ethical ways to achieve the same thing, that doesn't involve mail order brides, or human trafficking. Go to any university town in the US, and you'll have hordes of students both undergrads and grad students from China, and India. I've lost count of how many of my international female friends married a white nerdy frumpy dude. To them this guy is far better than the 'misogynistic' guy their parents have arranged back home. It goes hand in hand with men becoming more feminine. Sedentary jobs, lowering T, video games, porn, being couch potatoes, low physical activity, rising depression, low paying jobs difficult to support a family of four, etc.etc. The only physiological advantage men have over women is physical strength. And in an environment where physical strength isn't required, or isn't prized enough, sexual dimorphism will absolutely go down. And it's not really such a bad thing.

More like the horseshoe theory: personality doesn't matter at both ends of the looks spectrum. It only matters for the man in the average zone. But this zone is decided by women, and shrinking as I speak.

Swingers events are usually invite only, mainly rich men and their trophy wives. As a man you get invited for only two reasons: you have a hot wife, or you're hot and hung yourself. Kink community is far more accepting. The initial events are usually a casual social meetup at a bar, and you'll have to work your way up from there by making friends and connections. And yes, the kink community tends to be fat and unattractive. If you're an average man you'll get opportunities to explore your sexual…

Never attribute to malice that can be explained by stupidity. Manosphere invented the concept of 'wall' to feel better about themselves. Men see a woman reject nerds in her 20s, but marry one in her 30s, and think to themselves she must have hit the wall; not realizing that's pretty much the winning strategy for most women.

Much of the manosphere isn't interested in self improvement, rather self consolation. Men who aren't successful in dating are its biggest consumers. They seek solace in it, and get to tell themselves at night, at least I'm nice and not an asshole. Lookup Nietzsche's Master vs Slave morality. Bastardization of decent traits of the other group is an absolute defence mechanism.

Obesity is not a problem dating wise for most people. Both men and women are equally obese. It's only a problem for short bald dudes, who drank the redpill Kool-Aid of lifting hard, only to find their dating pool going from non-existent to just fatties.

Speak for yourself. Maybe you struggle meeting the very basic needs in a relationship. Therefore, go around seeking the same thing in every woman. Women on the other hand have far more options, and find it way easier to satisfy their basic needs. So they can afford to look for exciting things with a new partner. You would be too, if you were the proverbial Chad.

This is actually a good deal for the guy. Lots of men are in marriages where they're the sole earner. 7k isn't even that much for a trophy wife. At least she didn't leave with half his assets. Happens far more common. This girl I was dating before the pandemic, lost her job, and couldn't pay her rent. A week later she had an offer to move in with a guy from work, rent free. And of course she takes up the offer.

If you want a tradcon wife, you need to be the traditional husband as well. You should be out earning her by 4x. You should have a house, buy her a car, pay for your kids and what not. Basically, to wife up someone on your looks level, you'll have to be insanely rich, compared to her. I see a lot of happy couples this way, the husband earning 250k as a software engineer, and the wife being a local performing musician for example. Narcissus fell in love with his own reflection. People who say they lift for themselves probably jack off to themselves in the mirror. Unlike money, lifting won't make up for your other shortcomings. If you were fat, or skinny fat, a lean muscular build will definitely improve your chances. But if you were ugly, bald, or short, it wouldn't do much. Ironically lifting works the best for those petite frail chicks with pancake ass. They're the ones who get the most out of it and go on to date Chads…

With hookers I get it. But where are you finding women that want no foreplay, and straight action. Most of my hookups involve kissing, making out with clothes on, grinding, stripping, more kissing and making out naked, then fingering her, and making her go down on me. At least 30-45 minutes of foreplay before even attempting penetration. No one expects you to have an instant hard on. You just need to take your own time. You might be demisexual though, but that's a different issue.

Irl cowgirl is fairly popular in my experience. Women get to play an active role, grind their clit, and I get a breather. Missionary is by far the most popular though, followed by prone bone (doggy if the height matches) You can clearly tell who watches a ton of porn though. Historically, only 1-3rd men reproduced, while 2-3rd of women did. Only for a brief period in human evolution, did the majority of people reproduce. With falling marriage rates, women earning for themselves, people renouncing religion, and polyamory being normalized, we'll be back to status quo in a few decades. It's this transitory period where we'll have hordes of lonely people, until virtual reality, sex dolls, psychiatry, and possibly gene splicing catch up.

