There's no way you'd expect someone to be sitting on 50-100k cash in a chase savings account, do you? If I need to dump my Vanguards (mutual and indexes, no Roth or other tax leveraged accounts), I can have it in my bank in 2 business days. It's not 100% liquid, but I'm not planning for the market to crash to 0 or to ever need more money day-of than I have credit.
