Big pharma / FDA makes too much from diabetes, cancer, obesity; there will more than likely never be beneficial efforts by any governing body in America. Welcome to USA; take out a loan, get cancer and die.

Everyone has problems. Part of growing up is learning how to deal with and live with them, in as positive a manner as possible. Excuses are just self-reassurance for bad habits.

We're also not allowed to talk about what we think women really find attractive. You're immediately flagged as an incel or red pill extremist for sharing ideas or noticing patterns/trends. This is not to suggest blanket ideas are valid (AWALT), as they almost always aren't. It's a catch 22. Men can't share expierence without opposition, or having comments deleted, and I dont often hear of the gal explicitly telling the guy what she wants. We're suppose to figure it out.

Something as simple as a, "I like your braclet!", and thats it. Walk away. If they say thanks and talk about the braclet further, that paves way to more convo. Last weekend I told a gal at a concert I liked her braclets. We chatted about them for a little bit (I was wearing some too). I walked away. She found me later that night, ran up to me all excited and gifted me 2 of her bracelets. Probably won't ever see her again, but I'll wear them everytime I go out.

I go out of my way to compliment random people at bars (regardless of their looks). Both guy and gals, every single time their face lights up with a big ol genuine smile. It warms my heart. I've gotten so many countless drinks bought for me, and connections/friends, just by saying a few nice words. It takes so little effort to compliment someone. The world would be a better place if more of us did this.

Online dating has changed your options from a few hundred, to tens of thousands. Kinda like shopping at a huge grocery store, vs the local mom and pop. Too many options, too easily accessible. Too hard to make the "best choice", because its near impossible to make the "best" one in this environment, and people don't want to "settle". Vicious cycle. I don't see us getting out of it anytime soon.

It's difficult finding any unless you go out of your way to be involved in female dominated hobbies. The majority of gals I meet that are out are either there with some dude(s), or are already married / with female friends who are married.

The majority of gals have endless options due to a monolithic dating pool size, as a result of online dating. Lower tier males throw themselves at every gals inbox. Humans most always will prefer the higher end pick, which is not inherently wrong. If you got 200 messages in your inbox, why wouldn't you filter for the best of the best? Impossible to consider all options. I think gals are overwhelmed with options, which is why you're saying 'we have higher standards now'. Too many options to consi…

MGTOW was a little bit better about the toxicity, but the baddies still found and ruined it. Some dudes just want a supportive community for guy things. Why can't we have one?

Some of the original premises absolutely helped me navigate the dating scene. Though, you still had to sift through the info. For every good piece of advice, there was an absurd 'perspective truth'.

I absolutely agree. There are many 'dark triad' men who look for the same advice non dark triads do, for much different reasons of course. Incels too. Both end up in the same communities almost inevitably and ruin things because they scream much louder than anyone else. Makes any well socially adjusted male seeking advice, look bad by correlation.

I use to be pretty involved in red pill a few years ago. It started off as a movement to help men acknowledge their self worth, and to serve as positive guidelines for developing their skills, body, and mind; and also how to be a more attractive mate. A number of 'woman haters' began to infiltrate the community and turned it from a place of self growth, to a place to bitch about woman/ gripe about being an incel/dating woes. So now red pill is branded as that type of community. It's a shame. The…

Alot of gals like emotional stimulation. It doesn't matter whether they're positive or negative, as long as that bar keeps moving. Being with a level headed consistent person will have much less ups and down, gets boring being stagnant. A coke head abuser will often have more extreme emotional ups and downs. Its kinda exciting in a way. That excitement seems to outweigh the toxicity and mental conditions onset by such a relationship for many. This isn't the only factor, just one of many, and of …

Average don't cut it. Unfortunately most men are exactly that. Low end gals got a desperate fuck outta a hot dude one time, and now they permanently will never date under that threshold. They end up at 30, sad that they're lonely, and adopt cats. Meanwhile, most men have a -1 available female in the dating pool as a result, so they have an even harder time finding a mate and send more mass likes/messages out, trying to appeal a single female. Now females get bombarded with thousands of messages/…

Man, humans can truly be awful to each other. It's too bad we place little value on what we can control, and the most value on what cards we're dealt. Permanent deficit for just being born does little to encourage the soul. Godspeed anon. It doesn't please me that you're correct.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/21 12:43 AM

Different rules for different men. This is 100% accurate. They'll only put up with asshole traits if the asshole is hot. Somehow that makes it worth it to them. Me, being average? Hell no that won't work. There has to be much more tact involved.

