I'm not sure it is necessary to break it down into "waves". We oppose the feminism that exists now. Those forms of it that existed in the past are not particularly relevant in the present, not in Western culture anyway. Nobody is opposing early feminist positions like giving women the vote or whatever. Acting like it is noble to defend elevating women's status is pointless unless you want to go to Asia or Africa and fight for women's rights there.

It happens man. I've had friends who got into the feminism, and after a while they were just gone, not their old selves, and yeah could not spend 5 minutes with me without talking about how sexist I am because I enjoy sex, or what a pig I am because I don't think women deserve special treatment men don't receive, so privilege much wow that I have a dick, blah blah. Totally immune to rational arguments like longer prison sentences for same crimes, military draft, lack of reproductive rights, wage…

Love how it is all about shaming & social conditioning. Never mind our biological evolution over millions of years. I'm sure that has nothing to do with gender differences.
