I’m trying to guess at what you mean that r/feminism is “AIDS”. However, it’s an interesting solution- to try and stop teaching men to rape. I’m not too sure what this means. I feel like a lot of the societal pressure on men stems from women themselves. Growing up, I was much less afraid of acting like myself around guys, but as soon as a girl was present, especially as I got older, I tried to act more like “society” just because women were so unfamiliar, and I was afraid of what they might thin…

Care to give an example for feminists saying they indeed are suitable for combat roles? It’s interesting that they would take this approach to attacking this gender inequality. I would think, and I do believe, the best way to solve the problem of sexist selective service, is to stop requiring men to enroll, and enforcing penalties for men not enrolling. I’m surprised this isn’t the stance feminists take. Of course, this bring up the issues and implications of a government not being able to round…

Explain to me how signing up for selective services when you turn 18 isn’t the definition of conscription. If you made that statement out of honest ignorance, I now know why it is an issue rarely brought up.

But there is absolutely no push to change the law! I’m required to register with selective services in order to receive financial aid from the government for college as a Male above 18!

I completely agree. No one should be required to go to war. I'm not arguing that women need to register as well as men, I am merely wondering why it's a topic rarely brought up.

Fair point, I didn’t realize “draft” had such a connotation. Regardless, why isn’t selective service brought up more? I think it would be the biggest issue with gender inequality in America? I was just asking if there is something wrong with this argument.

Maybe I need to make another post..... It’s still relevant- if an 18 year old wants to receive monetary support from the government for college, he is required to sign up for the draft. It’s not outdated...

I wasn’t trying to give a list on the only issues men face. I was trying to ask why the draft is never brought up, at least with what I’ve seen on this sub.
