Fair enough. The begs the question: if women are able to hold a job and protect themselves, how is it an exclusive aspect of men in a relationship? Women don't exclusively seek out men for their ability to provide for them, you admitted that when you used said vast majority. If you believe that women do exclusively seek that out, then I think this conversation is over. Your last bit didn't change what I said? You brought absolutes into the conversation for no reason lol

I can't think of anything women exclusively bring to a relationship outside of literal childbirth. You're using inconsistent logic when you say men EXCLUSIVELY bring your stated aspects into a relationship while saying the vast majority of women seek out those traits. It's not an exclusive thing, and I think you're exaggerating women's desire for those to exclusively be provided by the men. I'd also like to point out men do seek out women to be home makers, especially in the fundamental Christia…

Personality traits aren't exclusive to either gender so I can't use any of those, sex isn't either so.. I may need a little help here... What do men EXCLUSIVELY bring to the table?

Pretty much any other personality trait? There are plenty of dummies within both gender, doesn't mean they're useless in a relationship though

Well, the baby daddy didn't bash the kids skull in. Maybe she had already told him to stay away, maybe he knew he wasn't ready for a kid and didn't want to be involved, the man is irrelevant to this idiots decision to have a child and then bash it's head in. Only thing I feel bad about is she was probably pressured by her family to keep when she should have had an abortion.

Okay, you just proved my point? The 9 styles are not necessarily toxic (like a rectangle is not necessarily a square), but toxic parents can follow any of the 9 styles (like how squares are rectangles). Like.. you just explained it back to me better than I explained it to you tbh. You're not acknowledging that an absentee father is better than a toxic father. That's the point I was trying to make. You can't force a dead beat to have a relationship with a kid and expect that to turn out. What mak…

Omg BRO. 1 – Authoritative: This is Baumrind’s healthy category of parenting. Authoritative parents are firm but not harsh or aggressively punitive. They are open to negotiation. They teach their children constructive relationship and adaptation skills. They love their children and are capable of tough love if needed. Their children grow up to be well-adjusted, independent, and capable of empathy—the cornerstone of healthy relating. How is that toxic??? The other ones create less well adjusted o…

The way I see it, if you know you'd be an ass to your kid it makes you a better person to not be involved in their life. Child support is still relevant because kids are damn expensive, but not being involved is way better than hurting a child's worth over and over again by showing disinterest or frustration when around them. You see it all the time on justnomil with grandparents. It's much better to cut them out than have the child wonder why the person treats them poorly.
/r/PussyPassDenied19/08/19 07:51 PM
2

I'm not even defending them! If they aren't involved in the child's life because they don't want to be, that's a good thing. Keep them away if they're dead beats omg 😂 Child support is one thing, but I don't consider that being a part of the child daily life. Okay, I should have used the analogy I deleted earlier. Saying that all the above are toxic parents, is like saying rectangles are squares. It's the other way around, my dude. Toxic parents can be any variety; authoritative, permissive, etc…

I can't imagine why you think a frazzled burnt out mother is on the same level as the characteristics described in #10, or why you think the other 9 parenting style examples are toxic LMAO. The only explanation is that you didn't read it, or you're fighting so hard not to be wrong that you're willing to contradict earlier statements. The mental gymnastics it takes to say you are defending abuse victims is astounding. There is no reason to force someone who does not want to be involved in a child…

Okay, I'm not the only one then. Like.. I've never had a bad thing happen to me tbh, but I understand the difference between having a bad day and being a toxic person!
/r/PussyPassDenied19/08/19 06:06 PM
2

Exactly. It's hard to change, even harder to help someone else change. Seriously though, did you see them saying frazzled burnt out mom's are toxic?? I'm not crazy for thinking that's wrong, am I? That's really what is getting me at this point. They don't even know what a toxic mother is.

Omg, tiny blonde dragon 😅 And yeah, I helped my SO through cutting out his toxic mom. He just now reached out to reconcile after his sisters confirmed she's improved and started medication. We waited 6yrs lmao. I still don't trust the bitch, she still hasn't said the words "I'm sorry" 😒.
/r/PussyPassDenied19/08/19 05:25 PM
2

idk why you're claiming it's my definition. If you care, scroll down to #10. If you insist upon ignoring the facts, this convo. is over. It's just really unbelievable that you would claim a mother who's burnt out and gets snappy is toxic lmao. That happens to more than just single mothers, my dude, and it's truly an unfair way* to view those mothers.
/r/PussyPassDenied19/08/19 05:20 PM
1

I'm sorry you had to go through that. I don't think this person claims mother's can't be abusive, and it's apparent from their last response they don't even know what a toxic person is. Lucky them, right? 😒 My own experience is only second hand too! I can't imagine what you had to go through, and I hope you have better people around you now.

