And here’s the kicker: that expression? It can come off a little judgy, a little condescending, like he’s trying to stay above it all. But if the energy isn’t backed up by real confidence or clarity, it can end up looking like someone trying to be impressive, not being impressive. ChatGPT knows too much, SHUT IT DOWN.

I can't answer because I might get banned for more verboten content. I'll ask you: How is mocking a misandrist woman claiming she can't be a misandrist because she likes her brother and her husband by saying this "I have a friend of a different race, therefore I cannot be a racist." race baiting content?

A mod can make a comment like this, but I get a warning for violating the race rule when I went out of my way not to mention any specific race (nor was my comment actually related to race). Cool cool cool.

A 20-year $2M policy for me is like $50 a month as far as I can tell. $2M is several times more than I earn in a year, and would offer plenty of security for my hypothetical family. They wouldn't be set for life, but it'd give my widow plenty of time figure something out. That being said, I've never even tried to get life insurance since I have no reason to.

Like girl he doesn’t give a fuck about you or your desire to get married…leave him. That's what I'm saying, why don't they? It’s okay that you don’t see wrongdoings against women as wrongdoings, but at least be honest about it. Where did I imply those men had done nothing wrong? Of course leading someone on is wrong. I just don't think those women have forgiven them for it. They've just decided to put it up with it for whatever reason. There's nothing altruistic about it.

Those women are just acting in their own self-interest, it has nothing to do with being forgiving or not. They've made the calculus being a forever-gf to the guy they're with is more appealing than the alternative. They've forgiven nothing. Forgiveness would be accepting the guy isn't going to marry them and then not bitching about it online.

She's well below average if she gets so few likes that this one stands out enough to bother her a year later. Also the fact that she's even considering giving him another chance means she's got nothing else going on. That's not a thing average women have to give a second thought to.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/25 06:58 PM

I'd say 60/40 this is mostly just complaints this one woman who told you all this in the first place has about you. If you overshared sexual details at some point, it'd most likely have been with her because you said you were close. You probably creeped her out at some point (whether you were actually being creepy or not), and then she started finding everything you do creepy. After that, she started poisoning the well against you. I'd start looking for a new job.

This feels like mostly conjecture on your part, but I know even less about the situation in Europe as an American. Here, men don't want the overwhelming majority of jobs in the medical field. The idea that a meaningful number of women are going to the trouble of becoming a doctor just to marry a doctor seems unrealistic to me. Nurses and assistants maybe, but not doctors.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/25 03:09 AM

treated me with respect and wasnt just rushing to get in my pants. What does this actually look like in practice? The majority of women expect men to take the initiative physically (first kiss, touching, sex), so what is the difference between doing that and "just trying to get into a woman's pants?" How do you express that you actually want a relationship while also not being interpreted as disinterested or gay?

A cutecel is someone who is cute looking, but cannot find a partner. Male cutecels sometimes had positive female attention in their teenage years, but women found them too feminine after around age 18. A cutecel tends to be near the bottom of male social hierarchies. Male cutecels are usually unintentionally androgynous, angry, and sad. Their hyper-feminine appearance is often a turn-off to women after their teenage years.[1] Some cutecels are also short, just shy, have autism, or body image iss…

I think a lot of those random women who are suddenly into you when you get a gf would've been into you regardless. A guy being taken just gives them a reason to actively pursue you instead of being passive like they normally are. Preselection is part of it, but not all of it.

Laborers get paid shit, especially for the wear and tear it puts on your body. There's a reason those jobs are mostly filled by convicted felons and illegal immigrants. To get hired as high end waiter or bartender definitely requires a skillset. With no skills you're gonna start out a busboy or a barback, again making shit.

That's a possibility whether you've had a hoe phase or not. You can start to miss the good ol' days too. I think that's even more likely given women often refer to ending their "hoe phase" as being ready to stop having fun and settle down. A higher divorce rate is also correlated with higher N count.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 02:42 AM
7

Given your flair and how clearly obsessed with this topic you are, it seems like you're trying to convince yourself more than you're trying to convince us. Maybe pair bonding isn't real, but there are A LOT of women getting into situationships that aren't casual on their end. These women who repeat the same behavior over and over again seem to become jaded by these experiences. As a jaded person myself, it's easy to see how that has a negative impact on future relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 02:37 AM
2

Nope, I don't see how that information helps me. My default is to assume she's had sex with a hotter dude than me at some point anyways, and I just don't find that to be worth caring about. The only thing I really care about is if she's been an absolute whore, and that's gonna come to light eventually anyways.

