Brother you're looking at this all wrong. Self improvement is a great thing, but doing so for external approval will never make you happy. Relax a bit, and try to ground your self esteem in your own eyes and not those of others.

It might be worth enquiring about his positions, and then non-threateningly applying the Socratic method to them. It won't change his mind in the process, but it could be effective in planting seeds of doubt. Note: before you do this it would be wise to read up on the main redpill talking points and their refutations. Deprogramming someone from cult-like beliefs is **very** difficult.

IIRC he actually married a 30+ yr old woman he met in a nightclub (which goes even MORE against the bs he spews lol). Yeh 100% the advice would probably give young men a higher n-count, but would make their lives absolutely miserable as the cost.

There's loads of debates and stuff he's being doing around this topic. Here's a good one of him absolutely dismantling the creator of The Red Pill itself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1a1Wy4gues&t=12s&ab\_channel=Destiny

Possibly, I've been watching Destiny do wonders in revealing how this ideology is a complete house of cards.

You're pedestalising women. Try and read literature/seek therapy on how to develop self-esteem and confidence and then just be yourself. It's meme'd a lot, but it is the best approach.

TRP's ideology is inherently hierarchical, so it follows that it falls inline with right-wing political beliefs.

Totally agree. It could also be due to feelings of low self-worth.

Game will most likely get you more attention from women on average. The issue is, you'll attract the kind of women who are attracted to game: not the kind of girls you want to date. I've had times where I was smashing like crazy trying to be someone I wasn't, and had a girlfriend being someone that I was. I'll take the latter 100 times over.

That 20% thing comes from OKCupid. I get fuck all matches online, but many find me attractive in person. Don't worry about this rule dude there are plenty of ugly guys who are smashing like crazy.

I actually read a study on this that was very interesting. As I recall: Women find preferred dominant assholes over kind, submissive men. Women preferred prestigious kind men over dominant assholes This suggests that whilst dominance is more attractive than kindness, prestige with kindness is the most attractive of all.

Yep: that's cults for ya. Is commonplace for cults to crackdown on criticism and dismiss those who criticise the ideology as being defective/deficient/evil in some manner. TRP does this in the form of calling anyone who criticises the ideology as "beta" and "Unable to accept red pill truths".

Liking the fact that you're a virgin is a red flag imo: it suggests reactionary attitudes towards gender roles. With regards to waiting until marriage for sex: it's risky imo because you won't find out if you're sexually compatible until you have sex and sexual compatibility is crucial for a stable long term relationship. Make sure he respects your decision either way (which based on your post it looks like he doesn't imo).

I think you do need a movement for it, because it promotes a positive self-image for body types that are not considered conventionally attractive

The rise of people like Andrew tate is a result of modern day feminists failing men, with respect to masculinity (i.e. correctly criticising toxic masculinity but failing to provide alternatives) and dating prospects inequality. I'm not well informed on the former, but body positivity movements for men (amongst other things) can help rectify the latter and make dickheads like Andrew Tate less appealing.

Redpill/Blackpill stuff is bullshit lad. The explanations for phenomena they expose there are socioeconomic in nature and not due to biology. Seriously mate the best thing you can do is to just not visit these forums, work on improving your self-esteem/confidence, and going out to meet people in person. I'm a 6/10 by conventional beauty standards. When I lacked confidence I got no attention whatsoever. Now I'm very confident, and I get a lot of attention from women when I talk to them in person …

Take things one step at a time my man, at the core of it girls are just guys with different parts. So just talk to her like you would to a dude (except a dude you wanted to date). As for asking her out, just do it lad she's either interested or she isn't and you'll find out by just asking her.

I understand your point, but I feel as though I need to say that it's probably not great to call men who are sexually unsuccessful losers. Many men take their struggle to get laid/find a gf to heart and it really fucks their self-esteem/confidence, and I believe calling them losers feeds into this and leads to more male suicides. I think slut-shaming women is inexcusable, and I think maidenless shaming men is equally so.

