Just why I believe people have children in the first place and why I believe men and women alike increasingly aren't wanting children. I'd bet money what I wrote applies to the overwhelming majority of people who don't want children in the western world. We live in an increasingly secular, liberal (as in the original definition), hedonistic, consumer capitalist society which greatly encourages career, focus on self gratification and more and more views children as a burden, something which gets in the way of life.