I've never heard a man express that, much like I've never heard a woman express what OP is expressing before. There are men who don't understand why their wives are always mad at them, and that's often because their wives settled and were never attracted to them to begin with. When someone is fundamentally unhappy with you, they look for things to get mad at you for to justify their unhappiness.

He has to have something physically that i like, for my husband for example, it's his very plushy skin. /r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 06:06 PM

Do you think most women would relate to you in this way? Do you think you make it apparent you feel that way when you encounter man like that in real life?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 06:04 PM
1

Any guesses why? Just a feeling?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 05:46 PM

I think I'm rare in that I'm flexible on children. I think I'd kill it (perhaps not the best choice of words) as a dad, but I'll probably won't feel regret if I never have children. I think it'll mean divorce for most people, though.

Depends how you define bad. Given your stated preferences, I suspect your disgust for Chalamet comes from the fact that he looks more like prey than predator (in the good way, not the bad way). He's not a bad guy by any other metric as far as I know.

Depends on why. I've had it happen twice. Once for a week, which ultimately wasn't a big deal. I just needed to relax and get my mind off it. Another time I thought I stopped wanting to have to sex with my gf because I thought I was worried about not being able to perform. What was actually happening was I simply didn't want to have sex with her anymore. I was done with the relationship because she treated me like shit. My body knew it was over long before I consciously did.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 04:30 PM

Yes, I'm American. Nowadays, I think I should've joined the coast guard, which was not even a thought when I was younger. I think it'd be fun to be a rescue swimmer, or chase drug smugglers, or even fly helicopters if I got lucky. There seem to be a lot of fun jobs in that branch.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 04:13 PM

Yeah you got me there. I concede the argument. Be honest though, you don't really to vomit when you look at a guy you're not attracted to, do you? I mean, there are plenty of women I'm 100% not attracted to, but none of them really make wretch on sight alone. They just do nothing for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:58 PM

I'm of the opposite school of thought, I think we'd be better off as a society if we were harder on everyone instead of just men.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:47 PM

Yes, I wish I hadn't let my family talk me out of it when I was younger.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:45 PM

Even though you're not attracted to him, you know damn well Chalamet's not ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:39 PM

You're entitled to your opinion, but I've got no shortage of blame to throw around, so I'm gonna do it. Furthermore, I think if the genders were flipped, people would have no problem blaming the man. Women get sympathy, men get told they should've seen it coming and to be better.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:39 PM

I appreciate that.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:28 PM

These are preferences within a preference. Ugly is ugly, and no one prefers ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:24 PM

Of course it's not okay lol, I'm not defending Tate. I just think people who offer themselves up to a known predator, and expect the predator not to do what a predator does are equally to blame.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:20 PM

I don't think you're different from any other woman really.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:16 PM

Not sure why there are so many complaints about this. $50/month or whatever it is a small price to pay if it enables you to get what you want. That's only like 1.5 first dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:11 PM

In that case I think I'd rather be invisible.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:04 PM

I'd say it's about the same. Women are just willing to have a relationship with no physical attraction on their end while men will almost always be at least someone physically attracted to their partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:03 PM

I think her saying she wants to be friends right off the bat was a bad sign and something you should avoid in the future. Unless there's some obvious reason based on your profile, why would she want to be friends when you don't even know each other? Why is she using a dating app to make friends?

Saying Amazon would crash suggests it would happen overnight. That's not what's going to happen. Bezos could start slowly divesting from Amazon and investing in AI/robots and the resources needed provide them with energy. By the time Amazon as it exists today is no longer needed and therefore worthless, it won't matter to him.

If there are legitimate genetically heritable issues, then of course. This is what got me thinking about it. I'm wondering whether if it can be avoided, are you obligated not to risk passing a heritable disease on to your children? Let's say the disease is something like type 1 diabetes or asthma.