Of course he's free to leave, but staying in the relationship in no way makes him a chump. If his sexual desires are met otherwise, breaking up just because your partner has a wilder sexual history makes him a bigger chump.

That's extremely presumptuous of you. She doesn't do it to you what she did to Chad, doesn't mean she's pining for his dick. She might have enjoyed it in the past, and maybe her tastes changed. The same happens with men, as well. And that's exactly my point: If you as a man haven't experimented with sex, or never had the opportunity to, you can't relate to it. It’s got nothing to do with how attractive someone is I never said this. In fact, in my experience the more attractive a man is, the more willing are women to participate in kinky sex with him. The sooner these guys accept that, the happier they will be. I agree. No the real reason is: those men themselves have never had kinky experimental sex. So it's straight up envy that their partner has a colorful sexual past, and not due to some jealousy born out of competitive masculinity. I, as a man, have indulged in those wild sexcapades as well, and have absolutely no interest in acting out those with a future partner. No, this is a perfect strategy for exclusively attracting men who are husband material, who'll stay faithful to her and their kids, who's not too bothered by a lack of exciting sex life, and is just happy to have someone love him back. There are plenty of men out there who satisfy all of those requirements. Using sex as a bait though, is a different story. Your post title is a blanket statement. The burden of proof lies on you. You base your crackpot theory on your anecdotal experiences. And I'm refuting that with my own. How did you even deduce something about the majority of women, when the women you are basing your theory on, fit only into a narrow subset. Classic self selection bias. Sounds like a theory weaved out of flimsy anecdotes. Women are perfectly capable of casual sex, they just prioritize relationship more, because they know they can get sex at the drop of a hat. Go to any major city in the US, you'll have thousands of women willing to engage in casual sex, after they have snagged a long term boyfriend, or husband. Why else would I want a relationship? I'm financially, emotionally, and socially independent. Physical intimacy is the only thing I can't get by myself. Men who were attractive in their 20s age better than women who were attractive in their 20s, no doubt about that. That's literally what Testosterone does, keeps your skin youthful. But that only applies to the top echelon of men, who were born attractive, and put efforts towards staying attractive.

I'm a guy who's into kink, and a ton of other perverted stuff. But I prefer erotica over hardcore pornography. Every hetero couple should try pegging. It gives you a perspective of what it's like to be on the other end. Way too many women underestimate the effort a dominant man puts into sex, and just lie there like a starfish. And way too many men fuck like a jackhammer, without adequate foreplay.

You would have been doomed, maybe 20 years ago when flirting, and wooing was far more common. Nowadays dating is relatively straightforward. If you have to psychoanalyze your date, and carefully plan your advances, you're probably unattractive to the girl. Pornography's core audience are the sexually powerless and the repressed, with the deviants and perverts being a distant second. American women are racist period. As an average Asian American if you didn't secure a wife in college, you are better off getting one from Asia. Plenty of my 'milquetoast' Asian friends go that route. As to why you're getting matches elsewhere, yeah you correctly guessed, it's because of your American citizenship/residency. However the trick is to find someone who can pursue higher studies in the US, and find a job later. That way the culture disconnect would be minimal.

Swingers/kink club experience for an average guy is worse than dumpster diving. The decently attractive ones have their own private orgies. Being a sugar daddy, paying for prostitutes, or being a drug dealer all get you transactional sex.

Yeah basically, but not the way OP describes. You have to be around when she's down in the dumps, in between getting dumped by chads that is. Only way below average men hook up with above average women: be the shoulder for her to cry on, and hope it becomes a dick to ride on.

Social skills take you from date 1 to date 5, an fwb to boyfriend, boyfriend to husband material. The way hypergamy works is though, it's self selecting. The average unattractive male usually gets filtered out way earlier in the dating process, for his social skills to matter.

