Thanks It's Bad enough that wasting a 4000k retainer might get me back over triple that. I'm going to need that for my kids to start over. For their quality of life.

Thanks. Disparity in income between us in her favor. Spousal support child support etc has been a no go for her. It's not even discussed. "We don't have to go down that path". I think she counts on me being nice and why would a man want that. I don't want this to escalate into a divorce hellscape. But it might. Am I wrong for thinking if the shoe were on the other foot it would be a different story?