Why says they will need people to buy their products? Demand for consumer products only exists because people have wants and needs. Baldness and being short are two of the classic things people say can be overcome through confidence, and it's simply not true. Every woman finds those features unattractive. Even when women date those guys, they're settling hard and physical attraction is largely if not totally absent. I acknowledged them all, I just singled out veiny arms as an example. They're all not universally attractive or unattractive features. Side note: It's interesting to me how women on this sub seem to prefer more f…

/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 07:35 AM

You'll never convince me (I warned you not to try) you'd rather date an ugly secure guy over "normal everyday insecure" attractive guy. And no "neither" isn't an option in this scenario. Ugly is worse than insecure. Fact.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 07:09 AM

Non answer
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 06:59 AM

Those are not universally unattractive or universally attractive features. They're secondary or tertiary features at best. Even if a woman finds veiny arms unattractive, for example, most of the time she won't reject a man she otherwise likes because of it. Now you don't know how to proceed.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 06:56 AM

Of course, you'd have to be dumb to think it could go anywhere else.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 06:24 AM

plenty of guys who are not objectively or universally unattractive have insecurities and they are still able to get a gf or even hook ups. No shit? How is this contradictory to what I said? however, can you give me a list of traits that are universally considered unattractive? deformities? We both already know what these are, so no.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 06:16 AM

Alright, let's do an experiment: Name three physical features you find unattractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 06:12 AM

You can't say we have to follow traditions because they're followed by most of the world and then go "oh wait, not that one!" Well, you can, I guess, it's just hypocritical. In any case, I don't really care about you personally. There are plenty of women who do identify as feminists who do still want men to be traditional while not being traditional themselves, and those are the women I'm talking shit about. Maybe that applies to you, maybe it doesn't. It doesn't really matter to me.

My whole suspicion from my first reply was that you love tradition when it suits you, but eschew it when you don't. That was the whole point I was trying to make. My suspicions were confirmed when you said also believe in the parts of feminism you like, and eschew the parts you don't ("there are things I believe in and things I don’t."). I'm not trying to box you (women in general mainly) in as a feminist. I'm trying to box you in as a hypocrite, which you undoubtedly are.

That's a common refrain, and I don't buy it. There are ethical concerns with the phone in your hand too and probably half the shit in your house, but you don't care about those. Would you change your mind if he only looks at amateur porn that people have posted on their own free will?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 04:28 PM

If that's all it takes, we're not gonna last anyways. I think women being insecure about porn is one of the dumbest things they do. I watch porn because my imagination is lacking (in all aspects of life, not just this one) and I just want to get jerk off and be done with it. The woman I'm with is not being compared to people on a screen, just like I'm hopefully not being compared to the guys in her "romance" novels, or worse, the guy in her office she's recently developed a crush on.

Western Standards: Masculine features, a defined jawline, and facial symmetry are highly valued—your look fits well into this category. A clean-shaven or sharply groomed beard could further refine it. (8-9/10, depending on personal style preferences). European/Modeling Standards: A more chiseled or angular look with leaner features is often preferred in high fashion. You have strong facial structure, but a more "effortless" or styled approach might push you further into this category. (7-8/10, d…

I don't consider faking interests or aspects of your personality to be as sinister as lying. If you've ever been in a relationship, you've probably done something you didn't want to do to make them happy. Doing something beforehand for the same purposes is no different. You just have to be willing to maintain the charade for their sake at your expense. I'm not saying it guarantees you success on it's own in a vacuum, or that every tall man is automatically successful. I'm saying it can make up for a list of other negatives. In real life women are slightly more forgiving in real life, but being taller than other men makes you stand out rather than blend in. Standing out vs blending in can be all the difference, including in real life.

You seem unfamiliar with how the algorithm works on apps. I've used an app before with a blank profile before just to check it out. Obviously, a blank profile isn't going to get many likes. Very quickly, the only profiles that account was presented as options to swipe on were other clearly unpopular profiles. The guys you're talking about are not even being shown the 10,000 women you're talking about except for maybe the first 24 hours while the algo attempts to determine your league.

Men bail on the friend group when they get a gf too. Don't make friends with women that you secretly want to fuck, don't do stuff for them that you wouldn't do for a guy friend, and it'll be like any other friendship. It doesn't seem like there are any industries where being entry level doesn't suck. It seems to me it's just a matter of how long it's gonna suck and what the eventual upside is. There's just no way around the fact that experience is infinitely more valuable than any education.