Yes if you're short, bald, and have a small dick you shouldn't have male kids. It's almost cruel to bring a below average male child to today's world. I'll never forgive my parents for giving birth to me, who inherited all of their bad genes. The only genetic trait that can screw up a woman's dating life is a truly ugly face, which is rare, and can be fixed with surgery. Yes and no. Of course she likes it when she has sex. But it happens less frequently than Billy wants. The mood has to be right, the timing, the occasion, and the alignment of stars all have to be perfect. The thing with Chad is she constantly wants to jump his bones. Usually looks, money, and status go hand in hand. The probability of finding someone extra ordinary in one, and below average in the others is extremely low. Men are dumb, and motivated by sex. They'll do anything that gets them laid. That includes changing their entire personality, just for the pursuit of pussy. It's kind of pathetic. Any dating culture is propped up by women, on the other hand. If women decided en masse to only want LTR with guys like David, that's what most men will want in turn. They can single handedly decide to root out hookup culture, or even misogyny for that matter. All they have to do is stop sexually rewarding men with tho…

Tinder doesn't care about the average woman. They're not the paying customers. If it did she wouldn't have to swipe through 100s to find one she finds attractive. It used to front load attractive people earlier. But now its algorithm has significantly changed. So all the average ltr seeking normal men are actually shown to her, but she swipes left nevertheless.

As someone who has worked on the algorithms of dating apps, no they're not broken. They work every bit as designed. Dating apps are the highest grossing apps in the app stores for a reason. They're meant to keep you, the paying customer: the low value male, addicted to them. They optimize looks because LVMs simp over looks rather than personality. They couldn't care less about the preference of Chads, and Stacys. Women go on these apps primarily to get attractive men, who for whatever reason are…

This is just rule #2, of the two rules to being successful at dating. There's an implicit assumption of rule #1 in here.

Try being short, bald, with a recessed jaw. 99% of the times you get rejected, unless you want to date overweight women.

If you were friends first, that's great advice. Meeting from tinder? No way. No one wants to be stuck with a weirdo on an activity date. Makes a great second date though.

Most of these places are majority men. Rock climbing gyms are full of single men. The women there are usually taken, or have high standards. EDM festivals are good for hookup with a rando in a drug induced haze, but that's about it. Any risk taking hobby group is majority men. So yeah, if you're above average looking man, you'll do great, otherwise it's the same old story.

This doesn't apply to people who aren't at least decent looking in the first place. The masculine brazenness is often taken to be creepy if an ugly guy does it. I have done all of that. Hitchhiked across multiple countries, lived off the grid in third world countries, partook in drugs, festivals, all of that. Pretty confident in myself, usually am straightforward and blunt. But none of that matters, if you don't have the looks to back it up. Be bold and assertive, really only works for attractiv…

Men and women, are equally obese. But this epidemic absolutely works in the favor of women. To increase their SMV, all they need to do is lose weight.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/22 07:41 PM

That's the extent of self improvement for women: Don't be fat. In a fit society, all of us would have had to put in effort to develop our personality. But in an obese society, height and weight is all there is to attractiveness.

The obesity epidemic has single handedly killed self improvement for the man born with below average genes. It's so normalized that women would rather date a tall obese guy than a short fit guy. As a bald guy on top of that, I had to work extra hard in the gym, and my dating pool hardly changed. All I got was a newfound disgust for overweight women. At the same time it has made it much easier for the average women, and the tall overweight man. They just have to be slim to date attractive and fit…

That's your female perspective. Most men want passion rather than dedication. They stay put in a passionless marriage, because they can't do any better, and unfortunately it's way too common. When I say passion, I don't mean pornstar level fake moaning. I mean enthusiasm and initiation in sex. That's not too much to hope for. I pity your future partner, if that's your idea of an 'adult relationship', of being grateful to just have a partner to raise a family with. No sane man will willingly walk…

The average woman might find only about 2/10 men attractive, but it has never been easier for her to have access to those attractive men. So there's really no benefit to monogamy. If she wanted she can easily hookup with anyone more attractive than her partner, even if she found only 1% of men attractive. Most men don't have a problem keeping a girlfriend, but rather finding one. That's why the 80/20 rule is to their detriment. Moreover, when men are worried about their partner's n-count, they'r…

Because the juice isn't worth the squeeze for average/below average men. They can become objectively more attractive with modern day amenities, but relatively, in comparison to the top 20%, they've become uglier, at least in the eyes of women. So they just fall back on video games/porn/and junk food. Becoming and staying attractive takes a ton of effort for average men, and without any results they just lose the motivation to put in the effort.

