Maybe she wasn't the best mother in that regard but that's hardly a good reason to proverbially send her off to pasture like that. I really struggle with the thought of a nursing home, especially for those who don't really need any intensive care. Maybe mom/dad/uncle etc. aren't who they used to be and maybe they require a little more effort as they slowly slip away but we owe them that. These are the people who raised us.

I'd say that's just attractive people in general. As an adult I've gone from being overweight to appearing to be in really good shape while dressed. The difference in the way I'm treated is appalling and it's not just women.

"If you have money they [girls] will chase you" was mentioned to me a few times but I didn't have much in the way of parental supervision past eleven or twelve years old. Most of my understanding of the world was built from experience or movies/television. I grew up in a fairly poor area so the men around me who were working their way through the female population were either thugs or pretty boys. College kids might have a steady girl but that's about it.

Do you know someone who's really content in his loneliness? I spent a decade working customer service in a fairly low income area and had a few customers who were forgotten souls, if you will. They all wanted just a few minutes to talk and to anyone at that; once you're truly alone gender doesn't seem to matter at that point. As heretical as it may be around here, to agree with a woman, I agree with the quote and I think "monk mode" is productive for both sexes.

I'm someone who's avoided the traditional photo moments of life but I often regret doing so after. I wish I had let my mother take more than the three cell phone photos when I graduated in from university or more than the two photos that are left from my high school graduation. From personal experience I've found this to not be the case. Beta-bux who don't pay up do not exist, you're literally not there in the mind of women. If they work with you, you're a black-box that magically does your prescribed work and that's it. Women will naturally avoid a man who's an extremely poor breeding partner. It's very difficult for them to be around a man of poor genes and poor genes. Sounds like you're actually a borderline attractive person, tbh.

My sparring "buddy" broke my nose during kickboxing sparring one night, about a decade ago. I haven't noticed any real difference in the way I'm treated or in my general behavior. Breathing through my nose hasn't been nearly the same since. The only thing I can think of is that people who have difficulty breathing are less likely to be good athletes. (maybe?) Without sport a man loses something from his personality.

Japanese Ju-Jitsu is still considered a grappling style much like Aikido. No need to argue semantics however because I'm near sure that you're correct in assuming he mean bjj. That depends on whether or not he's talking about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Japanese Ju-Jitsu. Bjj is a good sport to get started in as you'll face the reality of being an amateur athlete; i.e. the "holy crap, I am human and frail" moment. But in Bjj it's very unlikely you'll get yourself seriously hurt learning that. Once the machismo has faded he should start taking some Muay Thai lessons.
