1	Population collapse and dating Sorry for the late reply I never got a notification. This isn't really about going back to anything. Just why I believe people have children in the first place and why I believe men and women alike increasingly aren't wanting children. I'd bet money what I wrote applies to the overwhelming majority of people who don't want children in the western world. 2	Population collapse and dating I disagree about nothing other than 'force will make them'. Nothing in society just happens, every single person is socially conditioned. We live in an increasingly secular, liberal (as in the original definition), hedonistic, consumer capitalist society which greatly encourages career, focus on self gratification and more and more views children as a burden, something which gets in the way of life.
