I think you are mixing apples and pears. I'm pretty sure OP was talking about something slightly different, and from a dating POV, i.e. a woman is able to open up and be vulnerable however much she wants, yet when a man does it many women find it repulsive and lose attraction for the man. Unrelated but, not sure how it works from a married person's perspective but damn, what kind of a person have you married if the hubs doesn't participate in remembering birthdays, buying gifts, driving kids to …

Pardon the ignorance, but what's the point of this post? Sure, women have more options, especially in an online world full of dating apps and crazy high standards for men to earn X much, be X tall, have X hobbies, etc. These are the cards our generation has been dealt. What will complaining about it solve? And to be fair all throughout history men were the ones stuck in a gender role where they need to prove their worth (not sure where I heard it but men, save their mothers, can never be loved u…

I think you are vastly generalizing. I can't speak for women, but I don't know many men who are that desperate to have a priority list as you described above. Most guys from my friends circle (including me): good relationship > casual hookups/fwb > single Bad relationship isn't even up for consideration.

I wouldn't necessarily label women as prizes. And you're looking at the "prize" from the wrong angle - it can be a stable relationship, someone to root for you through thick and thin, laughters, cries, and everything in between. If you're into renting hot girls that leave afterwards, then by all means disregard everything I said. Edit: grammar

The singles market nowadays is one big competition between men. The best-looking, fittest, wealthiest, etc. men get the hottest girl (I'm overgeneralizing a bit, but if a man has absolutely nothing going for himself, no woman in history has ever went for a guy like that - the reason being purely biological and hardwired into our brains for hundreds thousands of years) It's always been like this, but with the rise of dating apps (and the fact that most people use them nowadays) the balance of pow…

The only way out is death. You trying to get the already high suicide rates even higher? What's the point of doing a super marriage if you went past the 7-year itch? And since people love throwing the word "social construct" so much nowadays, to whole concept of a materialistic marriage (marriage in general) is one huge social construct and one of the biggest marketing plots in history. You think men were dumb enough just 100-150 years ago to spend some insane numbers on a ring? SuperWeddings …

I was quite sure what the term pity sex would mean, but still had to google it to make sure it wasn't some cool new drug. You mean women are actually willing to give up their bodies when "wimpy and moaning soft-boys" beg for it? And the "wimpy and moaning soft-boys" will rather swallow their pride and take pity sex over staying dry?

Say they want young women but most guys actually date around their age I feel like most men mean this one though! Most are not able to secure a younger woman.

While I agree with your points, I think the matter is quite the opposite. It's not that people think THEY are the top 1 percentile, but rather, because of being brainwashed by social media and prohibitively retarded standards on SNS, people believe that OTHERS in the actual 1% are average. Following your example, an average woman will probably know she is average, but when she sees an average man, she would probably look at him as the bottom 10%. The same goes for men looking at average women.

How about the fact that men run the risk of having their woman divorce them, as 80% of divorces are started by women? The same number being for household violence, where 80% of women are the aggressors? And again the same number goes for child custody being awarded to the mother. Just because a woman carries a kid for 9 months doesn't mean she should by default have custody of it if she is a horrible mother. For household work, I'm not sure where you got that from (or which country you are from)…

Thanks for the post man. You sound like someone who's done a fair number of reps with cold approaches. Mind sharing what might be the best openers for a couple of the situations (i.e. the library, park, while hiking, just out walking on the street?) I'm based in Asia though, so women here are way less receptive to cold approaches, but honestly that's why I care even less, cause nobody else is doing it here.

I think most of the stuff has already been said in the comments, especially how virtually any woman, regardless of looks can find a partner (whether it be online, in a bar, church or on the Moon). The three things I'd like to add: Most content online nowadays is connected to money, and the logic goes like this: more searches = more money -> men = more horny (on average) & unable to get laid at the most random whim = more likely to look for partners & less likely to be successful = more likely to…