I wish life had an equal satisfaction living purely with logic. Emotions, while encumbersome, do make for a deeper human expierence. It's tough completely removing them, but am unsure if its the most healthy thing to try and do so.

Confront and challenge the feels my guy. "Why am I feeling this way?" "In which ways do these feelings benefit me?" "In which ways do these feelings disadvantage me?" Be honest with yourself and you might start to uncover why you're in your predicament. Just because you feel them, does not make them valid, healthy, or good.

Most my life I feared going out alone (namely bars). I forced myself to start doing it 4 years ago. Best decision I ever made. Without company, you end up meeting a plethora of people since you're under no obligation to entertain or interact with one paticular person(s). It got to the point where only after a few months, I started enjoying going out alone more than going with friends. 10/10

It's proven beyond doubt woman will accept -any- trait that comes with a male, as long as they are attractive. I call it 'pretty baby syndrome'. Woman will sacrifice everything, just as long as their babies are pretty. Thats all that matters. Whats incredible is they aren't even guaranteed pretty babies hooking up with a chad. Beta males are similar though, they will often sacrifice anything to be with a pretty gal, much in the same way. Their resource expenditure is absolutely not indicative of…

Briffaults law / hypergamy. They gain whatever they can out of being with a guy, then immediately hop to the next one they perceive they can derive more benefit. It's a sad state of being that leads to perpetual loneliness, and being dependent on others so much means you're not dependent on yourself. Makes being single quite unbearable, hence so many go crazy post wall.

Drama scales with the woman's 'perceived' status.* I'd argue there are plenty of dillusional woman with a much higher perceived value, than actual. The drama scales just the same if not more for them (defending their ego). Brilliantly put. Never thought about it that way.

I was taking a logic class in college towards the end of our relationship. I began trying to deconstruct her thought process in simple q=p fashions (with some success). Trying to explain how a girls mind works to them is a fools errand. She never understood, or really "got it". I don't think she was even capable of it. Okay, I understand what you're trying to say, but why not keep it to posts of the same exact person directly contradicting themself. That has some merit, not two completely unrelated people saying two completely different things. It's low grade content.

Have you noticed this trend in popular media culture? Some references that come to mind are Harley Quinn from suicide squad, the emo kid from "The Umbrella Academy", and a few others I can't think of atm. Media culture seems to slowly but surely purport mental illness as cutsey or adorable. It's the absolute opposite.

Humans like things that are rare/unique. When you're single, you're available and there is plenty of you to go around. When you're in a relationship, suddenly you're unavailable and thus become rare and more desired. Basic psychology.

Buddy invites me to a strip club last week. I attended out of boredom. He kept asking if I wanted to "take home 2 strippers to bang tonight". His reaction to when I repeatedly denied the offer was amusing. He was questioning if I was really a guy. He didn't directly say "be a man" but he might as well have.

You might be interested in learning about "parasocial relationships"; essentially an emotional cruch for one party while the observed party doesn't even know they exist. Reasons for this behavior? Quite varied, but I believe a solid amount of it is related to the "halo effect".

I would like to think some of us men are doing our best to educate the young males in this world. We are our own support line. At the rate this movement is growing, I'm awfully curious what we will see in the next decade, but it's not going to happen overnight. We need to keep spreading the word and looking out for each other.

