I’ve had multiple therapists and psychiatrists. I like the one I have now, who is male. I have had males and females I have liked and not liked. Feel free to ask me anything

Yeah yeah whatever. Everyone knows this shot would be MAD different if it was a guy stabbing a girl. Stabbing someone in the fucking head is kinda a big deal.. you and others have rational and I understand it, but where is the moral outrage, like everyone else has? Thanks for playing devils advocate I guess

Either it’s their money to do what they wish with, or someone is enabling them. Let’s be grateful they’re supporting human based businesses

This seems harsh. There are obviously exceptions to these statements. There are also plenty of people who have these same undesirable traits, but no tattoos. Maybe I’m biased, as I have two tattoos myself, but most (not all) the comments I’ve seen look like people reaching for moral superiority.

I get what you’re saying but that’s still pretty spiteful man. This sub should be for education and support.

Tattoos are ancient and can have deep cultural significance.. or just be a simple aesthetic expression of individuality/creativity. It’s pretty hateful to call them gross.

I’m cool with this as long as everyone has to do something extremely masculine and physical like processing livestock/wild game or landscaping. Y’all feel or am I crazy?

I was banned a couple weeks ago for a pretty non-threatening common sense comment too. I think the bigger issue in response to OP is that people (both genders) develop misconceptions and poor stereotypes of the opposite gender for valid reasons, voice these in over generalized and insulting phrases, and there is SO much information (conversation) on the internet it’s overwhelming to maturely handle and correct/debate, so people fight instead. Someone treats you harsh or inconsiderately? You’re g…

OP is trying to educate herself on men’s issues and be a better person. OP might not be the “feminist” most of us think of. That said, your analysis of feminism is spot on.

That’s true. Maybe my thoughts will change on this as well. I didn’t mean to insinuate that you have to have a partner, but it did seem as if the OP was envious of his friends that do. I’m just offering the possibility that his belief in redpill ideologies may be the source of his unhappiness. Either way, I don’t think extremist views, blue or red, are the way to go for most people.

Without offending anyone I’ll try to give my most honest opinions towards red/blue pilled mentalities and this subreddit. I agree with some things here, other things I do not agree with. Absorbing as much information as you can on a topic you’re interested in is key to finding your own personal viewpoint. Try to find a balance and do not live your life solely on rational. We are emotional beings for a reason and biologically intended to have a partner. I have found in my life that I was much les…

I try not to be defined by another’s opinion but it still subconsciously gnaws at me a little as I consider having blame of negative feedback/responses from others.

Honestly that makes sense. I’m 20 and don’t know who to talk to about unorthodox lifestyles so I’d like to ask for some thoughts from someone more matured if you don’t mind. I’m not inclined on marriage either, but want to date for extended amounts of time. I’m emotionally confused and insecure because I want this with multiple girls instead of being tied down to one. Some recent events and corona has driven me to try to get my head straightened out. Through this I’ve learned to explore interest…

Was chatting with a girl on Snapchat from my hometown, had been casually talking for a couple weeks but no meet up due to corona. She did something I thought insensitive/rude. I neutrally and politely told her I had an issue with it and found it disrespectful not funny. She said I was pathetic and told me to pull the tampon out of my ass. I guess attempting to healthily express issues within a relationship makes you weak in the perspective of immature chicks.

Chick meets hot guy and they fuck, chick wants LTR, guy rejects chicks proposition, chick finds guy that meets her needs. This seems really understandable, is something flying over my head?

For myself, born in 2000, I was always worried about getting in legal trouble with my school or the police. I wish I grew up in a time where I could act out physically and we’d just handle it without any paperwork.

Of course! Well, in the past I have loved unconditionally and in retrospect to not think I received the same. Since I’ve started loving based off of what I can receive in return I’ve been happier dating but have found that less women are interested seeming as they can find unconditional love from other men

19m. Most often, yes. Sex is just sex. I only ever had one hookup where I felt more connected to the individual and that was because she was very dominant and I could truly relax. Usually I’m doing the same things with each girl because of the amount of effort they put forth, that one was different and pretty damned awesome ngl. Men can still get emotionally attached to women 100%. I’ve been looking into red pill ideologies lately and realized most of my exes haven’t done as much for me as I hav…

As far as the selfish, petty, etc remarks.. I’ve been thinking much of this since me and my ex broke up when I enlisted last year, although I label most of those thoughts as irrational resentment and I’ve been trying to “fix” my way of thinking. She dated a woman while I was in basic and afterwards told me women were better at handling emotions. Since then I’ve been trying to better understand their social patterns and emotions. I saw a post that mentioned FDS and MGTOW. Most the posts in both s…

19m here. Used to have more female than male friends as a kid. In the past I’ve felt like my love was reciprocated by my ex’s so I never minded treating them well. Currently pursuing a girl from back home and I’ve noticed myself going above and beyond at times to “win her over”. It’s starting to stress me out. I’m about 25% convinced of this ideology, but I feel as if I’m still not completely sure what it’s all about. Any and all responses appreciated.

There are some truths to this. I’m in the belief that a woman that will not support you through your hardships is not a woman worth keeping around.

19m here. I don’t think toxic masculinity means that having masculine personality’s are inherently toxic. I believe it refers to how boys/teenagers are raised to be stoic and enduring while putting off emotional and social needs as a human. Edit: I have cried in front of a long term female friend before. The outcome was love and support. She did not view me differently, but at the same time I don’t put on a show of manliness for anyone but my little brother. This is not an explanation of toxic m…
