Don't know if you have a meditation practice or not, but mine has enabled me to do exactly that. Just feel, don't dwell. A feeling, a thought, a sensation comes up; you simply acknowledge it. You don't push it away, you don't hold on to it. Just let it be there. It goes away. Repeat.
