There’s no such thing as “trans” people. Everyone is what they were born as. Don’t like it? That’s how you feel about what you are, not a change in what you are. Wake up OP.

Substitute sex with race and see if she still stands by all her reasoning. Blacks are much more likely than any other race to commit violent crime, so will she assume that every black person is a violent criminal until they prove otherwise? If her logic is sound, then she should. Better yet, tell her you don't want to associate with a toxic, bigoted person like her. There are plenty of other friend fish in the sea for you to hang with.

Three takes on "gender": Very conservative: Men are like this; women are like that. You are a man, so you must be like this. Classical liberal/feminist: Men are usually like this, but sometimes like that; women are usually like that, but sometimes like this. You are man, so you can be like this or that, no biggie. Trans activists/wokies: Men are like this; women are like that. You are like this, so you must be a man.

Because people who have been co-opted into the majority women-first culture of the West interpret calls for equality as anti-women.

This country would be on a better track if fewer women voted.

My organization has a supermajority of women. To increase "diversity," the organization has started an initiative to ... hire more women.

There are only two sexes: male and female. There are no "genders" like you are describing. Just people with psych problems cosplaying.

The potential Roe ruling isn't a statement of policy. It's an interpretation of the Constitution. It rightly notes that the Constitution says nothing about abortion and that Roe wrongly legislated a political "solution" to the abortion debate on non-existent constitutional grounds. Not sure what your stance is, but speak up to your state legislature.

Women are used to special treatment, so equality feels like discrimination to them.

Men are hugely "underrepresented" (that term gets misused a lot, but I think it fits in this context) in college, but I haven't seen any source explaining the factors that caused the shift. I think a biggest part is that males skew conservative, and conservatives have become more and more skeptical of higher education as colleges have gotten more and more woke. Colleges are basically hostile to conservatives and masculinity too, and conservatives and based men know that if they aren't willing to…

20 years ago: Racism is viewing individuals negatively based on perceived negative characteristics of their racial group. Today: Racism is NOT viewing white individuals negatively based on the ACTUAL negative characteristics of the white race and discriminating against them like they deserve.

You're shifting in and out of referring to yourself as a woman. Please resist the current anti-factual gender fad. It's a social contagion that is wreaking havoc on society. You're a woman, whether or not you feel 'womanly'. Men don't walk around feeling manly. People are just people.

Sounds frustrating, but nothing about this story has anything to do with her sex or yours. Some people do crappy things. Especially when they are desperate.

Why do you think this? My understanding is that Russia insists on having only neutral or pro-Russian countries along its border, and it is toppling the Ukrainian government so that it can install a pro-Russia government. Why would it want Ukraine to be a failure economically?

Some Netflix kid show (Brain something) has the lead character wearing a “the future is female” shirt. Screw that. Why are they sending blatantly misandrist messages to little girls and boys.

The root of all sexism, racism, etc. is treating people as if they merely are avatars of their socially defined group rather than individuals. So, each man is blamed for all bad behavior committed by other men. Each woman carries the virtue of all other women. Once you agree to this framework, you have already lost the game (or won it) depending on whether your social group is favored or disfavored by society. Women are heavily favored today, so they are biased to have a sexist world view. Of co…

Congrats on being a generally level-headed and reasonable person in this crazy day and age. I’d like to push back on this sentiment of yours though: “First and Second wave notably are important for placing women on an equal pedestal to men and gaining what we view as basic civil liberties.” I think the better take is that Western culture assigned different duties and expectations on the two sexes, and men were just as trapped in theirs as women were. If you wanted to decide ‘which sex had it wor…

Title is misleading. The study looked at “modern sexism,” which is a BS measure that calls anyone sexist who doesn’t like all the special treatment that women get these days, despite over performing men in almost every measure. It has nothing to do with sexual harassment.

Private groups should be able to exclude anyone they don’t like. But if they are discriminating by gender, they shouldn’t get a dime of school money or be able to use school facilities.

Why is it always all possible ethnic variations on one team vs. whites on the other? Whites aren't even the most successful subgroup in America. Why are we always the villain?

You were discriminated against for being white and male. You would not have been reprimanded or had benefits withheld if you were a minority or a woman. Illegal motives were attributed to you based on anti-white stereotypes. Go to the EEOC or your state equivalent. This shit doesn’t change unless people stand up for themselves.

This anti-male bias is institutionalized in almost all large corporations, which are obsessed with signaling their virtue to 'minority' groups like women, 'people of color', and LGBT, etc. They create programs and fast tracks for perceived minorities at the expense of males and whites and straights.
