I’m right there with ya, babe. I’m always so torn because on one hand, after my rhino I do feel better about my looks 90% of the time, and my self esteem has improved. However, when I sit down to really unpack WHY it has made me feel better about myself, I go back to all of the shitty men in my life and realize that they likely had an impact on why I did what I did, and that makes me sad for younger me.

Of course the entire thread is chock full of low value men (and pickmeishas) encouraging it. I took this advice just one time (pre FDS) and it ended up going poorly and I regretted everything. These men have just gotten so so lazy and entitled that they encourage women to make the first move so they can benefit from the work the woman will do in this scenario, while not really committing to her, because his dream girl would never stoop so low as to ask him out. Ugh!

Speaking as a vegan, people most definitely do! haha. For veganism and FDS principles, it's mostly about people knowing something that they're doing is wrong, and wanting to justify their own behavior, so they speak negatively against the people that they disagree with.