Look at industries where there is a shortage of available labor and pursue the one you think you can tolerate most, whether that be via college or vocational training. Or join the military (kind of US specific advice). It ain't rocket science. People get ripped off by secondary education because they "chase their dreams" and then figure out why dreams are dreams.

Women especially. How often do we hear women say they want to be chosen and feel special? If a man did this to a woman he'd be dead to her immediately 99% of the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 06:59 AM

Seems like he was actually her last choice given the "dead end" wording. That reads to me like she literally exhausted every other possible avenue at the moment before she circled back to this guy. Regardless, second choice or last choice, there's knowing deep down you probably (almost definitely) weren't someone's first choice, and then there's having it spelled out in plain english. I'd rather just start fresh with someone else.

Eh, NYC is comparable on paper with regard to walkability and forced daily interaction with strangers, and it has a pretty horrible reputation as far as dating goes. If most people are casual OLD users i.e. not swiping thousands of times, how are average women getting past the algorithm to these so-called average men? Also a woman saying her female friends are with looksmatched males is laughable. Women overrate women and underrated men as a rule. For all the things the infamous OKCupid study may or may not prove, it does prove that.

Match group's stock is down 82% from its all time high four years ago. /r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 02:37 PM

Most people being casual users actually proves his point too. A casual female user of a dating app will only ever be shown the most popular male profiles according to female users. That's how the algorithm works. Women are all selecting the same guys and most men's profiles are almost never even seen.

It's a shame the study didn't also show them nude videos of men for the sake of comparison. I bet the arousal rate would be drastically lower. My support for this hypothesis that most women say they don't find pornography or nude content featuring men appealing, and because most women readily admit they find most men unattractive. This is why I suggested they lean more towards being gay rather leaning more towards bisexuality.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 12:02 AM

This should actually make men who get little or no attention from women feel better about themselves. If most women actually just lean towards being gay, there's really nothing wrong with you except for the fact that you're not a woman. Nothing you can do about that short of transitioning, if even that.

Couples aren’t getting married because there’s no point when you’re already living together and monogamous Bullshit. Being forever-girlfriend-zoned is quite literally one of the most common fears I still hear from women. Women are not tolerating that kind of lack of commitment on a significant scale. More people are opting to stay single because a relationship/dating/fwb isn’t worth the effort it requires. More women are opting out because there aren't enough Chads to go around. It's really that…

So your basis for this claim about how women view men is…one anecdote of a lesbian relationship? Hilarious, isn't it? Lesbian dating dynamics have little in common with hetero dating dynamics simply because even straight women will tell you they think most women are more attractive than most men. Women rate most women as above average and rate most men as below average.

The only thing that evokes that sort of desperation from women is a man out of her league. Average guys are a dime a dozen, hot men are rare. Scarcity motivates people to act desperately. Econ 101. If it makes you feel any better, men behave the same way in response to scarcity in the dating market. The only difference for them is, attention from any women is relatively scarce so they kind of act that way with all of them. I've experienced it first hand. Again, by the dictionary definitions you are correct. In the real world it's a different story. I have been described as both confident and arrogant by different people, and it's entirely dependent on whether they already had a positive opinion of me or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 05:34 PM

While those are more or less the definitions of those words in the dictionary, that's often not how they're used in practice. People often describe people as arrogant when they believe someone's confidence to be unearned or unwarranted, regardless of their actual competence. It's heavily dependent on whether people like you or not, and looks have a lot to do with whether people like you.

/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 06:18 AM

Women already do ask out the guys they like, or do everything short of it. Men who have to chase are only wanted by women if they're willing to accept a situation where they put in the majority of the effort for little in return. The whole point of chasing is about proving you're willing to debase yourself for her attention.

So let me get this straight, when women spew vitriol we should empathize with them and realize it's coming from a place of valid and genuine grievances. Thanks for acknowledging you agree with me. That's rare here.

Really? I remember botox being an option when I was trying to stop sweating too much. Thankfully Certain Dri permanently clogged my pits.

