I can't think of any of those movies where the woman actually leaves her husband and kids to be with a "bad boy". It's more like "he was fun and mysterious, but he's actually disrespectful, dishonest, or incompetent".

I'd disagree with men's nature being against conspiring against women. Both sexes can be intentional assholes and commit planned crimes to either sexes. Men around the world can trap women into sex trafficking. I've known men start rumors about women to damage her image for work and socializing. Men can plot how to drug and gang rape women.

I thought he meant asking for her number as opposed to her social messaging app. Some apps have private messaging and public posting. I'd rather give that to a new person than have to get a new number because someone abused it.