Stop playing the victim. Slut, clingy, attention whore, gold digger, prude, bossy, plain Jane, Karen, etc. are all terms almost exclusively used for women. Creep, and nice guy are men's domain, that I agree. But other than that pretty much every social faux pas applies to women, often exclusively at that.

I never understood why people here, or elsewhere, try to disabuse trp or fds. They're clearly meant to be self congratulating echo chambers. That very indoctrination is what they're after, and not self improvement, or truth seeking, or whatever else. Pretty similar to a cult, you subscribe to its beliefs because you desperately want them to be true, and not because they actually are.

Because you haven't had the right kind of hookup. Apart from the superficialities like validation, gratification, and no strings attached ejaculations, there is a strong emotional side to it that no one talks about. The fact that someone is open to being vulnerable with you, within mere hours of meeting you, is an out of the world high. You get to be yourself, or even better pretend to be someone else, without giving a rat's ass about your insecurities. Over the course of a night, you go from be…

I'm not sure about them going back to abusive relationships. But some of them have stuck around so long with the abuse, that I feel sorry for them. Look at the posts on r/ twoxchromosomes, r/ relationship, and other dating subs. So many of them are about a long term abusive partner. It's surprising how long of a rope women give attractive men.

I don't ask any of them about their baggage. They pretty much open up about how their ex used to controlling/abusive etc., and how refreshing it is to date a nice person. It's as if they're telling me how much of a favor they're doing by giving a guy like me a chance. It's funny because some of them have come off really long relationships like >5 years. And when they talk about how long they stuck with the abuse, I feel almost sorry for them. I don't mind being their rebound, or rehab. It's some…

I've stopped looking for ltr in like forever. I doubt any of them would have opened up about their abusive ex, if we weren't dating casually. Although I'm kinky, I tend to ask them about what they're comfortable with, establish a safe word, don't get pushy etc. Apparently asking for consent and respecting their boundaries, makes me a nice guy. It's funny because it's almost a recurrent theme with me. I don't mind it, but it's like clockwork, she gets dumped and her self esteem is in the gutter. …

It's such a turn off when someone calls me nice. I've been with way too many women who dated me because I was apparently nicer than their abusive ex. As a short bald guy, I guess niceness is the only thing I have to offer. But you don't have to rub it in my face after I just came on yours. Being nice just gets you chicks who were recently dumped by their long term abusive Chad boyfriend. Somehow her fat friend convinced her to give nice guys a chance, and she does for a week or two, before anoth…

Without porn and video games, men wouldn't prefer to be sexless. They'd just dumpster dive. When I first started dating I was just excited to be with a real person than a pornstar. Once the newness wore off though, I realized as a short bald guy, I can either only attract overweight women, or low libido women. The juice just wasn't worth the squeeze. So it's a combination of both. Women aren't interested in 80% of the men interested in them. And men are happy to bide their time with video games,…

Holy shit you're the text book example of a tradcon wife who's loyal to her alcoholic abusive husband. Can't believe I wasted my time replying to someone who claims 'the devil uses sex to enslave us'. If you have history of childhood abuse as you're claiming, please go seek therapy. Nothing more grotesque than a man stuck in an unhappy/abusive relationship, who lacks the moral fibre to just get up and leave. Achievement doesn't mean unfettered sex. It could very well be finding someone more compatible to form a happy relationship with. I've seen quite a few attractive men taking shit from their gfs/wives without ever realizing they could easily find someone better if they wanted.

No attractive men is oblivious to the fact either You'll be surprised how many attractive men are actually oblivious to the fact that their looks are the key to their success in dating. So many of these men claim their self improvement, and their hard work is what made them Chads. It's pretty common to find these on FetLife, and other apps. As a dude there are two ways you get invited: have a hot female partner willing to participate, or have a way above average dick.

The public poly meetups, local sex dungeon, kink munches, swinger orgies etc. are full of 'ugly' people. Occasionally there are some attractive dudes who are single and new to the scene. And very rarely an attractive chick who's married to an old wealthy guy.

Over the course of a week perhaps, yes there are more men active on these apps than women. But overall the same percentage of women have been active on the apps in the past month or year. It's just that women join, get hundreds of matches, choose a guy or five, and then go offline. Return only when they've exhausted their dance cards. 20% of women, and 80% of men are perpetually online which results in that skewed gender ratio.