When were they ever about following one's heart? For most of human history they were about survival, now they're about tingles.

Botox is probably your only option then. I have no experience with that though.

Doesn't matter really. Men don't really care if a woman is stylish and women won't like a man because he's stylish.

He has not be "something else." Being nice doesn't matter, and is at best a neutral personality trait, but is usually unattractive. Who almost always has the hotter gf/wife? The hot ruthless guy or the hot nice guy?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/25 05:09 AM

I'm just saying no woman likes a man because he's nice. You extrapolated the rest of that shit.

Most couples throughout human history haven't liked each other all that much.

Maybe it's not true for you, but r dating and similar forums are full of women asking for advice on how to get guys out of their league who've put them on the furthest back burner to fall in love with them. Dating down seems like a good option for average men.

Why would a woman give a man she doesn't find hot the time of day in the first place? I've been assured this doesn't happen?!?!
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/25 04:43 AM

That's the whole point. Most men have fewer options than his equivalent woman, so his best bet for a long term relationship is a woman who likes him more than he likes her. If she likes him more than he likes her, she's less likely to discard him for the slightest indiscretion.

She used an unattractive physical trait to justify her distaste for the unattractive personality trait. A beard that doesn't connect isn't a real dealbreaker.

I think they do generally hate the ugly ones, they just don't need to talk about that because it's expected. If they like the successful and/or hot ones they generally try to hide it. Looks and status trump all at the end of the day.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/25 04:28 AM

They have the same hate for the unsuccessful ugly ones. Really it's just about not being ugly.

Genuinely nice men are always pushovers to a fault which is unattractive. There are definitely fake nice guys like the ones she's deriding in this video, but women can't help but virtue signal, so she has to paint all nice men as fake. They're not all bad, they're just unattractive.

I don't really know any truly wealthy guys, but upper middle class white guys are consistently the biggest boob guys I know.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/25 03:04 AM

It does make a difference because it's about the status of the guy being the magical 6ft+ and therefore also taller than most other men. Women don't care about the logic of it, they only care about how it makes them feel.

"Sidewalk rule" Nah. If you're out with someone you should operate as a team to avoid danger, what are we even doing there if there's a risk to us? I suppose the evergreen risk there is a car veering off the road onto the sidewalk and the person furthest from the road is marginally safer in that scenario. Or if I need to defend her from something I can push her to a wall and act as a shield. I'm certain I've never thought about it consciously until right now, but I do reckon I've usually been on…

So is women's "locker room talk" them expressing how they really feel or not? Because I never thought for a second women ever bought the "it's just locker room talk" excuse from men.

women's standards, their looks, lack of income How are these not entirely valid things to blame?

It’s easy to just decide it’s because of your height, or penis size, or whatever insecurity, blame women for not liking you, and become bitter and angry, and then come and lash out at the women who are trying to actually be helpful and have a conversation about it. What would you prefer men blame their lack of success on? Don't say personality, because I'm sure you wouldn't deny that personality alone does not generate romantic interest. Looks sure as shit can't though.

It wouldn't sell so well if these weren't sentiments shared by the average woman.

They are if they're hot. What is it women always say? "The bar is in hell for (hot) men?"
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/25 07:12 AM

There aren't many when you have a position that's impossible to defend, so I understand why you responded the way you did. We're both just arguing based on anecdotes. Being a woman doesn't make you the authority on the subject.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/25 06:58 AM

"I can't refute anything you say, so here are some feminist buzzwords and allusions to you being a child. Take that, moid."
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/25 06:12 AM

Yes, I know, this is PPD and all women are infallible KWEEEENS who would never embarrass themselves like that. Obviously I'm just making shit up.

A man being sexually attractive may make it more likely to live with him not carrying his load, but it doesn't make it more likely for us to partner with him in the first place - especially when we could just fuck him casually and not have to wash his laundry or deal with his beard trimmings in the sink. You've got this one backwards based on what I hear from women. Women seem utterly desperate get into relationships with hot guys, all else be damned. I can't tell you how many women I've heard t…

they stop "feeling sexy" and men settle in and stop making them feel sexy. Probably because they learned long ago that trying to make a woman who feels unsexy is a fool's errand. That's what makes dating someone with low self-esteem so brutal and draining.
