When I left my ex I told him - you’re very handsome, you’re so hard working, you’re extremely stylish, you’re creative, you’re interesting, you’re funny, you’re intelligent. You’re all of those things but you’re also choosing to be emotionally abusive so I’m leaving. IMO I delivered it well and with heart, but it didn’t stick.
