Yeah, I knew I fcked up somewhat there. That's why I posted here, I lack the experience to pinpoint what went wrong accurately. what would have been better to say there? On a side note I wasn't planning on hanging around for more than a day (which might already be too long, I wouldn't know). I just wanted to see if she would give me another opening to invite her out within 24hrs.

You're probably right, I wasn't planning on orbiting her for months hoping she'd become available. I just need advice on how I continue from the point I am at. I will probably try asking her out one more time, if she makes an excuse I will have her pick a time and date. If she gives a vague answer like "soon" or something like that, I'll leave it at that.

The thing is she lives in another city. Only 25-30 minutes away by car so it's not a big deal. But enough that I can't casually go there without reason.