I'm a little over two years deep in this awakening process and still find myself talking to gals on a regular basis when I go out on weekends. The difference being I see right through their bullshit. This isn't to say all of them necessarily spew bullshit and I think it's important to not over generalize. I think editing women out of your life to this extent is a little over dramatic. Every single week I meet at least one female who dates an attractive dark triad male, even once for a quick fuck, and either end up pregnant/ with kids or no longer considers dating anything below that attraction level. When I challenge their notion, some of them openly admit to being "young and dumb", or "yeah that was stupid / shouldn't of happen", yet their own awareness of the fact does not change their mentality. More importantly, they're seemingly unable to convince their fellow females th…

Like dude, isn't this what we advocate for? We're not some homogonystic species of male. We don't necessarily "hate" woman, we just despise the majority who are nut heads. Again, as a rational male, yes, women are objectively dumb. But the few that are rational, are the few who are worth any effort. But those are EXTREMELY few and EXTREMELY far in between. If they provided us any reason to believe the opposite, as rational men, we would believe as such. But us as men who believe in logic and bas…

Can confirm. Just as all the other lads are suggesting, anytime I got comfortable with previous ex's and opened up about emotional struggles, it all went down hill. I think women get so sick of dealing with their own emotional bullshit, they instantly lose interest if you show any because they can't be bothered to have a heart. Yet we're suppose to be there 24/7 for them. Pathetic.

My mother was the abuser in my parents relationship. My father was the stoic, honorable man we should all strive to be more like. I lost my mother before I was even born. I've never known what genuine comfort is like from a female, only abuse. I would think the opposite to be true. Look at Japan, they have something like less than 4% of the population obese, because of the insane cultural frown upon of obesity. Whereas in America, some sources suggest 60+% are obese / overweight. I'm not convinced America is particularly rough on fat folks. If death could be even partially contributed to the stress of social shaming, I suspect we would see much younger death rates. I might be wrong about this, but you do bring up an interesting point.…

"INTENTIONS behind the action decide whether that action is alpha or beta. Intentions are the core of every single action you take in life and your final goals are based on simple building blocks which are your internal motivations (intentions)..... You're certainly correct on the whole being "normal" thing. I suppose one question could be is which came first? Low sexual reproductive value, or the pseudo-fantasy relationships. It makes me think of how a growing number of men are giving up on the whole "dating" game all together, because of the unreasonable demands by modern society. Perhaps the effort to become a desirable mate requires an increasing amount of effort, more so than the average man can adapt to, so fantasy relationships are b…

That's an interesting thought. Somehow I've not made that connection until now. As a sociologist, I wonder if this theory would help to explain the crisis of men, particularly in some Asain cultures. Virtual reality and the whole "waifu" thing might seem like reasonable options to all of the beta men that may otherwise have absolutely zero sexual gratification / outlets. I've always wondered how a relatively functional male could slip into sexual-virtual fantasy relationships.

I can definitely confirm this with a well made for himself friend of mine, while he has a more beta-ish mindset, he's incredibly intelligent and makes good money. A pretty girl he dated awhile back jumped ship to some more alpha looking guy who had way less going for him. I'm not sure he she was cheating on him at any point, but my suspicion led me to believe so - based on his stories.

Some females do go crazy when they can't tell your emotional state. Its largely because of the uncertainty factor and them trying to prepare their emotional state for potential future negative engagements, aka, anxiety. While unlogical, its a self defense mechanism. If you're with a girl who has this emotional anxiety, perhaps at least consider being somewhat open with them about feelings (if they're worth the effort). I could personally never date a girl with anxiety issues though. But yeah, I …

Sexual compatibility is one of three critical components, the other two being an intellectual and emotional connection. Each person, of course, requires varying amounts of the three. As a guy who swallowed the pill a few months ago, sex still means next to nothing for me. It's all about intellectual connection personally.

Thank you for this insight. It's fascinating how such a matter varies so greatly in different societies. I'm reading this as a white guy at a bar in America. You really have to make your own in America, as with anywhere else in the world, regardless of gender. Depending on location, the pressure is perhaps weighed more on one gender than another. It seems all kinda silly.

Unfortunately this wouldn't really work. Even if the top dogs are ceased to be available, the highest runner ups would be targeted next to which the cycle would simply continue. The top 10% would still likely get 90% of the sex. It's like if all the skinny, decent looking woman were made unavailable. All the average sized woman would be sought after instead of the fat ones.
