New male contraceptive is safe, effective and inexpensive â but no company has agreed to sell it; maybe we should crowdfund and start our own companyHave you looked at the stitching?? | 1 | New male contraceptive is safe, effective and inexpensive â but no company has agreed to sell it; maybe we should crowdfund and start our own companyThose are different types of fraud. The ones in the US are mostly around reimbursement and the rather broad definition of what constitutes a false claim (i.e. giving off label information even if completely truthful and supported by studies was considered fraudulent because it was not approved by the FDA). In India, there have been numerous instances of patients not existing or data being otherwise simply falsified. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/17 05:18 PM
New male contraceptive is safe, effective and inexpensive â but no company has agreed to sell it; maybe we should crowdfund and start our own companyIf you honestly believe anything is 100% safe and/or 100% reversible - please stop by my place in NYC. There is a great bridge I want to sell you. On a more serious note: Most things that are claimed to be safe simply havent been adequately studied. India is great and has some cool things. But, they have a notoriously bad reputation for clinical research in that there have been numerous instances of fraud. This isnt to say that all their research is fraudulent (of course it isnt) - its just that… | /r/MensRights | 02/04/17 09:59 AM
Has there ever been a culture where gender norms regarding dating/mate choosing are flipped? One is getting "dicks thrown [at you]" and the other is choosing the dick who will stay with you forever. I see a difference. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/01/15 02:54 PM
Has there ever been a culture where gender norms regarding dating/mate choosing are flipped?I think of arranged marriages to be not about about finding potential partners, but actually choosing the potential partner to spend your life with. I guess the words "passively wait" were the words that got to me. The only passive part of an arranged marriage on the part of the bride or the groom is the initial sifting. After that, it is effectively dating but with someone who likely has very similar values to you (and were hence thought to be of potential interest to you.) | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/12/14 12:19 PM
Has there ever been a culture where gender norms regarding dating/mate choosing are flipped?Women chooses amongst competing men -- as opposed to men choosing who will be their bride. Sure sounds kinda different to me. I wonder if it gets lost in translation somehow. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/12/14 03:50 AM
Has there ever been a culture where gender norms regarding dating/mate choosing are flipped?Depends on what you mean by arranged marriage. The marriage you are describing sounds almost like a forced marriage. Arranged marriages are often more akin to a blind date. Parents act as a filter choose what may be a good fit, but then you get to pick. Source: Known people in many, many, many, (did I say many?) arranged marriages. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/12/14 02:42 AM
Has there ever been a culture where gender norms regarding dating/mate choosing are flipped?India had a custom for swamvaras - men sit and have a woman choose amongst them. Is this kinda what you were thinking of? Primarily done by Queens to choose amongst kings. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/12/14 02:41 AM
| 1 | Need advice on a woman's studies class. As someone who writes these assignments (for totally different subjects), (and is admittedly dealing with students who keep trying to "buck" the assignment) - do the assignment. She is unlikely to submit your writeup to anyone. She wants to see if you can write well. This isnt you submitting to a "female overlord". This is you finishing an assignment!