I'm fully acknowledging that absent fathers can create a long lasting emotional hardship on a mother. The defining factor between a toxic person and a normal person going through a hard time, is acknowledging that hurting their children due to their emotional trauma is wrong and seeking help to stop that behavior. If an abandoned mother cannot take responsibility for their emotional state and allows themselves to remain toxic, they are to blame. The father can be blamed for abandoning their chil…

Lmao The toxic treatment of the child falls onto the person treating that child toxicly. You can get technical and blame the toxic behavior on anything from mental illness, shitty childhood, single Parenthood, etc., but the blame falls on the toxic person. There is no reason to focus on the cause, other than in therapy. And that would be seeking help. But the mother's who never seek help and maintain a toxic environment cannot sit back and point fingers at the cause while doing nothing. Father's…

As the adult in the situation, you are responsible for handling the emotional stress of abandonment and protecting your child, not taking out your emotional problems on them. There are TONS of support groups and programs, especially for single mothers. If you're struggling to give your child affection and development because you were abandoned by the father, you need to seek help. "You" as in w/e mother tried to blame their toxicity on the father

Yeahh, tumblr is very much full of teen girl angst against the patriarchy. It's where all the extremist feminist stuff comes from tbh, but it's still such a small percentage of the internet. At this point though, hardly anyone (especially on Tumblr) talks about toxic mother's regardless of cause. And if you visit justnomil or raised by narcs you'll find plenty of toxic women who were never single mothers. Tumblr is just very... Small minded about things sometimes. To see a post state "you aren't ready for this discussion" and the person's first response is only about putting the cause of toxicity back on men, and not about support for victims, or any other kind of acknowledgement, s…

AND the 50% he claimed is from the 1990 census and has gone down significantly. Here is the link from the article. These are not normal sections of society. The stats in the article are completely disenguenous. They're from 1990 and don't cross reference to black victimization or cause-ation. It sounds like the article is just trying to fear monger it's readers to be weary of black people. If you look at ALL of the stats, you will see too rightfully fear gang members and drug dealers though. I'm not trying to too defend this girl btw, she is talking out her ass. I think a fine and record of sexual offense would be a great law and punishment for teachers who masturbate in schools. It's a behavior that suggests a certain level of risk taking and sexual deviancy I would want away from children. How do you feel about pedophiles who don't make child porn but partake and distribute it? Genuinely curious, not trying to make a point

Where is there a specification on sq footage? I'm looking at the penal code definition of public place and don't see it listed... It also is not limited to the listed examples . Dude, did you read any further than the piece that suits you? Under Texas Penal Code Section 21.07, it is illegal for you to knowingly engage in the following in a public place, or in the presence of a person who will be offended or alarmed: Sexual intercourse Deviate sexual intercourse Sexual contact Any contact between a person’s mouth or genitals and the anus or genitals of an animal or fowl To fully understand the law, you must take a closer look at the definitions of each of these actions. …

You don't think it's reckless to masturbate in unlocked rooms during school hours? Even if she intends to lock the door and forgot during that teachers lounge session, the fact that she forgot shows the risk of doing this during school hours. Edit: All of your points ignore the fact that someone who intentionally masturbates in public is a sexual deviant. Considering her chosen public space is around children, her specific sexual deviancy puts children at risk. I claim your white knighting becau…

You moved the goal post, but I'll answer this anyway. Masturbation falls into the sexual contact with any object in the description of public lewdness. I would say any sexual activity during school hours in parts of the school at high risk of interaction with other school attendees would count as deviating from conduct expected of a person in that space. Edit: It really seems like you're white knighting this person

The problem is their whole marketing scheme was built around what it is to be a man. Very similar to make-up marketing, and it's all just stupid bill shit. You can't let an ad sway your core values, it should just be about your particular brand choice. I don't mean to completely take the blame away from these companies though. I wasn't referring specifically to the law, bud. Just the literal amount of consequences the men vs the women faced. The men involved were hit back and charged. The woman was hit back and no charges filed even though she started the whole thing. At most, a half-denial. At this point, I will harp on about the law. The long term consequence of an assault charge is way worse than getting a punch in the back that didn't even stop the altercation. The difference between men and women in the eyes of t…

It should be on her permanent record that she's a violent person. That's where the real pass comes into play. You can be charged and not receive jail time.

Yes lmao Wouldn't encourage anyone to stand there to take punches until you break and hit them back. That was retarded. I don't consider this a pussy pass denial, they'll probably even get back together. He should dump her ass, take his shit, lock her out, w/e. The BEST thing to do to these women is take away their attention supply, otherwise you just give them ammo.