I suspect that there is a difference in sex drives as a result of different hormone levels of men, but I don't see any hard evidence of innately different biological wiring in the brains of the two sexes. It could be the case though, just that it doesn't really seem like it at this point in our scientific understanding With regards to my comment about this rates going up in the past 10 years, I was referencing data that is showcased in this article. https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2019/0…

On average, it is an objective fact that men are privileged in many respects. No one is claiming that every man is more privileged than every woman. When people talk about the privilege of demographics they're always referring to on average (unless they're retarded).

> The cause isn't clear (war, harems, etc.) but the imbalance always existed. The assertion that this imbalance has happened in the past is absolutely correct. The assertion that this imbalance has always existed is not. > It wasn't until recently that women had the option to refuse the man selected for her by her family. This is completely irrelevant. Whilst this did happen >100 years ago, the explosion in male sexlessness has occured over the last 10 years. > "You are promoting the same th…

> As an aside - I do believe if we stop policing women’s sexuality, we naturally would get more women comfortable with having more sex. That could be a solution. This is a very good solution, although more need to accompany them.

You, right now, are promoting the same bullshit biological determinism that The Red Pill promotes and that actual evolutionary psychologists deny/warn about. > It's not accurate to call it a "privilege" when it isn't something women want and it is caused by men's excessive desire for women in the first place What the fuck yes it is. Let's say I happened to have many box set collections of some TV show. Just because I may not care about that TV show does not invalidate my being able to watch it a…

Right now, you are engaging in whataboutism. Imagine, for a minute, that a topic of the greatly increased risk of sexual assault that women face and some guy brought up how men have a harder time getting laid. I would be offended by that, because it serves to derail discourse and prevents solutions from being reached with regards to sexual violence women face. You, right now, are doing that with men's increased difficulty to find any women, period. You mentioned that a lot of men don't make the …

Yes, you are correct in that women get a lot of unwanted attention from some fuckin weird ass guys. I, myself, I'm bisexual and so I have experienced a fair bit of this on grindr myself. I imagine that you would like men to stop being so desperate on dating apps that they act like fuckin weirdos. Combating the difficulty with which straight men find any partners at all will go a long way to resolving this. I myself, am arguing that the relative radio silence attention that men get is the worse o…

There's a lot to cover there, and you said a lot of correct things (particularly when it comes to why women are more risk averse sexually) which I'll address later when I have the time, but for now I want to say this. You and I are both fully aware that if we were both to go on Tinder, right now, and start swiping that you would get a lot more likes than me (or the average man). I want to adamantly state that at no point was I implying misandry of the part of women. Far from it. I don't believe …

To answer your second point, obviously not. The solutions, amongst other things, is to combat the rates of male loneliness in addition to combating the society-wide pervasive social construct of women being inherently more sexually/romantically valuable than men. I.e. promote equality. Furthermore I would like to point out that by refusing to acknowledge that there is an inequality between the sexes when it comes to the sexual marketplace, you are seceeding this space to the manosphere and the…

This is absolutely, empirically false. Within the past decade rates of male sexlessness have risen >20% whereas female rates of sexlessness have risen by approx. 3%. Source: https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2019/03/29/share-americans-not-having-sex-has-reached-record-high/

Whilst this is *technically* correct, we both know full well that I am referring to the incel community. Many of these people follow the same ideology as is espoused on incel forums. Playing a semantics game when we're both fully aware that there is a very large community of involuntarily celibate men coined "incels" is nought by obfuscation. Cut it out.

Furthermore, something that actually helps to build self-confidence is to simply fake it when you're not feeling confident. It sounds like bullshit, but there's strong psychological literature on it and it worked like mad for me!

This is poor self esteem man. What helped me a lot when I felt the way that you do is to see a therapist, and a book called The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem helped me a ton too. There is a dichotomy that emerges when it comes to dating apps (i.e. a small proportion of men get the majority of the likes). This dichotomy; however, is explained by dating apps simply being a buyers market for women, as opposed to the red pill explanation of hypergamy. Outside of dating apps, there's very sparse evidence for it.
