50/50 PLUS she would get to do almost/ all of the house work and child rearing while he outearns her. Yep. Seen this before

You can tell the date was shit for her, down to the sex. Love how he starts "I'm a motivated thinker" like the mediocre man he is and then says she's "lost" and "thinks" his way into a dead car situation, what a clown. Can't seem to puzzle this one together, can he? Seems like he thought he was the prize XD

This. OP makes some good points, being that pretty privilege can be a false sense of power within the patriarchy, that it can cost a lot to get as close as we can to a narrow beauty standard HOWEVER, it cannot be overstated enough that women who are better looking are more likely to get better income, as well as they will more easily be able to attract HVM. There are numerous studies that prove this. You are more likely to have a better quality of life due to income/ how you are perceived if you…

But you guys he CaN't HeLp It Who among us can be a functional adult and balance work, chores and the responsibility of children, which we signed up for when having them? Oh, ALL of US? Yep. He can't help but be a lazy mooch. Goes to show you how women shouldn't be Barb the builder because he is telling on himself; literally incapable of change, of helping his wife, of being an adult

Amen. Had an ex gift me a bulky ass cutting board for my bday, and also an (admittedly beautiful) cake platter. I never baked. I was generally the one to cook anything "complex" enough to need a cutting board. These should have, at best, been household buys. Don't let them get lazy and complacent and mooch off your gift ideas/ money you spent. They need to be able to think (and understand value by buying the things themselves), plan and execute

RIP. Imagine dying this young because some scrotes notice you and target you. This sad story plays all too often, I can't imagine how her family and friends must feel May those men rot

Even in my most Pickme of days I would never dream of procreating with a forever boyfriend, or a scrub. I have no idea why women think it's cute to pop out babies with useless men. I don't see the appeal. And then to brag about it or show it online? Big cringe

I'm not surprised. Rappers sing about actions like this all the time; sponging up all one woman has to give and discarding her like trash for the next lay. Don't support them

Agreed. It should never be part of a gift, but I'm torn on how I'd want it presented; in the first place, OP made a good point about men not understanding the cost and value of lingerie, so if it's for their eyes they should be the ones purchasing it. However, it's still a favor to them for us to spend all the time lacing that stuff up, putting it on, etc. Maybe if a man asked for this as his own gift, and paid for the lingerie? Idk, curious as to what others think.

This. This this this. I have periods and manage to clean up after bleeding I can't control. He can clean his own shit. And she does that multiple times a day? No wonder she resents him. If she was always vomiting in the sink or something and he had to clean out the chunks and at night sleep in the smell of vomit, do you think he'd stay in that relationship?? NO!! Hell, even if she cleaned up after herself he might find it too much. The toilet splatter is enough for me to say nope, but sleeping i…

Right. OK where's my man who is: -Breadwinner/Provider -Handsome -Masculine -Influential It's not that hard! What are YOU offering, sir

Did you the one where OP was a breadwinner and bending over herself to justify why the person at home shouldn't be expected to do all/ the majority of the housework? They had no kids and her husband was a layabout and she also did more of the chores. She seemed proud, and any time anyone (literally every comment) said that that doesn't make her special and she shouldn't expect most people to think that way, she got defensive Lol imagine a man being the breadwinner AND doing all the chores withou…

Seriously. Them tripping over themselves to justify how it's healthy and "beautiful" and just part of life to feel inadequate, ignored, competitive was just...sad. Pathetic and really sad. I felt bad for what they've been through that made them defend this because they think it's better than being alone

The top comments at least were like "this is sad and not OK" and then some Pickme-ass women were like "Oh no this isn't sad this is the beauty of liiiife and just relationship concessions we need to make" Sis what

"No one is dead, divorced, or even seriously injured. I count that as a win." What a low bar for a relationship. If that's the happiest I can expect to be in polyamory, no thanks

Those fools were laughing at you as they scrubbed the shit stains out of their long term boyfriend's crusty ass boxers before doing all the child rearing while he plays VidEo GaMeS and complains about the meal she made them. You pity them until they take those swings, then you just have to shake your head and laugh that they just don't realize the life they're living is significantly worse than being single

You can't control how others act or think, and you will never truly 100% know anyone else (plus, people change). You can only control yourself. Best to always have independence, and that includes financially and career-wise

So many people stress to communicate, but they don't really look at "is this relationship worth saving? Is this man worth working on the relationship for/ spending more time for?" A lot of relationship advice subs get mocked for the common advice to ditch the partner, but often it's good advice

Ew. Grounds for divorce Make sure you scope out losers like this EARLY. Introductions to kids should be after a significant amount of time and relation investment, and if he starts to pawn them off on you and game after marriage time for that parental agreement prenup you should make sure you get Edit to add: Tamara is 25. She is at the age where she hopefully will stop being a Pickme. Block and delete, hopefully she will own day realize her dad was a leech