I think it's more that his mom gave him a sense of entitlement by giving him food instead of his brother. You know she was rationalizing it somehow, it must have been telling the jock kid he deserved it. It would be incredibly hard to break a person of that sense of entitlement. Not trying to excuse the behavior, he should be held accountable for w/e jerky actions, but it's hard to blame him. Therapy would be a great idea!!

I think it looks worse than it was based on her mugshot. He definitely hit her in the face. If it had been a punch, it would have left a mark. But it was a slap, and she was drunk so she flopped. Idk what else to tell you.

I sincerely agree with the sentiment that officers are public servants and the decisions to use lethal force have gotten out of hand. I agree that cops should be held to a higher standard when it comes to reacting to physical altercations. They have so much power just on the books, they have to be disciplined! I totally see your point here. There's a huge issue with police brutality that I think follows this exact lack of discipline. Too many officers react when they shouldn't. The reason I posted this in this sub though, is because I feel like a male offender would have been treated worse and too often female offenders get away with this behavior. I just thought it fit the sub nicely, and showed she got charged

I appreciate that! I just feel like he's missing my points? Idk, I felt like I provided good content and want to defend that lmao

I saw the video in another sub and looked into it via Google. The video posted didn't have shit about what actually went on. Like.. you're completely ignoring the fact that only the video was posted and I posted a related article that includes the video lol Also, I honestly didn't know reposting encompassed cross-posting... I thought you meant literally reposting on this sub... My bad

I didn't know it was a repost until after I posted it lmao.

Okay.. so do exactly what the other guy did and get completely shat on instead of posting an article with the video + info about the girl getting charged? Got it.

Well, the post on the other sub was just the video. I linked the article showing for sure her pass was denied and the cop was fine. This video by itself was reposted shortly before mine and everyone jumped on that guy and called him stupid lol I didn't even see that one until after I posted this

I think it's because it looks like he knocked her out. Like, yeah she was drunk, of course she's going to flop* around after getting smacked upside the head lol Her mug shot shows her face looking fine though. It really annoys me that they kept flip flopping between he "punched her" and "slapped back"....

God that's ducked up. Same for women though, they won't do more thorough birth control methods if you're too young. "But don't you want children???" No. No I do not

I don't think it's that often that girls are So offend they literally fight back. Those are just the psychos. I get offended sure, but I wouldn't put hands on anyone else. Might also be fear tho. Like, it can be hard to remember that the guy who grabs your ass can also probably just pick you up and do whatever if he felt like it and no one was around to stop him. This isn't some "all men are rapists" rant, like, I know the vast majority of men would not do this. But most men physically could. An…

Oh, absolutely! I'm sorry if I came across differently lmao Women's fashion is so varied it's unbelievable. It's literally the only reason I ever look at a magazine or Google red carpet events. Wearable art

I was thinking the american music awards lmao Met Gala would be the most elegant strays from tradition, but not the craziest.

Exactly, it would be a real shame if those designers weren't acknowledged. I do think you're misrepresenting the men's fashion though. Especially the young musicians! There are plenty who stand out and don't go the traditional black tux route I'm just kind of a fangirl* about it tho Edited out "nerd" because I think you have to be actually knowledgeable and not just look at all the pretty pictures to be considered a nerd

Hahahaha There are navy blue and white tuxedos! Also the fabric and cut can be different! Don't get me started on the ties though

The commenters also ask* who the men are wearing anyway. Red carpet events are a showcase for fashion, that's why they ask! That actress* is just vain lmao

No one got together and decided it. It's not a fucking thing. Catty comments from anyone regarding your outfit is not a restriction. So why is this lady claiming it's a male privilege to wear the same outfit? She's flat out wrong, and turning women's issues into a joke. Women do still face issues in society, but things like this overshadow the real issues. There is no space at the gendered issues table for petty shit.

These are my fave, maybe the law denying it is actually the best though?

If I ever have a son this will be my plan lol Not if he can understand though, because I don't him to think i think that...? idk, awesome snark though

The time was not right for the potential humor in this situation. The guy is clearly still distraught. Also, the point still stands that if the genders were reversed, no one would have laughed

True, but it was probably a really traumatic experience for him. That's why it's not funny

That's what makes me most mad about "gender equality". If you want it to be equal, then make it equal. There are absolutely women who could pass the male fitness standard. They should have never lowered it to boost female numbers. The women who failed should have trained harder, it's just that simple! Sorry, I kinda hijacked your comment to rant
