I'm well aware that they've been around for a long time. But they've only recently become fashionable. If a person becomes a vegan to follow fashion then it is a fad diet for that person. Veganism is currently fashionable and women to follow fashion more than men. Also women seem more susceptible to "fad" diets than men. They should do another survey in about a years time because I guarantee most of these "fashion vegans" will have moved on by then.

My wife was in hospital for almost 10 months. I visited her every single day including weekends. I was working a full time job, running the household finances, cooking, cleaning etc. I don't expect a fanfare or any kind of recognition; it's just what you do when you love somebody. What I don't expect is this nonsense. What am I saying? This is exactly what I expect from these spoiled little princesses!

She built up London at the cost of developing the rest of Britain, shutting down mines and manufacturing, shipbuilding large chunks of the steel industry all over the UK. But she was right in breaking the power of the unions. Unions should exist to protect workers rights etc but they were misusing that power for political ends. Thatcher did some good and some bad. As with all things it's never black & white. Ultimately it was North Sea Oil that saved the UK economy though.

Thanks, I believe that was always a bone of contention for RMS. I've been using it on an off for nearly 25 years and for some reason GNU/Linux has never really stuck as a name. Could be laziness or may be it just sounds better or maybe it's just easier to remember.

It very much has. But I'm old and remember Windows 3.1 so i just couldn't resist a cheap shot :-) I recall some years ago when the source code for Windows 2000 was leaked a lot of the open source community were pleasantly surprised and even quite impressed by the quality of the code :-)

"Toxic Masculinity" is a way of rebranding bad behaviour so that it looks like only men do it. Bullying is referred to as Toxic Masculinity but women do it too. Sexism is called Toxic Masculinity but women do it too. Sexual assault and rape are called Toxic Masculinity but women do those too. It diverts attention from women's bad behaviour and lets feminists blame all the world's problems on men. That is why the term Toxic Masculinity exists, it serves no other purpose.
