Have you spent enough time in both Turkey and George to make this comparison? I have a suspicion that you're making your claims by looking at a map and not from personal experience, but that's just a guess.

Thank you. I think we're way too eager to label idle rumination about the past and everyday worries about the future as mental health issues - which leads to further anxiety ("should I be feeling this way?") and down the path to medicating normal feelings away.

Here's something I found with a quick search. I've seen more recent info elsewhere, though. http://www.economist.com/node/12755557 - Where people are most, and least, promiscuous

That does sound more reasonable. However, my reaction is similar. There is usually more than one way to achieve a goal. Sometimes, those ways may be drastically diffent, and different ones suit different people. So; some might fake it til tthey make it, others practice the ideas on this page. I think you'd find such diversion of opinion on just about anything.

People with different opinions sometimes post in the same subreddit. Mind-boggling! But seriously, think about what you said. "seddit is so contradicting". Why wouldn't it be? Is it one entity that pushes out advice? You might be able to say something like that if you were talking about a publication from an author; blog, book, etc. But you're talking about a community of people who will invariably have different opinions.

Same here. A progression of alcohol intake, from 0% (sober) to 100% (let's say, throwing up), I get sleepy until 25%, angry until 50%, fun until 60%, and then too disoriented/confused to have fun, until throwing up at 100%.

I love it when men grab my hand and force me to come with them, it's sexy. There's a certain comedian that comes to mind...

There sa guy at my workplace just like this. It's embarrassing to see him being so excited about what he made for breakfast.

If guys stopped wasting their nights trying to get with them, do you think these two sober girls would stop coming to the club?

Even better, find a place to rent from. For practice and self-teaching, I rented a bass for about $20/month, a cheapo acoustic guitar for $15, drum kit for $30+. It feels like theft at times.

If they're doing weights tell them they're doing it wrong and show them. ... what if they're not doing them wrong? =/ Seems presumptuous to say that you would know better than them.

I thought that you were parodying other field reports that included excessive amounts of detail and little to no useful content.

I think you should use more acronyms in the post titles, it would help people understand what you're saying.

I agree, especially the "dance lesson" part. I can't think of a single floor that I've been on (ok, aside from middle and high school) in which the volume of the music was quiet enough to allow you to say more than a few words - and that's by yelling into a person's year up-close. Where in the world could this idea work? Have you seen it work? =/

While I somewhat agree with you, the phrase "long-term strategy" makes it sound like a stock market investment :P

Really, any city next to a mountain that stops all the clouds will do. (Is that called "rain shadow"? Grade 9 geography was a while ago) At the same time, it's these cities in which women willeither have an umbrella or not care about getting wet!

But dinner plans in one night? You've already been on one date today. Try demonstrating some higher value and claiming prior plans tonight. Make her wait a few days and she'll raise your value in her mind in the interim. Now she thinks she has you around her finger. I don't see anything wrong with it. Maybe it's not right according to the theory of DHV, but he's definitely having fun with it right now instead of waiting for a few days or making excuses for why he's busy tonight.

anybody that has had a girl go down on them when they haven't showered in 2 days Oy, I don't think I could ever let that happen :P

It's probably pointless to say "it depends on the person", as it so obviously does. For me, someone who's on the shy side of the outgoingness spectrum, it absolutely wouldn't work. I would take it as a sign of you attempting to reject me, maybe playfully.

Yet you like a "wild emotional adventure"? Eek! That's definitely the kind of girl that I would want to stay away from.

Good suggestion. I use a very similar "mantra": "Don't be a pussy". I have it written down in a few places and it works great when I see it.

Agreed. Perhaps if there could be a system where both partners look up to each other then it would work out.

Interesting, but I can't imagine touching a bus driver. They seem to be seated quite far away and you'd have to reach over and.. just weird. Otherwise, very interesting and I will try this. It will definitely be uncomfortable at first.
